Hey man, stoked to see the game taking hold as it deserves. I’m also outta Oregon, only small town eastern Oregon, with no lgs available. Probably Bend being the closest still open. Hoping to be able to build a small community out here in the sticks with my other wild land firefighting nerds. Just gotta keep grinding on availability so I can spread the awesome. Plz keep up the deck techs they are super helpful when explaining how these characters work to newcomers.
Great deck tech video man! Yeah I really enjoyed seeing Nick Holding play the Kano Blitz deck in the Blitz-a-thon. It really showed that he had mastered that class by playing it so much since his turns were pretty fast and he knew what to do with his hand in each case. It's a really cool deck to see in action. Its cool hearing your perspective on the cards.
Yeah for sure! I'm decent at piloting this deck (Warrior and Runeblade are my "mains") but his turns were so fast! I feel like I have to tank 50% of the time haha
It's definitely worth it if you're looking for something different! I've been playtesting it with my GF against a few other classes and it's always so interesting swapping to Wizard after playing Warrior and Mechanologist!
So I am pretty new to this game and I wonder if it is worth to double sleeve every Card in my Deck. I came over from Magic where I just double sleeved just the big cards that are worth some money, so I wonder if it is better for a new rising game like this to sleeve up every card in my deck or just the ones that are probably worth something at a point in time. Would be awesome if someone could give me some tips on that topic. ^^ Also I have to say I am happy for this channel to exist, so many people can see and check out this awesome game. I hope if everything gets all right after this covid thing we can finally play so events at our local gamestores. ^^
First of all - thank you! Secondly, if you wanted to compete in organized play your deck would have to be either all single sleeved or all double sleeved - having a mix of the two counts as marked cards. Personally I think it's worth it! I like keeping my cards it good condition and there's a very robust secondary market for FAB already!

How do you feel about Kano in the constructed format? I struggle with him, Viserai and Azalea which sucks because Viserai and Azalea are my 2 favourite heroes :(
Kano is good but really really hard to play. He has yet to make any breakout competitive numbers but there's definite potential. In fact, Matt Rodgers the current #1 player believes that every class is really well balanced and suited to be top tier.....except Azalea D:
Nice deck but biggest issue of Kano are his 15 life and lack of defense, which make him really hard to play. You can lose the game pretty easy to a big swing of bravo, rhinar or viserai if enough runechant tokens are stacked. I would classify Kano tier 3 besides Azalea - sadly. Tier 1 is still Dash and Dorinthea in my opinion.
Can someone clarify something for me - If I kano and use the eye of ophidia to pitch the 3 resources needed, does the opt effect from the eye happen before the kano ability?
I always thought MTG decks were expensive... but when I look at the prices for FAB decks and some "essential" singles.... oh boy... I mean, nice deck in the vid, but not really affordable.
Just make sure you're looking at the unlimited versions of cards since they're drastically cheaper. Cards from CRU are rough right now but an unlimited print should help a lot

I like the generic sword on him for blitz personally
I definitely run it as part of my equipment package but I never end up using it, that extra damage on key spells like Sonic Boom is so sweet
