Blizzard just had to be difficult and make it one we hadn’t seen before 🤣 juuuuuust different enough in design that they could explain it away behind a “they were asleep for thousands of years” plotline hahahahaha.
I actually really like this idea. This would allow your humanoid form to be whatever race you want, but you fight in your draconic form with draconic abilities.
kicking isn't all that important to rogues except for one maybe two abilities, while for monks it's an important part of their toolkit, not to mention spinning and twirling mid air is hard to imagine to animate for them.
@Murphio I was thinking more they stay grounded and just spin around and whack you with their tails and I wouldn’t think they could be monks so leaving the ground and spinning about really wouldn’t be a problem.
Fun fact about ethereals: only a subset are void alligned, most of them are pure arcane, and we've seen some using Light as well. The void ones are only seen in the Shadowguard/Ethereum (I think), and started off as dark templar-esque void rogues on tbc.
@Antonio AR they where bombarded with Void and Arcane energies for the amusement of a Void Lord and they were only able to block the Void energy in time and their body’s where warped by the Arcane wave so they are actually Arcane beings normally. Actual TDL of their origin story watch Nobles video on it.
@@MrAntAve If the lore didn't change, some ethereals learned a way to make themselves voided after they spent so long obsessing about getting even against Dimensius, the destroyer of their homeworld and a voidlord.
@@aenn1516 they could be scaled down a a little. There are toys in the game that will transform you into a vrykul with the size of an average human. Regardless of their size i think they would be a welcome addition to the game.
Hiru channeling Oprah to all the races: "You get a druid! You get a druid! And YOU get a druid!!" PS: As for Naga mounts, how about a CHARIOT!!! Wouldn't it be awesome to see a Naga warrior whipping some fierce amphibious beast to pull his chariot faster! FASTER!!!
@@romanroyenthusiast he means most SJWs would go up in arms with a Peta thing. Because that would literally be slavery and animal abuse to move their mount.
Yes, please! We already have the frostborn in the Alliance and Taunka in the Horde as well. Doubt they would make yet another dwarf/tauren allied race, so here is to hoping they add them as customization options.
I like the idea of being able to choose my faction like the Pandaren. The idea of having two players controlling a two-headed character would be fun too. Not for a new race for technical reasons, but it could be an interesting pvp activity or something.
"I could see murlocs walking around in Orgrimmar, but not in Stormwind." You can see fish people race walking around the city in a desert, but not the city with water canals?
Tuskarr racial should be when they're in water they can (with 30 min cooldown) summon a turtleship and teleport to any beach in the world on their current planet.
Also, before you start to lose it all over again, make yourself a favor and grab War Crimes. Especially the part where Alextrazsa explicitly says she has no problem with the Horde, because they are not Necros.
dragons would never be an option, the dragonkin dont believe in the petty war of mere mortal kin, the murlocs refuse to grace us with their presence, the tortollan are far to self preservation focused so war is something they'v seen come and go so these races wouldn't work but the rest defo would BUUUT Naga would more likely go horde than alliance for one reason: the night elves unending grudge. the night elves are the main reason the nightborne didn't follow the alliance in the end while the more sympathetic bloodelves and undead were happy to help the nightborne, so i could see the nightborne and blood elves welcoming the naga into the horde because they know what its like to be struggling isolated outcasts. the vrykal would make great alliance additions due to their valor related and idolized backgrounds, hell they were shown in a VERY early patch video for ulduar so thats defo on the table
Man party pooper much. Looking pretty forward to blizzard making dragon kin an option, it would be cool to just be a dragon of your choice of the aspect.
IIRC the Naga have very VERY little respect for the spiritualistic ideals of the Horde and generally see themselves as surperior. Even if they were to ally themselves with a faction and become "good" I doubt very highly they would set aside that pride even if it meant siding with their Nelf cousins. They don't fit the theme of the Horde as survivors or underdogs,
I'm pretty sure the Trolls would tell the Naga to go fuck themselves. The Naga hunted the Darkspear to near extinction and if the Naga joined the Horde, the Darkspear would leave.
