My wife and I enjoy your channel and it’s inspired us to go camping in a couple weeks in my R1T. We also love your cooking setup and plan on getting the exact same griddle. Would love to know if you power it from your R1S and if you have any recommendation for best use. Thank you so much for your help and we look forward to seeing more of your content.
Thanks! Glad you planned to go camping soon. Hope it's not too cold by then. We do power everything off the R1S, so anything from cooking and charging accessories. I'm not sure what your comfort level with regular camping, but one EV specific concern you need to double check is the range loss from cooking and AC use. For reference we sleep inside the R1S and often use some level of AC. Combine that with cooking throughout the day, we lose roughly 20 miles of range per day. I assume you will be sleeping outside (since you have a R1T) so I would estimate losing
@@ChargeSetGo You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for the info and the advice! Great recommendation on the wattage of the cookware. We hadn’t even thought about that. But like I said, we will be getting the same one you guys have so it should be fine. It will be my wife and two year old son’s first time camping, so I want to make sure they are as comfortable as can be, given the situation. We will be staying at a campsite with power and water, and I’ll be getting the same 30v adapter, so I’m hoping I can charge a little bit while there. But yes, we are staying in a tent, not in the truck. We are in Florida so the cold isn’t a concern, unfortunately. lol We will probably be watching all of your videos now to see if we can get any other ideas from you guys, so thanks again in for the amazing content and help. Lastly, are the Amazon links affiliate links? We would love to support you guys to say thanks for the help, even if it’s just a little.
@@Riv_23 No problem! Yes, the Amazon links are affiliate links. Thank you! I don't have enough subs to monetize on TH-cam but hoping to get the number up soon!
I can’t afford a rivian but I absolutely love that set up for camping.
Glad you liked it. Definitely doable with any mid to large size SUVs, hope you get to try it out soon!

Shaver lake is such a good spot hope you hit the rock slides and giant redwoods while you were there
