@13:45 it's interesting you say as long as the model is in cover, the reference to cover as it appeared in the compendium was removed to simply read "within △ of a terrain feature".
Great chat but you should really add onscreen prompts like, pictures of the Tac Op or a picture of the model, it would improve the overall experience immensely.
Warpcoven may have enough blast and torrent weapons to make diuturnal mantle worth it, but then I would probably do runes of protection instead anyway

I've been playing them since release....they struggle vs any army that can out activate them...the bird ability is a joke....lack of range hurts them....4+ 8 wounds on only 9 guys is also rough tough to score without losing bodies.
How do you identify the Blaster? I can't figure out which one is the Blaster or Shredder.
Are Compendium Commorrites still a viable, competitive choice in light of this release?
I think someone can win with them at a local tourney but I don’t think the team has the tools to win like a Kill Team Open or LVO size event.

Starting kill team with 2 of these, one box and one squad off ebay so I can make a few more female ones.
Can’t you always do a mission action while in engagement range? (Re: 6:40)
It's not in the core rules, but most Tac Op actions (e.g. Triangulate, Signal Beacon) forbid you from doing so in the language of the action. "An operative can perform this action while within of your opponent’s drop zone and not within of enemy operatives." and stuff like that.

nah it is, Tac Op has wording ‘Friendly operatives can perform the following mission action’. same with all Tac Ops that have actions.
Yes it is. Read the tac op - "Perform the following MISSION ACTION"