@@aegis9607 What do blood elves think of witch doctors and shamans? What do the shal'dorei? And both of these generally regard themselves as being on another level too. The problem with naga is that those that do not worship Azshara are the exception, not the rule, Makes little lore sense to make them playable any more than it makes sense getting playable man'ari eredar. As for the dragons, well, these wouldn't cavort with mortals to the point of joining the factions, regardless of side.
Nicho Murlocs have been an issue for Alliance more than Horde. Theres more “beef” with Alliance as theyve kinda been being slaughtered in Elwynn and Westfall forever (maybe more zones i main horde so idk) i cant think of murlocs near Horde starting zones but correct me if im forgetting.
An entire playable race of the horde since vanilla, was nearly wiped out by murlocs. ;-) Then in the Burning Crusade another race being nearly destroyed by Azsharan murlocs on the Isle of Quel'danas, was added to the horde. Just sayin'

Oh that's true! Plus it's been awhile since we had a real hero class, so in my opinion I think the dragon aspect one is more plausible alongside a few others simply because we need another hero class
@@justincoltharp9701 I never said that???where did I say that or imply that? What i said was that it's been awhile since we had a hero class and so far we only have those two so adding a third wouldn't be a bad idea

"damage boost if around other murlocs" would be over powered... imagine a pvp instance where players fight against an army of murloc players or even worse, an invasion
IIRC the parts of the Horde that did that are all dead (or are basically all dead) so maybe she's a little more forgiving if the people involved had nothing to do with what happened to her.
Fun fact: Arakkoa from BC have unique set of emotes, which is strange for unplayable race. Probably they planned to add them as playable race in early BC development, but they changed their mind. They probably would be an alliance race, because Horde had belfs and space goats were hilarious back then.
this video was very good, but personally, i think Ethereals would be a Neutral race. It fits their theme as opportunists and traders (and scoundrels) better. Also personally, I would make Mantid playable. Insect playable race would be AMAZING.
Same could be said of the Goblins, and yet the Bilgewater Cartel are a part of the Horde. I can easily see Blizzard making a distinction between Alliance Ethereals and Neutral Ethereals. However, I personally doubt they will be playable.
@@jtr7377 that is true, but unlike ethereals, goblins appeared first time as part of the horde in the RTS games. Ethereals appeared first as a neutral race. Though if they wouldn't be neutral, then yes, definitely more alliance than horde.
If Ethereals are added as a possible allied race, I could see them having a 'Void/Shadow Realm' racial that allows them to shift to a separate realm that is dark and only other ethereals can shift in/out of this realm and see other ethereals in this realm. For Sethrak, a channeled racial that allows them to burrow into the ground, moving at 100-150% speed, similar to that of the Worgen 'Running Wild' racial that channels into a running mount.
What about the Vrykul? They already have combat animations with different classes, both male and female models, wear full body armor and have a variety of customization options, such as hair, face, beard, etc.?
@@kaischwarz6590 I doubt they would join the horde, as the Titantic races, humans, dwarves and gnomes are alliance, i think the vrykul would fit inwith them moire, plus a lolt of vrykul do not forgive the horde (Yes i know it was sylvannas but she was horde then) for what she did to eyir in stormheim
The Sethrak made way more sense to be the new allied race for the horde than the freaking Vulpera. Then again all the “new” allied races are just reskins of the base races, which is why I see BFA as a lazy expansion.
CHRSS111 The Nightborne doesnt fit with the Alliance because Tyrande straight up told them to fuck off because they turned their back on elune and are a disgrace. Plus it was a way to give the Alliance a belf model, same with the horde and nelf.
Tyrande only did that because the writers wanted them on the horde. You're putting the cart before the horse here, we're saying it shouldn't have been done that way in the first place
because it caused issues in MoP. If pandaren were more popular it could have been a bigger issue in PvP. they say people were seeing a panda and eithier trying to attack own ally or ignore an enemy one.
Not a bad trade-off IMO. Goblins are a classic race from the Warcraft universe, and have much wider thematic range than ogres. Ogres are excellent villains, but little more.
Gilblins are just more limited goblibs. I don't see the appeal. I personally would prefer Hozen over them. A hozen rogue would make me want to pvp and out-hozen those alliance wikket-lovers.
