I am chomping on the bit for my boxes just to build this class deck. I love everything regarding the class both the base and light talent. Haven't been this hyped since Guardian.
Everybody's favorite new hero: Cha... oh, um, Prism! But seriously, great tech. Luminaris seems so incredibly op from gameplays I've seen so far. Considering how cheap her attacks can be, doing two big swings in a turn can be devastating. Pitch Y, Phantasmify, Command and Conquer, go again, Cataclysm. Ouch. I think Bravo will be well positioned in this new meta. At least I hope so since he's my main man lol.
New to the game. I've had a question I cannot find an answer to. If you have extra action point because you've over pitched, are you able to play another action card after the first link and/or chain (on the same turn)? Also, if yes, are you able to pitch again so as long as you have an action point and extra cards after the first link or chain? Or does it have to have "go again"? I've interpreted go again as, '+1 action point at end of link'. Also, cannot find your discord link, maybe I'm blind. Thanks for the video :). Me and my partner dived into the blitz decks as a starting point.
You only get 1 action point in each of your turns, unless you have go again which gives you another point to play "Action cards", pitching is a completely different thing, it is the resources to cast different cards, if you over pitch to pay a cost it it simply goes away if you didnt use that point
@@NooBHunterXP Thank you, I didn't realize that action points were different from resource points. So you can chain actions so as long as you have multiple action points after links but pitching only gives resource points. (i.e. my hooves of the shadowbeast gives me one action point so after I resolve damage I have the option to play another action card, but pitched cards only supply resource points to pay for the action) Think I got it now.
Ive got a similar build going that ive been working on with my wife. Are you finding spears to be worth it? I felt like the other heralds were better value when you're pitching yellow and getting go again anyway.
The main bonus of spears are that they only cost 1 and can be played with go again off of a red pitch or tunic. 1 cost attacks are super important for playing 2 in a turn
I don't know if this is an appropriate place to ask questions about the rules, but I'm dying to know how the damage prevention from shields works. I had a game vs Levia where I had Merciful retribution and ode to wrath on the board, one spectral shield and was at 1 and Levia was at 2. On her turn Levia goes for the kill with 7 damage attack with dominate. When and how does the replacement effect of the spectral shield happen? Do I kill Levia with retribtution before she kills me? Does she win on the spot and the prevention never happens? Is it a draw because all things happen simultaneously?
Hmm I think it all happens at the same time but I'm not 100% and there's a chance that the Prism player wins. There's a FAB rules/judge Facebook group - you should ask this there! You'll get an official answer!
All the damage happens at the same time. So basically everything should happen at the same time, since Spectral Shield automatically prevents a damage and gets destroyed. Should be a tie, but it could also be about the active player (probably the attacker) deciding what happens first. But I would vote for the first of those scenarios.
How about Remembrance for some spice :) Just a big proponent of this card for the shuffle effect and the avoidance of fatigue in aggro. Pitches for 2... Always worth remembering...... I'll see myself out.
Is there any follow up you could do on this deck with changes you have made? I personally found that the celestial Cataclysm wasn’t A card I wanted to utilize because I can never get enough cards into the heroes soul even using this exact exact build.
I haven't had too much of a problem getting cards into the Soul since most of the attack actions do that when they hit (unless you're playing against Brute or Guardian). I have changed the deck a bit however to include Genesis and a few more Spectral Shield cards like Prismatic Shield yellow and Aura cards such as Parable of Humility and Merciful Retribution.
Cheers! I'm not sure what the current best is right now, the meta is shifting around after Monarch launched. I think Ira is still really good - Chane and Prism have to be up there too
@@RedZoneRogue Haha, played this deck on a tournament today. Should've played it a little bit more before entering an armory event so I lost against Warrior and Guardian and got a tie against Ira. Guardian is REALLY hard.
@@erikstahlberg407 Yeah Brute and Guardian kinda hard-counter the deck. I've found one of the best strategies is to just block everything and try to set up a turn where you can just go huge with Dream Weavers + Phantasmify. Adding more Spectral Shield generators can help too (like Genesis)
@@RedZoneRogue Yeah. Especially Bravo's dominate ability was hard to get around. I heard some whispers about allowing a small sideboard in Blitz. That would've been amazing for this deck!
@@erikstahlberg407 Where did you heared about this? I really think that a sideboard should be introduced for Blitz. I get that they wanted it to be a casual and fast format but a lot of people enjoy playing it and are doing Blitz tournaments. Blitz decks being 40 cards makes it really hard to be flexible in any way.
Nice deck, but it would get easly rekt by Brute or Guardian. Made already that experience...^^ I tried a little bit various version adding cards like: Exude Confidence Blinding Beam Prismatic Shield Genesis Art of War (fits overall pretty good in a Luminaris Prism deck) If you face Brute or Guardian it's better to create tokens and attack with your auras instead to use Illusionist attack action cards. Because they always will have a card in hand with 6 or more attack every turn. Also cards like "Rally The Rearguard" are extremly good vs. Bravo's dominate hero ability.
i have been playing my shadow brute against prism in tournaments and have been consistently beating them. however they didnt have phastasmal footsteps, i believe it would be a very different game if they do
You lose every single time to brute decks though. Suggest running all the triumphs and some of the light cards to even that out. Take judgment out dude..too situational for blitz

Both Bravo and Brute does VERY well against decks like this
Love the cold foils 😍 What type and point size are those magnetic card holder cases?
Pro Mold 12 pt I think!

Remembrance is VERY spicy! I really like it in the deck, especially against 6 attack decks
Love the angel art!
So i saw that you opened the game domham .... A while back. If you had to choose. What company would you publish your own tcg from?
Honestly it really depends! Carta Mundi is the industry standard but I'm not sure I'd be able to afford something like that

Any suggestions for Celestial Cataclysm and C&C replacements? Spent all the money on the Footsteps 🙄
Hmm, if you don't already have Enlighted Strikes you can just go for some of the red pitch angels or Chimera!
This build looks pretty strong, Luminaris feels like a must have to play most Prism builds, good thing my case shone the light of Sol on me.
This deck is VERY strong against some classes and kinda gets dumpstered by Brute and Guardian 😅
