Tyranid warriors can be magnetized. I have three sets, all magnetized.
Can you discard more than one Precience tokens for Portent at the same time? Or is it only one at a time like it says the ability rules? Had a new player argue that he could do it three times as he had three tokens, as they are used one at a time. We ruled that it could be used only once per TP.
I guess the Needler means if someone charges your Ready medic then the medic can respond with his bayonet to focus on parries and potentially score a little bit of damage, then finish them off with the Needler when he activates. It's pretty specific, I'm not sure it needed to be Limited when realistically it's only going to get used once in an emergency anyway.

Heh, actually Mandrakes won latest major tournament in Poland, although guy dodged most of the toughest match ups and played twice against Hierotek. Anyway - i agree there are better candidates for winning tournament. Great video as always!

They keep getting this (great) advice but still can't be bothered. At least a subtitle saying which team they are talking about right now could help - I guess not many people watch the entire thing intensly following what is on the screen and want to fast forward to teams they are interested in. This time I decided not to bother watching.

Yea guaranteed nerf incoming. Unfortunately won't be for like 6 months. But the team has zero downsides. It's so flexible, all the members are just better versions of other teams operatives. Blooded players must be crying.

It's weird to not see Scouts or Gellerpox. It's even stranger to see Hand of the Archon on this list. Yeah sure just outkill your opponent. I think you forgot that they are squishy and positioning with good knowledge of cover/LoS rules is key to win with this kill team.
Started playing as Felgor, won my first 5 games... and the game has only gotten more complicated and challenging as I moved along into other teams.
I want an Agents of Imperium kill team like Eisenhorn with retinue. I'd play the hell out of that.
Should have specified easiest as in most forgiving or simplest to use.

Surprised there was no Gellerpox on the shortlist at least. I think they are pretty straight forward in a manner similar to Felgors as they are melee focused with their 4 beaters plus goons. They are even limited on which guys can do what and allow you to not care much about aspects of the game like gear (and remembering who has what) and help the player internalize the light/heavy cover distinction.
I'd put scouts in this list instead of fellgor.

I really like the Kroot thematically and was playing them for a bit but even when I felt like I was playing well (I’m not a good player) I couldn’t win. Their specialists aren’t good in comparison to other teams and their team ability really doesn’t seem significant enough. I almost think they need like a buff on nearly every operative.
If tournament statistics are bogus let me play brood brothers into you playing intercession 😃 of course the are always pitfalls when using statistics, but that doesn't mean they don't matter, it just means they are tool like any other than can be used well or badly.
I fully agree on what you are saying about stats. It does not tell you about the team!
As someone who uses stats a lot in their day job, hard agree on use of them for balance in a game with a small number of players (particularly at the higher level). Preach brothers!
I don’t think GW intended the Ogryn change to be a nerf to Blooded. To me it seems more like they’re trying to bring it in line rules-wise with things like the Gellerpox Hulks, Torments, or the Patriarch in that operatives with a larger base size cannot receive cover from light terrain. I think that might be a change they’re planning on making for all large operatives moving forward into the new edition

the necron nerf seemed too harsh compared to other ones like felgor and pathfinders. They were good, but not as good as those other ones and had a more severe nerf. Gellerpox was not nerfed also... this is strange
Just a month ago you two talked about how Scouts could use an extra operative "at least, to start"; now talking heads have declared Scouts completely OP. What do you think about this swing? Did they really go from D-tier to S-tier with just one Dataslate?

I confused your Tier- list video with the Talking Point Tactics one; they make remarks about how terrible they view Scouts at around the 40 minute mark in their third video on the subject. That said you and Ryan had them in C-tier, and back in February, during that Tier-list video you said (@ ~50:00): "They can't really win anything, in my eyes." So my quote was wrong, but the sentiment seems pretty similar. Did I misunderstand your assessments, or did they really jump from the bottom 5 teams into the top 5?

