GlowShift | How To Install A Diesel Gauge Package Into Your 08-10 Ford Super Duty

This Power Stroke gauge package features a Diesel Boost Gauge, EGT Pyrometer Gauge and a Transmission Temperature Gauge. Also included with this package is a Super Duty Pillar Gauge Pod created specifically for the factory A-pillar of any 2008-2010 6.4L Ford Super Duty. We went with this set of Super Duty gauges based on feedback from our Tech Team, who recommended these gauges and pod as the optimal fit for the 08-10 6.4L Power Stroke.
We start by installing all three gauge sensors. The first step is drilling a hole in the intake manifold and securing the Boost Gauge Adapter into the hole. Then we insert the Boost Line into this Boost Line Fitting and secure it. We install the EGT Probe by drilling into the driver’s side exhaust manifold and securing the EGT Probe Sensor Adapter. Once the adapter is in place we thread in the probe. For the Trans Temp Gauge’s Electronic Transmission Temperature Sensor, we remove the Transmission Test Port Plug and place the sensor into the transmission.
Once all of the sensors have been installed, the sensor wires are run to the driver’s side firewall, keeping clear of any moving parts, and then into the truck’s cabin. After adding all three gauges to the Gray Triple Pillar Super Duty Gauge Pod, we proceed to install the pod which mounts to the factory A-pillar. This video will walk you through every detail of the process step-by-step and provide a complete breakdown of everything needed to install our Super Duty gauges and pod.
