@@garylacour ive been in a new range rover. Its nothing special. Plus they typically have a ton more issues than most vehicles. A telluride is just a better option all around.
I have a 2021 Telluride SX, but when we saw the added features of the 2024 SX Prestige X Pro we ordered one in midnight lake blue. Until I started researching new SUVs in 2020, KIA never crossed my mind as a serious option, but it has met or exceeded all of our expectations. I love my SX, but I'm really excited to upgrade to SX Prestige X Pro in a few months!
I love the design for the middle row seats. Kia's idea for the middle row seats is awesome. Also love how there are 3 rear seats for seats at the back.
I just purchased this vehicle with all black ebony paint including the window trim and terracotta leather interior. It came with gray vinyl pin striping which I peeled off as it was not to my liking. I also tinted all the windows dark black which makes it look sleek like a Secret Service vehicle. My next project is to strip the brushed aluminum Telluride badge letters and Kia Badges to make it all blacked out and eventually purchase a black KIA badge when available. Overall, I am very pleased with this vehicle. I also tested it on the beach with depressurized tires and the locked AWD mode. It performs very well for the price and has very luxurious features. I highly recommend this vehicle for those looking for space, options, comfort and off road capabilities. My Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro friend is jealous! 😂
How reliable are these cars. I am stuck deciding between the Grand Highlander,.Honda Pilot and Telluride. Kia telluride ticks all the marks, but would like to get thoughts on reliability. Tired of spending so much in repairs for my current Chrysler.
Always wanted a Telluride. I just purchased a 2024 SX- Prestige Jungle Green X-Pro. I’m getting around 19-20 mpg in the city and I’ve gotten up to 26 mpg on highway. Space is great, power, interior (orange / terracotta). My biggest complaint is no wireless apply CarPlay & the Harman/ Kardan stereo system is horrible. Other than that it’s a great suv.
Have you made any adjustments to the Harmon Kardon? I did and it sounds way better. Turn off the feature that adjusts volume based on speed and that 3d surround sound feature I think it’s called. Then tweak the bass mids treble settings to your type of music. Sounds much better now.
Hows the road noise on those off road tires? I have a set of General Grabber AT/X on my vehicle that were supposed to be "very quiet" but are in reality very noisy and emit a high pitched howl from 30-70 mph.
My 2024 Telluride SX Prestige XPro has ambient lighting... i just traded a MB GLE 350 and Im very impressed with the Kia... slight difference in the ride only... and $35K cheaper with regular gas!!!
I've been on two road trips in it's brother, Hyundai, and it is horrible on not so good roads.. I had trouble keeping with the conversation in the car. I drive a F250 that is far quieter inside and it is old and pretty beat.. no brake controller is bad news for someone like me. :( I also found that I was fighting the steering most of the time. It was not my car to make changes in, so I dealt with it, but I think it can be turned off.... I like the warnings, but not driving in the tire ruts. @@BrosFOURRSpeed
Just bought mine, midnight blue with orange/tan (or whatever color it is) terracotta leather interior. Unfortunately I was high above MSRP but where I live finding a SX prestige X-pro with that color and interior was near impossible, both dealerships near me hadn’t had one in stock for months and ordering one would take 12-18 months before arrival which didn’t work for my timeline…overall I’m excited for it and hope it’s a good investment, I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off.
Kia is not the same vehicle that they were making even 6 or 8 years ago. The Telluride is a nice bang for the buck and if you are like me and had many a German vehicle you would know that 10 years and 100k miles warranty is FN Awesome. I have had a K5, Sportage, Sorrento and am looking at either the EV9 or Telluride. I can recommend some models and not other than the 3 that I have had.. Yes along with the Forte', Stinger and Soul... Rio on the cheap, but is ok.
One of the major disappointments in this SUV is the lack of smaller storage compartments throughout the SUV, when you compare it to the Grand highlander and the Honda Pilot. I would like to see a little more horsepower around the 320-horsepower mark would really be nice. I'll be waiting for the end of this year to purchase a SUV.
2025 cars r coming and whe 2025 cars come and u have the same issue then you'll wait for 2026 cars do u see we can't have what we want its sad cos i want telluride but there r things i want at the price
@@charlesa3505 I hope you get what you want, I'm going to wait for the end of this year, it the Telluride does not have more smaller storage compartments and does not come out with a hybrid max similar to the Toyota Grand Highlander, we will go with the Toyota.
@miketumillo7875 yeah telluride needs a plug in hybrid. Why only give sorento and niro right? Doesnt make sense to me. I mean its nice to have just the gas option cos hybrids can get very expensive later in the vehicles life!! I was also looking at the rivian rs1 looks great
@@charlesa3505 I just don't care for the plug-in hybrid, main reason is once the battery goes on it, they are much more expensive to replace then a non-plug in. If you have solar with battery backup, I guess that would be helpful to have. We have solar but I just didn't want the batterie backup units. Too expensive for something that will not last all that long in my eyes. Toyota has a great history of long-lasting cars and trucks. I really do enjoy our 2019 K900 but nobody makes a trailer hitch for our car. Not even U-Haul, so at the end of the year when prices on the 24 will be lower than we will make our move.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think he's refiring to the average person. And agreeing with you on the statement you said about liking it more than the BMW. no need to get righteous.
I love when ppl call these the "affordable range rovers" when they're actually better than range rovers plus half the price...
It’s a very nice Kia for sure for the money!
I/2 the price...not better though

They really aren’t offroad tires, just have some tread lines on the side wall. Very quiet.
Only thing missing is ambient lighting but this is the perfect suv. Very feature heavy for a reasonable price

What size is the hitch?? Does it have a trailer brake control? Have they done anything to quiet the road noise down???
Should be a 2” hitch, no trailer brake, and not sure the road noise you mean, I thought it was fine and normal.
