- The long awaited helmet from Unit 1 is finally here! I've been a super early bird backer and it finally paid off. Coming from a person who never wears helmets, this is actually very pleasing to have. To start off this pairs with your phone and is customizable. From Battery save mode to Performance mode you can chose a preset from start, if not you can customize at your own will. We are talking about the LEDs and front Lights. Best part is that this has a tracking feature incase you fall down or get hurt in anyway this will detect and alert your emergency calls right away.

Absolutely!! This is my first time ever owning a helmet so I guess you can see where I’m coming from if I ended up getting this lol I did manage to use this for about a week and found out even more features so it’s pretty cool how much you can customize from the app.
I cant decide between these two colors i already own a black lumos matrix so maybe grey on this idk
Oh man! That’s a tough decision still. I absolutely love the black one, goes with everything, BUT the grey one is really nice. I wish I could help you decide but go with what you think is best here.
UK... Drivers don't notice the indicator from the cyclist helmet as they dont pay attention to it, they expect the more visible impossible to miss arm signal thats noticed from all direction. The front white-only indicator effect is pointless could had used a bright flashing AMBER.
in the evening they will notice it, trust me!
@@ranx65 Iv'e tested it for a week between London Streatham to C.London.. as its not common (rare) so Not every driver picked up on the signals.
@@EveLord-hx1me You may be right for UK drivers, here in Italy everybody looks at you as if you have a UFO on your head!
But in my opinion the lights are not the most important flaw, I've watched quite a few reviews on TH-cam, no one is checking the fall detection feature. It's not so difficult to test it: a strong slap with your hand on the helmet and the function on the app is engaged, after one minute it says °message sent° but… surprise! No SMS received by the emergency contact… this is a mayor flaw of the app!

Is it always like a Christmas tree ? Or can I use only the two led strips and just turn on the screen as turn signal? How I explain myself haha

Your able to customize it the way you want it.
Not sure why you would want to use your screen as a turn signal but I’m sure you can be creative and come up with something that best fits you.
Is it me or the gray one is brighter?
I believe it’s just the camera, in person they both do look exactly the same.
I just ordered mine, but how can you warm your ears in the winter?
Are you currently using a helmet with something?
@@chrisonaguilar I just started commuting last month with my Stromer ST3 and didn't have to use anything to warm my face/ears for now. But...Winter is coming!
@@YouCanCallMeMich absolutely! Well I still find enough space to use a beanie or face mask while using this. I still haven’t experienced riding during the winter yet but you can definitely use gear underneath the helmet

@@chrisonaguilar Thank u, But are they still in business? I have already checked that site out but didn't see any physical address for the business nor a customer service ph number... I also scoured the internet for hours but couldn't find anything & called many bike shops that have never heard of the "Faro" bike helmet.

@@ghstwoman they barely dropped these helmets, I actually ordered these about two years ago on Kickstarter, they had such a huge delay on getting these approved and shipped. All I know is that the company is called Unit 1 but honestly have no clue if you can even order them through Kickstarter anymore. If the link doesn’t work I’m not entirely sure what’s the best way to contact them.

You mention 4 clicks for Soft reset. Then talk about the Hard reset and neglect to say that requires 8 clicks.
