    There's another small set of changes from the compendium team that wasn't mentioned - chainswords got an extra attack, and so did the fists on gunners and heavy gunners.

      @@hendrikworung1967 Changes FROM the compendium team, not TO them. In other words, Legionary lists get those extra attacks while Compendium teams do not.

      @@hendrikworung1967 It's not errata for TSM. The Legionary team just has different stats on those weapons.

    The malefic blade on say a khornate plasma gunner could be spicy. Ability to shoot, charge, fight and consolidate.

    Note that 'Perpetual Aggression' part when it says 'following the same rules as a Normal Move action' does not mean 'this counts as Normal Move' but 'when moving this model, you cannot move it through space occupied by another model, when going through obstacles, reduce the distance, cannot move through the walls etc. etc.' (basically everything that is on page 61 of the core rules). What makes me think that? The phrase 'following the same rules as a Normal Move action' is... part of the description of the Charge, Dash, Fallback too. If just having this phrase in the definition of the action would be synonymous with 'it counts as Normal Move action', it would be impossible to Normal Move and Dash because the Dash would count as a duplicate to Normal Move, isn't it? So if the 'Perpetual Aggression is not an action and does not count as Normal Move (just follows it's rules with some exceptions), it's perfectly fine to e.g. charge, kill, consolidate with it, kill (if you can fight twice), consolidate. I'm 99.9% sure it works that way. What do you think about it?

      You move following the Normal Move rules for moving. You don't care about the rules for who can perform the Normal Move action. You aren't performing any action, and all other movement actions have this same text and don't inherit the action performance restrictions of Normal Move.

    The wording of khorne strat is weird but I'd wager it's a consolidate move so you can kill two guys after one charge. As for until the end of turning point - well it means that any khorne operative can do this

    For Delicious Agony, does it read in such a way that if the first strike puts the enemy in "Injured" territory, THEN you can apply a second attack? If so, it is REALLY good.

      If not, it is hot useless garbage that is only situational against 13 or 18 wound models

    I dunno if this is a thing you get told a lot but your videos are always mixed really quiet - I always have to turn my system volume up when watching your channel and then back down again when I watch anything else.

    There's a handful of annoying, self-defeating rules here, like the writers were afraid legionaries might be too good, so they re-wrote options to make them just bad instead. Eg, the 2+ armor equipment, which costs as much as you might expect for 2+ armor unique equipment, but that might be good so it shuts itself off the first time you take damage. Or the icon losing its unique action for the free cp ability, but that might be good so it doesn't stack with the same ability on your leader, making the icon bearer redundant until your leader dies - in a kill team with so few bodies that if you lose your leader early you might as well forfeit.
    The faction overall doesn't have the bodies, the wounds, the attacks, or most importantly the actions per turning point to compete. If you want an elite themed chaos kill team, you're far better off going with the thousand sons warp coven, imo. Honestly, I'm not sure the extra toys this faction gets, as fun as they are, even make up for the lost cultist option from the compendium version of the same team. I'll still play the legionaries, I'm too thematically committed to my Black Legion not to, but I'm not expecting to win many games with them.

      This did not age super well, with them being one of the strongest and most played factions in the game. Shows how the meta changes though!

    Hey i just wanted to ask wouldnt you take Missile Launcher instead of Heavy Bolter against "horde" armies like Vet Guard or Tau or any 10+ models army tahnks for answer

    You can perpetual aggression after charge. Look at dash. It follows the normal rules for move and then states you can’t do so after charging. No such statement in the perpetual aggression ploy.
