I see so many positive statements, here, and thought I’d share my take: most people don’t have this clarity. To your questionnaire: 1. Yes 2. No 3. Unsure. 4. Unsure. My closest friends are those that are clear. The big difference, I find, is our families of origin and our wiring, which I’ve tried to change in many constructive ways, and have failed. I am now at the far end of middle age, and feel thoroughly exhausted by life’s vicisitudes.
Hi M. I completely agree with you. I do see the trend that our origins as well as trauma throughout life is what makes some journeys more clear and some more blurry. It's extremely challenging to go through pain and loss and the more one does, the stronger the resolve has to be on the other end of the stick. But sometimes it's just painful. I address this in my book and it's likely too long for a YT post but I wanted to validate your experience as it's truth. Nevertheless, wishing you blessings going forward, the courage to keep going and looking for light and the ability to look away from the darkness once it becomes past. Presence. Awareness. Love. Wishing you all the best.

As a middle class female with 2 children who can't afford to work or study due to exorbitant childcare costs, I actually probably should have finished grad school instead of dropping out halfway through to follow my passions of moving countries and having children in my youth. This advice really only applies to privileged males. Who the heck fed & took care of his children while this guy studied and meditated for 10 years?
If you have the money to afford a computer and internet access and the time to watch this video and write this comment while having two children, you're incredibly privileged compared to most other people on this planet. You chose to have kids and to move countries and to follow your passions and you still ended up middle class. Why are you complaining and making sexist remarks? What would going to grad school have gotten you? Why do you want to work or study instead of taking care of your children? And if you do really want to work or study, I'm sure you can figure out a way to do that.
@@borisjoffe I didn't say I wasn't privileged. I followed my passion to move for love and to have children, but didn't understand at the time that by dropping out of school I wouldn't be able to afford to work for so many years. This is because my husband makes such a decent wage that we don't get enough childcare subsidy to pay for 2 kids in daycare, and it would therefore cost us money for me to go to work. I love taking care of my children full time and am lucky to be able to do so, but it is also mind numbingly boring much of the time, and I am quite isolated due to moving, and Covid, and taking care of children, and I worry every day about not having a safety net if something were to happen to my husband, as well as not contributing to my super (Australian retirement funds). I realise it's incredible privilege to have the luxury of worrying about these things in the first place. It is simply why the advice in this video did not resonate with me at all. 🤷♀️
@@lexiwalker7207 Well it sounds like you have a pretty awesome life then, and that a hobby and/or at-home side business and a life insurance policy on your husband would make things even better. Regarding covid, Australian covid policies sound absolutely barbaric. I would move out if I were able to (I recently moved myself due to insane covid policies being implemented in the region I lived in), although I understand that your husband may not be able to due to work. Hopefully with omicron being so transmissible and so mild, things will get better in Australia. Also, there are many women who put their career first and are now too old to find a husband or start a family. Your current situation might not be pleasant, but in the grand scheme of things, might have been way better than staying in school.
just change your outlook! Ok pal. Sure Ok. My family died. All of them. I cared for my crippled mom who was in a wheelchair and Iingering in pain from my age 22-33 Then gvt tried to make my house. After she died on birthday and then my woman left me

I’d love to listen to your band! What was it called??
🙏❤️👍👏
🙏🙏🙏👌
Can anyone tell what is the band that he was in ?
Excellent, but there is probably no one in the universe to support our efforts to be happy. The universe is simply not against our happiness.
what was the name of his band?
Which band was he in?
I cared for my crippled mom who was in a wheelchair and Iingering in pain from my age 22-33
Then gvt tried to make my house.
After she died on birthday and then my woman left me
