Well presented, and based on general life observations both in the Kingdom and in the Western world......all encompassing without too much detail, a great intro for those who fancy retiring or living in Thalland.....................
I Retired and have lived here for 10 years and I think I could give you 100 reason to retire to Thailand and in particular Chiang Rai the Heaven of the North. GT

Good video. Mind if I ask the name of the dental surgeon in Siam Paragon? I need major work done as well and have been quoted a ridiculous amount in UK. I’m back in Thailand in middle of May and have 3-days in Bangkok initially so might go and have a chat with them.
@@thailandwithalex Brilliant, thanks. I was recommended another one called Edelweiss but discovered it wasn’t terribly central. I stay Sukhumvit Soi11 whenever I am in Bangkok so Paragon is basically 5-minutes away on the BTS 😂
Hey Scott, going to have a video of Bang Saray coming up...also a true cost of living video. As for your budget, it sounds great, but it's going to depend on your lifestyle.

I made friends with 7 Thais who studied at my university. Such great people….. and I love many of the Thai dishes, great people and good food.
Thanks for sharing Alex!

Thank you and good luck 👍🍀😁
It’s clean enough to swim in but it’s sorta murky. Definitely not a beautiful turquoise like Boracay or something.

If you are a Brit and thinking of retiring to Thailand, beware, you will not receive your annual state pension increase..
Yes, everyone should check pension requirements/issues before considering retiring overseas

They now tax any money you bring in if you stay in the country for more than 180 days. Any comments on that?
I'll leave tax matters to Thai tax experts. Details have been thin

its not as simple as you msake it seem. For most retirees on a pension, the new law being enforced won't effect them.
I can't justify buying $50 shirts.
I have 3... but when you stink like I do, it's worth saving on the embarrassment.