The way I see they should add three more allied race, one more on each side and a neutral like the pandarians. Cause then there would be the exact number of allied races as normal races.
20:02 Alliance? The Elves would go nuts. Remember how Malfurion refer to them as "loathe some beasts"? I think they should be in the Horde. They are Illidan's naga and the Sin'dorei were allied with them, fought with them and saved them from being executed by Garithos.
vala alisaeedi true. But these are the Coilskar, there may be bad blood but the Horde has shown that its willing to accept races that needs a home. They did it with the very questionable San’layn albeit under Sylavanas. I believe they’ll accept them. Should they join ofcourse, the naga are very loyal to a single master, be it Illidan, Azshara or N’zoth. But I guess we shall see
Horde hate them. Especially Lor’themar and Thellysra since they fought the Naga in their home. And the darkspear also hates them giving their history. Night Elves only hate the Naga because they were the reason War of the Ancients happened. And with the addition of the Void Elves I can see a connection between the Naga and Void elves because both have a connection to the void.
2 years later, an end to shadowlands and early dragonflight infos (that, along other things, says we'll have to wait until any new allied race be added). We get something like that: - Light Undeads may actually be Horde as the Calia Lore lead her to their side I suppose - Dragonkin not came, but we will receive a dragon race (not allied though). With a even cooler flying trait to them - Tuskar is coming back to the game, but only as NPCs as long as we now yet - Arakoas kinda disappear again after WoD. But you can see a kinda similar character model as the uncorrupted with the Moonkin form of Zandalari Trolls that proves it is possible in-game wise - Nothing new to add to Murlocs afaik - Tortollan and Sethrak are kinda new and I think they don't even appear in Shadowlands again. I guess it's kinda harder for them to be added in near future (although I would like to play as a Tortollan) - I think if Ogres was not added yet, they don't will add it later after all this years. They are too much alike Orcs (and we already have 2 Orcs) and has all the problems mentioned in the video. - Nagas could have been added in the transition from Legion to BfA. I don't know if they will add now, for the same reason Ogres (although Nagas model have different problems than them) - I would LOVE to see Ethereal been added to the game but I think they deserve a combo like Dracthyr and Evokers. So they could been hella unique as they deserve to be I would like a lot to see new allied races or just regular races to not have to choose for a faction. And instead be friendly to both factions. I don't know how it would work, maybe if you turn on war mode you could beat all players you see and on pvp instance you choose previously your faction (like the mercenaries feature in BfA). They are already adding a lot of cross-faction things, this could be the evolution of it (and of wow itself)
I'd add another Ethereal racial, Last Stance: What would be a killing blow let's the Etehreal loose their bandages, having 0 armour and a very low amount of hp (1%?). Not much for mellee classes, but casters may run out of dangerous zones and keep casting damage or heal. Bandages reappear 10 secondas after combat ends.
@@eafesaf6934 and the rep grinds and subsequent quests to unlock allied races are the buildup to those races joining the faction... Not to mention, who knows what Blizzard will do with the stories for all these races as new expansions arise?
I feel like Dragonborn would only work if they were its own class, just being a race wouldnt work because dragons are known to use their dragon form for fighting
Honestly I want them to add the Ankoan or the Jinyu as an allied race. They could finally give another shaman race to alliance due to their connection to the water and their spirituality. Their aesthetic is really really cool and the Ankoan are a warrior culture that literally allied with us in Nazjatar. They could give the Horde the Gilgoblins or Hozen to make it equal.
I am really late in watching this video, but it's fantastic! Love how you went through why and how they could become races, as well as weighing faction options, classes, racials, etc. And let me just say...wow with the dragon race predictions.
