Marques I have a tip.. if you want to look at your monitor, place it under the lens. That way when you look at the monitor it doesn't distract us as much. Like in a conversation, you notice when someone looks at your hair and then in the eye again, but you don't when they look at your nose of mouth. Try it! It really works! Recently I did watched 144p video for 3 straight hours via 2g net. it was live sports telecast. Sometimes the curiosity of whatching the content that we love worth more than its resolution otherwise I get bored watching short 4k video.
Akshay Mahajan You know 4K is just unnecessary even on laptop if you don't edit videos or pics. There's no very big difference when you watch vida on small displays. When you have big TVs it's actually kinda cool to have 4K tho

i think looking at the camera monitor and then back to the camera is completely normal , as you say , for framing, context , reflection and such, it shows that you are aware of these things. MKBHD has always been about quality videos and quality content.

Checked the video, for a 'first time' doing this, that's some amazing camerawork. Sound is great too. It does show you're not quite used to outside natural light shots yet, it's a tad pale/bright every now and then but hey, it's a very cool commercial indeed.
