Nice video. Actually if you download the mods before you add the games, you won't have to change the command lines manually. Hakchi does it automatically.

yeh that rebooting issue happened to me, too. I had to do it over a second time
got the roms i want to add but what format do they need to be in? all of them work for snes9x but didnt load onto the mini. edit: nvm' it worked the second time i synced the files.

How do i get the roms? From what ive been told, hackchi does not supply the roms. So where and how do i download them.??
Well, this makes me want to get a SNES Classic mini. Just have to find that JDM one with the coloured buttons :)
When I try to add the roms, it only shows one to my New Apps and not even that one works when I try to play it. Do I need to use an SMC File? If so, where can I find one?
I keep trying to install the driver needed to sync SNES with my computer but it’s telling me ‘driver not found’ what can I do?
For the European version, do you just flip the switch on and off?

well they can translate like in google when you search up for something it gives you an option to translate it.
Most people in other developed countries (like Japan) also speak and read English ;0)
As soon as I want to install/repair my kernel it comes up with an error, but my snes has also already been modded byt my original hackchi was deleted from my pc

I know this is an older video, but I just discovered this SNES Classics. There are also SNES look alikes that claim to have 820 games or so, but are 8 bit. Do these have the same internals as the SNES classic? Difference in price is like $65.

hey so iv tried to do this and everytime I'm uploading the kernel and rebooting it it tells me the reboot was too slow and the common issue is a windows firewall well I let it do what ever it asks and it still shows me that its too slow and the common issue is a windows firewall anyone knows what I'm supposed to do or what is wrong

Hello! I was trying to add games to the SNES and I am stuck at the part where I connect the SNES to the computer and the software recognizes it. I followed the instructions of plugging the USB in and hitting reset button and turning power on the releasing reset. You mention the SNES shouldn't turn on however mine does. Any help with what I am doing wrong? thank you so much.

i may have found a fix for you. don't use the USB cable that came with the system because it is setup only for power. instead use a micro USB from the store because this cable has all 4 communication wires were as the one it came with only has 2. let me know if it works 😊

Use the same USB cord and port you used before (or the one that came with your snes works, too)

ok. i have tried to get this program to work about 2 dozen times now and it never recognizes the system. i followed the steps to the t and nothing.
Man, I have retroarch and snes9x 2010 installed and I’ve changed the command line but still cannot get any of the snes games to run on retroarch. The nes, gba and genesis games I’ve added play fine. But I can’t figure out how to make snes games switch from canoe to retroarch.
Did you add --retroarch at the end of the command line? And did you erase canoe from the command line and type in snes10 instead (so it should now read /bin/snes10 /var)?
DeathToTheDictators So I updated to the latest version of retroarch. If you right click on the game in hackchi it now has an option to select which emulator to run the game on and it changes the command line for you. I’m not sure what I was doing wrong before but now I’ve got it working that way. Thanks for the response though.

I added Chrono Trigger, Actraiser, Joe & Mac, Final Fantasy 2, Magic Sword, Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3
I tried it on mind and it didn’t like the hakchi software that much so I figured out to go on the computer and uninstall it from the system and it worked again so I just decided to leave it alone after
I've read and watched SO many tutorials on this, and they all have the same steps. However, for some reason it's not working for me. When I add games, it won't let me add more than one at a time. If I go one by one, once I add the next game it replaces the previous game. Would anyone have any idea why? I found an old Reddit thread on this issue, but none of the answers were helpful.
Try another USB cable. They are no all the same. It work for me.

After downloading hackchi, it made me download this program called WinZip, and now that program has corrupted all files on my pc. For example, I can't open any word document files...How can I fix this??? I need help Please!
just uninstall the winzip maybe that let your pc to go back to the original file

Hello, i love this channel and your dedication towards retro gaming. Just wanted to ask you or anyone who is looking at this post; that since past couple of months i am trying to find out one old NES type soccer game which is more like anime style gaming where we play as a protagonist and regarding the gameplay there is only one player displayed on screen while dribbling the ball and the players can shoot the ball with super powers like in Shaolin Soccer.... If the power is op then the keeper fly away like an airplane and the goalpost net is destroyed and so on..... I used to play this game when i was a kid and now i am 33. I am quite sure that lot of other players played this game as well and it would be a great appreciation if anyone tells me the name of this game. I am really desperate right now..😫😫😔😔.. ( Note::: It is not GOAL franchise, which has also super power shootings like in cartoons..) Thank you in advance.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

After much debate I ended up buying an original 90's SNES console. Although the SNES Classic is compact & has plenty of games, I wanted the real deal! My son and I have been playing Mortal Kombat 2, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Street Fighter 2 & a few more. Maybe I'll buy a classic sometime in the near future but nothing beats the original!

I added the entire SNES collection to my SNES classic *with an adapter and a 64 GB flash drive.
I did one up this week and put in English translated Japanese games...wow...this console has legs

@@1169218923 for the snesclassic its very simple just Google it. I won't post the link but you'd have to put it back on the original kernel then factory reset.
@@pgaven9396 The kernel is supposedly in the dump folder, but my hakchi folder doesn't have one🤷♂️. I noticed YSN doesn't have one in this video either, and he's also on hackchi 3.5.2 like me.

Bro made an almost 8 minute video and he didn't show you??! You add them with the Hackachi program, and at the bottom it has a big button that says "ADD GAMES". Try that. Hope this helps!

Rom hacks of games you like, if you like mega man x then you can get mega man x2 and x3
