i have info cards disabled, so it always gives me a good laugh when youtubers point to, or in this case, "hold" one in their palm haha

The only thing holding me back from ordering this helmet is that the front light doesn't offer a front blinker for on coming traffic

It does though! Go back to the video :)

@GadgetsGearCoffee Are they working front blinkers or is it just a display light? Thank you for responding.

it's in the video, you'll need to scrub through to find it I can't recall exactly where, it blinks @@jimg6743

if you do end up getting, do report back with your experience! and also consider the discount code in the description :) the front blinker tbh may not signal to all cars that you want to turn though, they aren't used to it and don't necessarily look at cyclists to understand their biking patterns, I find in general eye contact and moving my bike in that direction help and gauging if the car is letting me go or not @@jimg6743

Safety and Style are actually in some ways contradictory, put yourself in the mind of 21 year old motorist or 85 year old motorist, neither of them have enough
driving experience or skill sets to appreciate what the message the complicated Christmas Tree effect is having in those split seconds on busy city streets. To be blunt, a lot of the decisions bicycle riders are making with these safety lighting systems, are actually putting themselves at more at risk. Their is an ideal way to convey the right safety lighting message to the public,
but sadly the ''style'' over substance choices isn't appreciated in real world road conditions, (especially at night)

Did you watch the entire video? I did address a lot of these things. At night, unlikely they'll see your hand when you're trying to turn, so the idea is do what works best for visibility. Day time: hand signals. Night: lights.

Light on a car = visibility. Lights on a humanoid shaped object = visibility. It is a proven science.