If they want to leave intercession as the 'intro team' then make a new spacemarine team like Legionary, make a actual *Killteam* faction, where you can take a roster of different chapters and each comes with their own buffs/skill sets? much like the marks of chaos, just do the big 4? Dark angles, Blood angles, Ultra and Imperial fists and or Black templars They also have Justian as this weird intro simpler to play team so I dont understand why intersession gets ignored, either way im gonna keep playing Nemesis Claw because at least they are elites with some flavour and play
No changes for Justian yet, so sad.
Thank you for an in depth discussion of the new dataslate! Regarding Hierotek Circle changes: Why is there no regard for team flavor or theme when you discuss changes? You say reanimation protocol should be removed or replaced because it's so unreliable. But these are Necrons we are talking about: it's their faction unique thing! So please keep in mind what makes a team special when you recommend changes. These aren't excel spreadsheets we are bashing against each other on the table. It's the sneaky Kommandos trying to take out an Imperial Guard command post. Or the Excaction Squad getting called out for a disturbance that reveals itself to be a Genestealer Cult propaganda meeting. Yes the stats are important, but so is the feel of the game! Thank you again for all the fun content.
My main worry now, this may be our last data slate… this version I hope not

I very much prefer "simple" changes such as + - 1 operative to fix the team, as opposed to weirdly overly complicated fixes like "this operative gains +2hp for every 3.1415 operative your opponent has, but only on weekends from 9am to 5pm. Ignore the 3rd part of the 2nd sentence of the 4th paragraph if your opponent's favourite colour is Sea Breeze."

the problem with the patriarch is it essentially works as two APL 2 activations. given it has no ranged attacks its limited to mainly charge, fight actions. however the 9" total movement restriction really impacts this, as i f you charge the full 8" you can then only charge/move/dash 1" the next activation. which then means you have to try and limit yourself to 4" charges. although a free 0 APL activation to skip a turn might be useful if you did use all 4 APL in one activation. i think he'll be fun to play from time to time, but mainly you'll see primus with the occasional magus for the 5+ invul and no injury, especially against AP heavy teams if i run the patriarch, might be worth the 1/ 2EP to give it a laspistol/ lasgun, to allow a charge, fight, followed by move, shoot

In Ryan's game vs Komandos, i dont think the sneaky git + dynamite throw play works anymore as the sneaky git must be on conceal and cant change order TP1

Ryan, no hard feelings about you oppressing my chaos marines with passed activations, and I'm sorry if any in-game salt may have surfaced. You played that match well and I think your analysis here is spot on. In retrospect I should have just taken that exposed midboard point on T2, eaten the incoming fire and trusted the chaos gods to curse your dice. :)
I think Recon fits for Warpcoven just as well as it fits for Nemesis Claw. But apart from how well it fits, are we really talking about taking away an archetype from a team that you yourself said has a big problem with scoring secondaries? I agree that adding Seek & Destroy would help, and for what it's worth, Warpcoven's tac op archetypes have already changed so it isn't totally out of the question. I also think they could do other stuff to this team that would help immelsely. Giving Rubrics and/or Sorcerers some way to ignore Injured, for example. My biggest ask is taking boons and disciplines off the roster. Part of Warpcoven's problem is that even after all the buffs we still have unfavorable matchups into the majority of the field. Removing boons and disciplines from the roster would vastly improve our matchup spread, but would still be an opportunity to "pick wrong" so the team would become stronger in the hands of skilled pilots without changing much in the hands of less-experienced pilots. Idk, just my thoughts on the matter.

Just heard you talking about kasrkin was thing to fix them get rid of elite points and let them hit on 3s and rifles have lethal 5. I think that would help them alot more and wouldn't be as broken if they had elite points and hitting o 3s
Thanks for the report and discussion. Felgores, even after a year, are still not dialed in. It's a shame the design studio will likely have to spend more of their limited bandwidth doing so, when so many other teams desperately need their attention. (Kasrkin, Warpcoven, etc)
Slight clarification - the NemClaw TacOp to kill models with seven wounds specifies an UNMODIFIED characteristic of 7, which means it would work against Breachers
