There’s always been something about the world of Gears that enraptured me since the first Gears game. Getting to know these characters, seeing new sites, fighting a diverse set of enemies, learning more about the worlds lore and (at a relatively young age) learning about the true horrors of war here than any other peace of medium did. It’s a little sad really cause I feel like the more recent games from a story and character perspective has gone a bit downhill. I feel like they’re trying to make social statements that try to reflect today’s world with the humans of Sera constantly at each other’s throats rather than what it was in the first 3 Gears games and that was having all the humans of Sera sharing the common collective idea of fighting and ending a horrific never ending war, and then going deep into the trials and errors of that. Yes, in the first 3 games the humans did have their arguments their bickering and sparks of angers towards one another, but they would always go back to the bottom line and that was ending the war against the locust horde. At least that’s just me. Love this series. Gears 2 still has the best campaign, it truly felt like an epic, large scale war.
Personally myself id say given the content, provided you can get through the open world part, that gears 5 is best, closely followed by 3... i forgot gears 2s campaign and everything in it bar skorge and his saw-staff lol

I played it every so often with my older brother but it wasn't until Gears 2 wen my gears career had officially began. Now at 25 years old gears still runs strong in my blood regardless of the franchises ups and downs.
Dom was a true friend to the end he was always there for Marcus and Marcus was always there for him, I wish he lived longer so he could be in Gears of war 4 or 5...
I feel like Gears is the progression Contra should have taken. I love Gears as it was the first game I picked up after I stopped playing games in 2000 and started to college. Every time I play it i can’t help but think, “I wish Contra would have done it first but this is amazing!”

Me and my cousin played all the gears together. Except for the 5th. Because it just didn’t feel the same after doms death. When we first played it we both were in tears. We were pretty young, but it made for great memories before we aged and gained responsibilities. We still game to this day. Just not as often. I hope that we can still play till we’re old.

I don't think you get a choice sadly they are both destined to pass away no matter how much I tried I couldn't save carmine and Dom was a cutscene so we couldn't do anything about it rip to fallen gears ⚙️⚙️

They changed Anya too much in the ultimate edition. And when Raam killed Kim they took the emphasis off of the stab doing it almost off screen it just doesn’t hit the same as it did in the original

What a great video, with how Gears of War makes their games, which is beautifully by the way, this feels like an actual movie that has good plot lines & senes you can fully follow the story.
