Great report, I thought the Legionaries would struggle after losing their heavy gunner but that melee was brutal. Also hadn't noticed before, but I really like the paint job on that terrain.
Love the narrative style of your KT batreps, I’ve been put off KT because of the competitive stance with the game, will have to relook at this game and see if the local group is interested in a narrative campaign. I’m too busy with life and kids to worry about competitive crap 😂😂
haha that's where i'm at too! I feel I have to really stress "casual" in my intro and outro. I really enjoy the game though. The core game is mechanically sound.
Same. I've recently convinced some of my local group to play a narrative crusade in 40k that we will also include some kill team into as well. I lost the urge to play games competitively some time ago.
Please more kill team this is great ! I love that you sounds like a sports commentator... Awesome models and terrain also I'm building plague marine legionnaires ATM so perfect timing
Really enjoyed that. I’m not a Kill Team player but I could easily follow what was going on through your narrative and videography. I thought that was a good example of still playing to win despite an early loss. Thanks.
I always thought kill team was silly because 40k existed. Throwing tanks I thought was better. UT tbh I've been hooked. It's fun. And has all the depth 10 edition has been lacking.
@@SenseiLlama yeah I said somewhere else the core game is mechanically solid. Plus you can play multiple factions and really explore more of what the game can offer. You can do that with 40K too, but painting a 1500-2000 point army takes so much time.
Well done! I know you’re keeping things WYSIWYG, and that’s why you’re limited on specialist, but I highly recommend you find a way to get the Anointed on the table; going daemon-mode with the Grisly Trophy equipment is demoralizingly strong, and the Implacable Nurgle ploy makes it even better.
super interesting load out for the VetGuard, would love to know the thought process behind running the hardened, bruiser and flamer as they almost universally get rated the worst options? Rule of cool or have you had a different experience with them?
Great video. Thanks! I know there is no Balefire Acolyte cause of recognizability for us viewers. But why leave the best (and most fun) operative at home? I just painted the plague knife and some bells and honrs on one marine with fluorescent green. That´s enough to get the job done and you got yourself the real king of the legionaries. ;) Thanks again for your BatReps. Great paintjob on the teams and the terrain.
I'll see if I can't fix that moving forward. They felt really strong in this one but the Guard hitting on 4s really sucked. The close combat was sure fun to see.
@@MiniatureGameMontage The CC was a lot of fun for sure and the Butcher and Shrivetalon really got heir job done. Blessed by Papa Nurgle himself, breaching through the Vets!
I know its tough with english if its your second language, but reading the things that are written will make it easier for people that are watching to understand. I was confused what Shriveltalon was, until i realised you were talking about the Shrivetalon.
Whoever played guard should have avoided those melee fights at all costs. Can they fire from a window position? Or does it count as a "wall" If they can shoot from there, they should have...
Well it just goes to show that we don’t know much about Kill Team. And it really doesn’t matter what we do, it’s always weird. I love the game and we play it for fun and make a report about it, but it just doesn’t ever live up to viewer’s expectations imo.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Nah-nah, don't get me wrong - it's all good as long as it brings joy and story is pleasant to follow! Its just my view on how i would act as VetIG player - as you say its just a matter of experience:)
How have I not found you sooner, these Batreps for KT are the best out there. Keep up the good work man! Look forward to seeing more from you.
Thanks! 🙂

Thanks! I have a video on it if you ever want to replicate it. It’s very easy.
Love the editing of this video. Happy to watch more of these! Also really cool green color on nurgle. :)
Thanks so much! 😀

The narration makes this so inmersive!!
Gorgeous miniatures! Very stunning on screen!
Thank you! 😊
Like the new editing, particularly the die overlay.

Awesome. I like that you can run them as Legionary or Death Guard. Thank you for watching!
Great seeing this matchup!
7:48 only a Krieg trooper would turn that corner and think i can take these guys XD
Right! We were thinking...this is such a Guard move.

nice shots! love kill team's battle rep
I use an iPhone 14 Pro. Thanks for watching!

Totally rule of cool. I have the models and don’t plan on buying more to run otherwise.
@@MiniatureGameMontage fair call. I reckon you might have had a very different result though with a good demo vet turn 😉😅

Ребят,а можно ссылку на такие же дата карты юнитов,как юниты Death guard
Having 4 additional vet guards = to the support stuff like air strike?? Or I'm wrong, correct me because I'm new amd want yo learn vet guardsman
I ran the other stuff and it just didn’t do it for me. Those extra four guys are 28 wounds of meat. I just like that more personally.
Does anyone have a link to the Data sheet or stats the Legionaries use in this video? I’m so confused as to what you use for them.
Wahapedia bc everything changes so much
@@MiniatureGameMontage thanks.
Can you tell me how the deathguard got 6 inch movement? The newest Erata 1Q2024 on warhammer community shows 2 Circle = 4 inches. I missed something ?
They aren’t Death Guard. They are Chaos Legionary that follow Nurgle.

what green is on the death guard??
Army Painter Speed Paint Malignant Green over a Zenithal prime.

man i love the veteran guardsmen but they just hardly do any damage and die like flies…
Such is the life of a Guardsmen. They had some pretty bad dice rolls to be fair. The lasgun just doesn't get it done against these guys.
at least it’s lore accurate i guess😂
booooooo chaos.
I couldn't get them to die.
