Great video! Very detailed on explaining why you selected each card. I've been playing Chane at Armory events since release and have to agree with your initial assessment on Eclipse. Aggro Chane just seems better. A few things that I found to work really well: First is Heavy Armor. Bloodsheath Skeleta and Ironrot Legs are the only differences I have on default starting armor. This helps against Dominate/Intimidate/Boltyn and also keeps extra card equity in hand. After a few turns in most games I find this to be key. Being able to pay for most/all cards banished is super important to manage blood debt. Second is Low Curve. This is where I think Aggro Chane has the advantage over Eclipse. Red cards like Scar for a Scar, Arcanic Crackle, and Read the Runes are 0's that the Eclipse deck can't afford to play. Playing those 0's has a real deckbuilding cost too. For example, Command & Conquer was a card I wanted to play because it does a LOT. It cuts opponents off cards, deals with Mentors if relevant, and is a counter to some heroes like Azalea and Prism. But pitching 2 for it instead of blood debt cards I found to lead to poor blood debt management and low impact turns. Last is Damage Type. Being able to attack and also present arcane damage creates a problem for opponents. Do they pitch for arcane barrier AND block? It's likely in the early game they just take it all, or you might get an armor piece. Sidenote: Aggro Chane uses combat tricks like Razor Reflex really well. In addition to go again it can push through an attack after Mauvrion Skies, Shadow Puppetry, or even pumping Galaxxi Black for VALUE. Thanks for listening to this TED Talk. Obviously two very different decks. You're build seems solid and I hope to maybe see some follow up builds on what changes you've made or what seems to work/not work. Congrats sir. You've earned yourself a like and a new sub.
Thank you for the really detailed comment! My personal Chane list may evolve into a straight aggro build over time but I'm hell-bent on summoning Ursur as much as a I can right now 💀 Skeleta is a really interesting choice! I immediately discounted it because Runechants don't stack up very much compared to Viserai but I suppose just getting a cost reduction of 2-3 is good enough with the addition of the higher block amount. How often do you actually use it's ability as opposed to blocking it out? Thanks again for the comment and welcome to the Rogue's Gallery!
@@RedZoneRogue I literally never use the ability. It's purpose is only to block 3 damage. Matches against Brute/ShadowBrute/Illusionist usually Husk is better, so it's sided in. It's too early to definitively determine Eclipse vs Aggro. Ursur is dope though. Whether Eclipse is played or not changes nothing about Chane players. We've all signed the demonic pact. The debt will be paid in blood, and paid in full.
Great video, I’ve built a pretty similar list to this. I’ve really like ebon fold for the head though. I use it to store my eclipse in the banished zone if I draw it early and if I dont need that it’s 1 resource to draw a card on the combo turn
I actually had Ebon Fold in my list for a while but found that I needed the block more (maybe my playgroup is just super aggressive). I definitely think it's a viable option!
Really cool deck, would love to include eclipse on my current Chane deck. One little correction, mauvrion skies would not work on ghostly visit, as it is just a shadow card, not a shadow runeblade.
Also I would suggest removing invert existence from blitz, as there is not a side deck, and in quite a few matchups you cannot activate it and if you banish it it will kill you slowly and you won't be able to do anything about it
You can actually still play Invert Existence even with no targets since it says "Up to 2" meaning you can choose 0. It wouldn't do any damage but at least you won't take that blood debt! It's definitely worth thinking about swapping it depending on the meta though!
I had to copy this deck man. K dont see any other better way of playing chane! He’s so sick! 120% my fav hero or should i villain ? Ahaha but play a game running this deck i think eclipse is also a must have!
Great video as always! Quick question - what are the cases called that your cold foils are in? They look way better than top loaders! Also, are they tournament legal? Thanks!
They are ProMold 20pt magnetic cases! They were tournament legal for a long time but we're waiting to get official word after Monarch since cards in the graveyard matter now (mostly with Levia though)
Great vid man but quick question why are some of your cards on the map in like plastic casing are they super expensive or do you just like putting your armor and weapons in cool casing. So they stand out from your deck
Kinda both haha theyre all cold foil and pretty expensive, however you can use rainbow foil versions that are WAY cheaper or even some budget options like I mention in the video :) also welcome to FAB!!
It was sent to me by LSS for helping with the Monarch preview season (I have a whole video about it!) You could also win them in the Monarch prerelease!
I typically try to feature very optimized decks since a few other channels focus exclusively on budget builds (like Rayvwen and the official FAB channel) but if enough folks want I can do a few budget litsts! I think you can definitely make a really solid deck under $200 (in fact it's pretty easy to tweak this list to fit that budget - just cut the legendaries and a few majestics for some solid commons like Scar for a Scar and Razor Reflex - make it into a full aggro build)
I really really like this type of video where I can see the details of card mechanics. It gets me more interested in FAB than any other videos.
Yo I really appreciate the feedback! Deck techs don't typically do as well as other types of videos but I still think they're worth it 😀

Awesome video m8! Been waiting for a 'walkthrough' like this for awhile
Cheers! I definitely have more to come - one for each of the new Monarch heroes and more as I build and upgrade decks!
I’m super new to fab and I just wanna say thanks for making all this great content! Thank you for the deck tech!
Cheers and thank you for watching! 😁
Great to see the deck tech. I have been waiting for this since you opened Eclipse :) Art of War is so nuts in Chane.
Art of War in Chane is the most busted feeling a card has ever been for me in FAB 😅 the value is just so good

I just bought an eclipse while it's pretty cheap. Thanks for sharing the sweet list!!
Yo I'm glad you were able to pick one up! I have a feeling that right now is the bottom for a lot of these cards in the long run
Excellent breakdown! Kudos!
Glad you liked it! Good to see folks digging the deck techs!

Would be interested in a follow up video showing the deck in action! Curious on how hard/easy would it be to summon Ursur in Blitz 😆
This might just happen! 👀

@@RedZoneRogue thanks for the welcome man Your vid was the one that introduced me to the game lol I think it was one about best tcg rn
Awesome content like always! :)
Thank you! Much appreciated :D
Loved this viseo
REALLY glad folks like this sort of video :D
If those are purple Dragon Shield mattes I have my Chane Blitz deck in the exact same sleeves, lol.
The exact ones! I usually go for Dragon Shield Matte Black but I felt purple was a good choice for Chane
I have by viserai cards in purple and planned to do same for chane lol
Good job👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Where did you get the eclipse playmat?
It was sent to me by LSS for helping with the Monarch preview season (I have a whole video about it!) You could also win them in the Monarch prerelease!
got alpha wtr box for 3k nows time to buy
Oh dude that's not bad at all
Does this deck still work without seeds?
Chane is still really good but it's quite a different deck - I haven't built one yet though
Could you make some decks under $200?
