- when seeing these trains i should be thinking wow. we are finally catching up with the rest of the world when it comes to high speed train servies. yet still we are stuck in the dark ages with these limited to speeds equal to the Class 390 Pendolino that entered service at the start of the millenium. they look amazing though thats just hope they can become High Speed :)

Even though there cannot be any complaint about japanese quality or even the beauty of "Javelins", I would have loved to see new British-made high speed trains
The hs2 trains will go at least 225mph, which will be great. I don't think these trains need to be really fast, obviously it would be good if they were. However this train isn't serving any huge and major destination. The trains have a great modern look to them.
wow, when i go to Faversham Station i see A LOT of 395 and sometimes trainbow (395 012)
They come in everyday it does not matter unless it first service for these trains or you trainspotting which you are not doing

These HS1 are based on Model 800 "Kyushu-Shinkansen" + Urban Express Model 883 in JR Kyushu by Hitachi made.

They look so plain now without the 10 yeah stickers and the rainbow etc on them
Hopefully once the GWML is fitted with the new ERTMS signalling system around 2019 the line speed in parts can be raised to 140mph which should help to bring us somewhat closer to high speed running but I think we still have a long way to go.
Hopefully HS2 will be built and these nimbys will be told to just shut it

イギリスの電車はどれもカラフルでステンレスをもろに出している日本のそれとは大違いで大好きです。
スピードも速く、保線も完ぺき、ジョイントだらけで歪みや畝りだらけの日本線路とはレベルの違を感じさせられます。
クラス800も期待大ですね。でも命名あすま号にはまいった。