Good video though honestly I was rather dissapointed that Krokul (Broken Draenei) isn't here, though they aren't as highly requested as say Ogres or Ethereals, I always found them to be one of the more interesting races in the lore, how they are such a contrast from the normal Draenei. When it comes to classes they basically can be anything BUT Paladins and Priests, with many classes representing the many Broken tribes in Outland, heck there are even druids Broken but those are more Lost Draenei which is some what of another thing. Because of Nobundo it's pretty obvious they would be part of the alliance and I do think they would make a interesting part to the Alliance, with it being a uglier race compared to everything else in it. For skills I do imagine they would go for something much more aggresive compared to their Draenei brothers, possibly some sort of damaging skill. I do wish they used a remake mostly based on their old model instead of the Argus one, where they use the Tauren's skeleton for their animations.

Proper alliance High Elves. They’ve been in the Alliance longer and had a lot more story than the void elves. Just give them a unique skeleton model and customization options to differentiate them from their Horde counterparts. As for the whole “there’s not enough of them to make up a race slot” that should also apply to the blood elves then, but that doesn’t stop the inflation of them being played
I would change to a Settrak within a heartbeat. I really hope the next allied races are a bit biased towards the alliance. There are so many more horde than alliance already especially after they put the vulpera into the game
@@devincampbell5007 Are you saying that because you think it makes sense, or because you play Horde and want to have snakes? They enslaved and attempted to genocide an existing Horde race. The horde spent a third of their levelling experience at war with the Sethrak. Next in Shadowlands: Undead moved to Alliance because they're technically humans so 'should' be Alliance
@@kopecci9678 The Horde spent time helping the Sethrak, of Vorrik's faction, which I guess you could call the devoted? The war was against the faithless. Vorrik has positive reactions to both the Alliance and Horde. Trolls were at war with blood elves, at some point, too, yet they're in the same faction. At the end of the day, I don't think Sethrak will ever be added to the game. Although, I want them to.

Since Frostborn Dwarves are Titanforged Dwarves not effected by the curse of flesh I think it would be smarter for Blizzard to wrap the 3 Titanforged Dwarf races (Earthen, Rune, and Frostborn) into a single allied race as customization options
I think a Vrykul race should come soon. They'd probably be in the Horde due to their fighting spirit and what not. I also think there's quite the evidence that it's already ready, no tinkering needing. You know when you hover over some Player, it displays their race and class and level? For example Mouse over person, ''[Player Name] The [Title], [Race] [Class] [Level] = ''Jimmy the Patient, Human Priest level 120'' If you use the Vrykul toy from Stormheim, and mouse over your character, it actually changes your race to Vrykul while that toy is active, this doesn't really happen with other Race-Toys, except for 'The Coin of Many faces' which already uses the core races. So I do think Vrykul is a likely Allied Race soon, although their relevancy has dipped quite a bit since it's been a while since Legion ended.
While not an allied race, number 9 looks to be taking form as the Dracthyr! Hopefully we still see new allied races even beyond this, as who knows if most people will want to be limited to evoker class to play the new race...
For orge, the lore says that 2 headed beings were "smarter" or more clever and were often revered as important figures and were the some of the most skilled casters. Maybe mages and locks are ONLY two headed? that would be a cool differenec
No Saberon? They're already easily translatable. We have the in battle animations for when we played them in WoD, they have easily made access to Warrior/Hunter/Shaman/Druid (hey, all the original Tauren classes) and secondary do mage/lock (Don't see them as much of a divinity class)
Devil's Advocake I feel like Saberon would be cool but seem too feral. There were no sentient or non-feral Saberon introduces in WoD. All the allied races in this list are intelligent races (besides Murlocs which was a stretch).
@@MrAries-zs8fn That's not true, Saberon had sentient ones, they just didn't speak good 'common/horde'. They speak their own language. Remember they're from a dimension without horde or alliance influence so the lack of them speaking a language sans a few is pretty believable. And there were a few, the ones in the Arena all spoke, the ones that became your follower all spoke. Let's not forget that worgen were 100% feral before Cata.
Ethereal activational racial (shadow grip): you raise a shadowy hand out below you, slowing all enemies for 50% within 20ft and silencing all within 5ft for 10 seconds and slowing them for an additional 15%. The affected targets can’t be affected again for 10 minutes (5 minute cooldown)

Of these four elven races, only the void elves were not solidly developped and introduced directly through gameplay, too. And you're whining.
