    I’m new to mixing, i’m a singer/songwritter but want to be able to record and put out songs. I just recently got a mic and audio interface + logic pro for ipad. I would love a “for beginners” video if you ever have the chance

    Was trying to use those groups in Cubasis 3. Categories and one group for all of them. But You can only use 1 track only once in any group it appears. I noticed logic pro had a update. So I think I wil try that. Nice short and informative video. Thanks!

    Hi . How many instruments channels do you think it can handle, let's say with 4 fxs per channel. My mac is obsolete and I have the doubt between buying a Macbook pro or an Ipad Pro. Thanks

    Any suggestions on mixing vocals solely on ipad? Can the stock apps in logic do the job or are there other “must have’s”? Great videos by the way

    • @SimienHill
      @SimienHill  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Starting out I would suggest to mix everything using stock plugins. And one of my next videos will be about recording and mixing (now using stock plugins). There are some great must have third party AUV3 plugins as well

    Is there an app like ozone on iPad which allows to mix and master music automatically ?

    • @SimienHill
      @SimienHill  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not yet, however the best limiter I’ve used for final loudness (Other Than Fabfilter Pro L2) is a auv3 plugin called TB Barricade. Both great overall limiters for that final finish. But as far as a full Ozone type of plugin, there isn’t one yet. But you can think of the different functions within Ozone and begin to try to manually master yourself. If you’d like a video on mastering, let me know.

    Will there be logic pro for iphone or not?

    • @SimienHill
      @SimienHill  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, no. Logic Pro will not release on the iPhone mainly due to the size of the screen hindering a lot of multi-touch functionality.

    Very nice, good stuff. One question - why do you create a Mix Bus to send all the other busses to? Isn’t that just duplicating the Stereo Out track? I do all my final bus mixing and effects on the Stereo Out track. Is there an advantage to doing it on a Mix Bus track instead?

    • @SimienHill
      @SimienHill  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More control later if you want to record into that track and mixes or print just FXs like delay throws or reverbs. Will give more control over a mix for sure. That’s a industry trick that i usually do in pro tools though

    • @SimienHill
      @SimienHill  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also, from what I’ve done so far it seems like the stereo out track has a built in limiter of some sort that can not be altered or bypassed so id say best to not touch it
