Thanks for that, just what I was after 👍 Have recently started with Logic Pro for iPad and wanted this sort of guitar specific content. Much appreciated.

Nice session and having a solid player to explore the set up was a great idea, the questions were really helpful. I’ve been gigging with a ‘19 iPad Air for years - I have the same types of apps (the price for iOS is such an amazing value!). Thanks to Dan for bringing some sweetness!

Great to see examples of live musicians using logic on the ipad. I'm a gigging keyboard player and my fellow band members often practice in my cramped studio where we enjoy experimenting with recording the band. This type of video is extremely useful in seeing how apps perform in a live situation. Logic pro for ipad has far exceeded my expectations and look forward to more videos like this exploring the features of logic for musicians. Well done Mr Seljoy.

Trevor I’m excited to hear how you and your band are making use of Logic on the iPad. Jacking into iOS certainly saves space and still sounds great-a player’s dream. I have some episodes in mind to see how far we can take this.

Good stuff Sel. These videos are enticing to make the plunge. Honestly, as a Logichead, it seems pretty intuitive. Great content!

Lovely interesting video. I’m a guitarist and find the iPad great for practice. I love the Logic Live Loops facility. Do you use Logic Pro iPad as your main DAW?

I’m putting it through its paces on a couple records to see how far it can go. I’ll share some videos on how that’s going

Anything Apple is a non starter for me. Sorry. I cant roll with something that purposely refuses to work with other computer ecosystems.

I used to be the same way. I was anti-Apple because of their exclusivity and their lack of compatibility. Times have really changed and they’ve really established a strong eco-system that invites other platforms to “visit” with the enticement to jump in. Everything really works really well together. It’s how we all dreamed computing would be 20yrs ago.
Don’t knock it til you try it 😉

Well that’s totally false in music production there have always been standards Midi the exporting of stems and wave files. These things kinda make your point moot.

I'm there with you, but I bought an iPad just as a mobile music studio/DAW. It and a Tascam X8 replaced my hardware groove box and multi-track recorder. I'm not too worried about it not playing well with my desktop(monster Win11 gaming system) or my phone(Samsung S22) because it's just there for making music.

Really nice walkthrough of some great features that aren't obvious when you first sit down and start playing with Logic Pro. Thanks @seljoy

Thanks for the great feedback @monch1962. The desktop setup gives us so many windows that we can spread across different displays. I’m eager to see what happens with future updates to the ipad for external display support.
