very nice tutorial i managed to follow all the steps using my mom's computer and now i have kinda crappy but good sampled chromatics!
finally, now i can make chromatic scales of the most annoying noises to exist on the planet!

Hey sorry for the late response!
Just making sure did you make it a .wav file and didn’t make the audio file to short?
And if you named your file something else then you need to rename that note to the file you named it too (without a .wav in it)
So if you named it t.wav you would rename a note to just “t”

this is odd, since my chromatics usually start from c3. can you edit the template?
Yes you can edit it. If you wanna move it simply do control + a then with your mouse move it to whatever position you want and it should work. If you wanna add more notes you would have to do that manually
i wish i could do it but i cant bc whenever the u comes up in Utau it sound like a lion voicecracking
Then just don’t use the U sample lmao. Chnage the U back to an A or whatever and you’ll be fine

My noises aren't playing at all besides for in the voice bank editor thing?? I saved 2 minutes and 55 seconds of silence and when I select the stuff and press space nothing plays. Helppppp.
Did you name the notes what you named the file? Like say you named a saved a file from audacity as “example.wav.” That would be ONE vowel. You will have to rename a note on UTAU “example” and it will play for one note. So you have to do that with all the other notes depending on the name of the audio file

I used the exact vowels as you, saved it the exact way, followed each and every step and it just didn't work, in any way. I had my samples be at least 7 seconds long each.

@@pinkfirestudios that’s weird… did you like re name the file? Like did you accidentally export them was .mp3 and clicked rename and changed it to a .wav? Because if so then that won’t actually work
