I think it’s funny how many things you don’t need to bring because you have a Rivian. You don’t need an air compressor, the flashlight, the leveler (Rivian has a self leveling feature using the hydraulic suspension). If you get a inductive stove you can plug in to your Rivian and won’t need gas. You don’t need the Jackerie either, your drone/camera/etc will not make a dent on your mileage.
This is very true! I wanted to include some of those items for people who aren’t driving a Rivian but it’s awesome how much stuff is included with the truck😃
Highly recommend checking out the Weber q grill. I had one of those Coleman grills for years and while they are somewhat slim in profile, their cooking performance is terrible.. mostly because they don't have a diffuser for the flames and anything more than low and the flames are actually contacting what you're cooking and burning it. The Weber q cooks like a full sized grill, and the heavy cast iron grates retain heat so you don't lose it all when you open it up.
Great videos - all of them, not just this one. I would definitely appreciate a video on how you use Gaia or On X (Gaia if I had to pick one). Getting into this space myself as soon as my R1T arrives, so I am learning from you in advance of that. Thanks again for the great videos.
Thanks, I found this video really helpful. I have my R1T and Yakima rooftop tent but not much else so I'll be heading to REI with a shopping list. It would be great if you could do a Gaia GPS instructional video. Also great camera work and editing. I know how long that takes!!
Excellent videos! Do you have a longer air hose for your compressor and if so what is it? I'm attempting to do some adventure work with my R1T and I want to be prepared. :)
I used the LISLE 19860 Deflators for awhile and they work fast but no way to measure the pressure. A few people I know use the Staun Deflators and seem to work well. There are quite a few options on Amazon but those are the only two I have experience with👍🏻 I recently upgraded to the Maxtrax Indeflate kit which isn’t cheap but very happy with how it works.

Would love to see more on your use and experience with Gaia and OnX Offroad apps! Great video!!!
Great video, looking forward to the next one!
Thanks!

Interesting info - I’ve since switched to an iKamper disco stove but will have to do a little research on the Weber!
Great video! Really cover a lot of important and informative content! Awesome!

Thank you! So happy to hear you are finding these videos helpful🙌🏻 I’m sure you’ll enjoy your R1T when it arrives!
I'd also love a video about the navigation/planning apps 👍
Very thorough! Thank you!

Thanks! I just use the air hose that came with the truck and recently have been pairing that with an InDeflate to air up/air down
A Gaia gps video would be nice.
I’m looking for a good inexpensive option to air down my Rivian tires (20” off-road). What brands do you recommend?

Does the Yeti 65 actually fit in the bed with the tonneau cover closed? I was under the impression it doesn't.
Yes it does actually!
I thought the Rivian can level itself at the campsite.
It can now! Didn’t have that feature in the software when I made this video
