I think the triangles improve it a lot. I'd be interested to see a comparison between the old panels and new triangles since the old panels aren't sold anymore, and I can only get my hands on the new Shapes Triangles.

Theres a product which is basically a remote controlled lever. I'm not sure what the name of it is, but it's used for turning on your coffee machine etc so it can also work for your pc.
It's actually a wake on lan magic packet sent from alexa! Can wake up my PC from dormant state and shut it down etc
@Sherbet Lemon try googling "wake on lan magic packet". it seems kinda complex if you don't have much experience in that kind of stuff.

Iâm not a huge fan of the hexagonâs (circles LOL) tbh but adding the mini triangleâs was a good idea, makes them look a whole lot better.

About the pc power off and on thing, i figured out how to make my computer turn on with my google assistant but how do i make it shutdown? I use IFTTT, Pushbullet and Automagic to do it.

Ah yes the Alexa trick, I went a bit further and connected a universal remote to control my AC, blackout curtains, all the lights around my setup and of course rgb strips and pc. Very much worth it for anyone considering smart devices!

Smart plugs or smart outlet
Probably a wifi power strip
Wake on lan - smart outlet would just cut the power, this method actually sends a magic packet to your PC

I wish it was so easy for me. I got my 10pc mini triangle pack today and whenever I try to connect them to my existing layout of 9 normal triangles they simply stay green and do nothing at all. Even worse, half of my existing layout also switches to green and only 5 of 19 panels actually work. Not sure if I am missing something here ...

Josh how did you make your pc turn on when power is delivered to it? You use smart plug that works with Alexa right?
You can use WOL(wake on Lan) using hass.io, RPC shutdown to power off
You can edit the bios to power on on AC and use a smart socket, but it's quite unpolished and turning it off is a pain, you need to send an RLC shutdown, wait, than turn off the plug. Easiest with hass.io, but boot up can be done without.
Changing all the lights is easiest with hass.io, but you can emulate a Philips hub on your pc and ask Alexa to control smart devices.
If you want to use Hass and wake on Lan, you need emulated hue, wake on Lan, RPC shutdown integrations.

Old triangles don't have touch reactive functionality and they can't be mixed and matched with any other kits. The new ones can be used with hexagons + big/mini triangles ðšïļ

About the Windows keys... my brother said they were made by Windows giving the company a discount because they said it was for a bunch of employees, so after the discount the company sells them but when Windows finds out they revoke it and make it non usable after 1week to a year
Think you're referring to volume licensing keys in which case, yeah - these aren't volume keys though, checked them myself when I bought one!

Ahhh cool they definitely makes the hexagons look cooler I think they're ugly as sin on their own. I still think the original nanoleafs look the slickest.

Nope no power supply with this kit as I mentioned in the video - it's an expansion kit
