    Funny how a cheap dirtjump or bmx frame looks way better than most super expensive mtb’s in terms of tube shapes, dropouts etc. Mtb is still in the wacky, overly gusseted phase that bmx has left at least 15 years ago, followed by dj bikes.

  • @facundonu
    @facundonu 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    dude, i hope its not too late! dont jump on that bike like that! you put a straight fork on a tappered frame. that's gonna get really lose instantly.
    furthermore (not so critical anyway) cranks are not supposed to be tight like that. the bolts at the end of the axle dont go so tightened. some cranksets come with an spacer tube to put on the axle between bearings so you tighten the whole system without puting lateral stress on the bearings. if no spacer, dony tighten it hard.

    Your cranks are too tight, you don't need hardly any spacers on your drive side of your cranks, your fork should be tapered like your steerer tube. Also do not grease your grips or crank arms.

    • @jansihlovec8649

      its actually possible to put straight fork to tapered frame, all u need is crownrace that fits on straight fork but at the same time also fits 1 1/2 bearing. some headsets come with these two types of crownraces. and its also possible to do it opposite way - tapered fork to non tapered frame. in that case you will also need specific headset for that, but its possible to do. jsut do some research on that
