- In today's video I want to just update everyone to let you all know that the No Man's Sky ORBITAL 4.6 Update is now available on Nintendo Switch.

I'm glad I found a channel that talk about the switch version of NMS. I have the game on PC, but since I got my switch version I'm only playing this version, since I don't like playing multiplayer. The new update is so sick!

It was difficult to find content on the Switch version of NMS, so I thought I would try.

Still no multi-player yet but damn son they really have turned things around. Hell just got the game this week and I've been enjoying it this update really made things more streamlined

I know what you mean about the old space stations. Hopefully, they will still be available in the game now and then. The Outlaw space stations are still the same inside though...

How sad. After 8 full days and I. The 9th day to get 4.6.0. I am so over it at this point. I lost all the excitement. Especially after some creators and comment from the community. I thought they would back just like xbox but I was mistaken. I appreciate you and will subscribe

recently updated my switch and unfortunately some of my saves i ended up losing a lot of my multi tools including the nintendo switch exclusive Infinite Neon Mark XXII Multi-Tool and i'm in a perpetual saving in progress loop whenever i leave my ship

It's always horrible to loose items and progress in games due to crashes and/or issues 😔
Does your game load and then crash staright away? Are you on a planet, space station or in the nexus?
Hopefully, this issue will be fixed with a patch soon 👍😁

@@QuesterMage on some saves, i am in the space anomaly, i can still move around but as stated before, whenever i board my ship or travel to my freighter, the game softlocks me there and i can't interact with anything, can still move around, it doesn't finish saving
When it soft locks, press the home button and then return to the game. This always fixes the soft locks for me when leaving a ship in a space station.
If you haven't tried this already, I hope it helps 😃
If you are in the anomaly or a freighter, try to warp to a planet. If you warp, then save there. This has helped me loads too 👍😄

Unfortunately, these are issues that the game has which have not been fixed yet 😓
@@QuesterMage i did try that, it just soft locks me in an infinite warp to another location. even if they release a patch for the issue i have, it will not bring back all the stuff i lost, which now includes all the companions i acquired through the expeditions and the companion slots now locked at a 20,000 nanite purchase

It is not fair that you and others are having issues like this. A while ago I mentioned that this game needed a roll-back save file for issues just like this.
Hello Games if you see this comment. Thank you for all the good work you do and for all the content that you make but, issues like what this person has and others need to be fixed. When players loose hundreds of hours of save data, they tend to stop playing your game. In turn leaving a bad impression...

I answered a similar question the other day and the below is what I said and still is what I think 😆
This is a difficult question as it is very subjective... 🤔
Because, I like a game, it does not mean others would. Also, value is dependent on what each person enjoys or expects from a game. Value also depends on each person. Is a game worth $20 or $50? A factor of worth is also based on how much expendable capital each person has.
The other day someone asked me if they should buy NMS. I said no. The reason is that they like space simulators and they enjoy the simulator aspect. They like mining asteroids but not just by pressing one button to do it. They like landing their ship manually... Basically alot of busy work to do simple tasks.
This is not NMS. NMS is a space exploration game which expects you to explore alot and manage resources. This would not fit their gameplay style.
For me, someone who liked NMS since the beginning and had my expectations based low. I enjoyed and still enjoy the game ( more so with each update on Nintendo Switch ). Flying from the planets seamlessly into space never gets old. I also liked the game so much that I dedicated alot of time to also make content for it on TH-cam.
So I would ask what games do you like? Do you enjoy alot of story? Do you like multiplayer games? Do games have to run at 60fps for you? Have you watched some let's plays of the game and think that looks fun to you?
Also, do you like the idea of playing NMS on a handheld?

@@QuesterMage no no what i mean is actually the switch version... my gf want to try this game and she has a switch but man i have this on the pc and i know is very donwgraded i was trying to make her trying the pc version but you know for casual gaming is not an option
Ok 😆, maybe ask to try the Windows version with a controller and the graphics settings set to low/medium and running at 30fps. If this is acceptable then maybe the Switch version might be ok.
Please note that the Switch version is missing features like multiplayer and settlements though.