I just want Ethereals (as a neutral race) and Ogres for the Horde. What I wouldn’t give to play a two headed ogre... lol, got a head of myself, you nailed them. I would forsake all other races for those two though.
One thing about allied races: They’ve mostly been created with existing assets, meaning something as involved as the dragonkin is extremely unlikely. That’s not to say we won’t get them though, I just think we’re significantly more likely to see them as a core race with completely new designs then as an allied race based off three limited models, two of which have been in the game since the beginning.
Top 10 Potentially New Allied Races in World of Warcraft: *Exists* Me: *(Hears about Arakkoa Allied Race)* th-cam.com/video/HkoLyn9sqx8/w-d-xo.html In all honesty, I think that the likely thing that would happen would be that we would get the Uncorrupted Arakkoa from the Alternate Draenor, and that they would join with the Alliance due to how the horde already has the Mag'har from the same timeline and would be considered gamebreaking to have The Horde filled completely with ALL of the Non-Draenei Races from Warlords of Draenor (lorewise, the reason for the Arakkoa seeking to join the Alliance is because the Arakkoa despite having worked with members of the Horde in pushing back the threat of the Iron Horde, they would still hold animosity towards the Shattered Hand and Bleeding Hollow Clans, who had actively hunted and attacked their people long before they formed the Iron Horde; then later becoming the Mag'har and joining with The Horde in the main timeline.) We could have a story reason why we get the Uncorrupted Arakkoa; that during the recruitment scenario where we get them we manage to undo the Curse of Sethe through Titan Magic similar to what was used to remove the Old God influence from Wrathion and Ebonhorns' Eggs and that the leader of the Arakkoa (one Scrollkeeper Reshad) managed to become the first uncorrupted Arakkoa in a long time. Arriving in the main timeline; the Arakkoa would set up their new home atop the lovely Waterfalls above Northshire Abbey (because it is a lovely spot that very few beginning players even know about unless they traveled their from the Burning Steppes) and begins to teach the Corrupted Arakkoa how to uncorrupt themselves and re-achieve flight once again. We can even implement a Racial progression system that is tied into this bit of lore: the Racial being known as "Flying High" (working similar to the Worgens' own "Running Wild" in that it is an alternate mount form) And that at level 20, the Arakkoa can only Glide similar to the Demon Hunters, at Level 40 they can do an airward leap into the air followed by a glide that allows them to reach higher places than normal (think of it as Revali's Gale from _Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild_ ), and at Level 60: you manage to unlock full flight. The lore reason for this three-step Racial is that your Arakkoa character is slowly redeveloping their wing muscles in order to soar through the air once again. Potential Arakkoa Classes are pretty much the same as you listed: Warriors, Mages, Hunters, Rogues, Druids, Priests, but not Warlocks or Shamans (Lorewise for Warlocks, this is because the Arakkoa have actively distanced themselves from demonic influence because of how Shadow Sage Iskar, the de-facto leader of the Arakkoa Outcasts before it reorganized into the Order of The Awakened; betrayed the Arakkoa to side with the Skettis and the remainder of the Adherents of Rukhmar to join with the Fel Horde in order to get back his wings: "Trading one curse for another" as Reshad put it), instead they can become Monks and Paladins. The Lore behind this is that the Arakkoa long before they split due to the Corruption of Sethes' Curse they had worshipped the Light through their connection to Rukhmar: the closest analogue that Draenor has to an Azerothian Wild God/Loa/Celestial, so it would make plenty of sense that the Arakkoa would have their own beliefs in the Holy Light (Similar to how the Sunwalkers worship An'she as another form of Druidic Magic for the Tauren) And now we get into what I think would be the coolest aspect for Arakkoa Allied Race: they would have _"The Dance of The Talon King":_ a highly-unique Passive Weapon Racial that allows *ALL* Arakkoa regardless of Class the ability to Dual-Wield Swords, Daggers, and Warglaives just like Talon King Terokk could. Also, with the upcoming _Shadowlands_ Expansion having us delve into the realm of undeath; we will need to gain access to one such race that has partially managed to get into the shadow realm while maintaining their connections to the material world: The Arakkoa have managed to do this due to their culture being an ancient one that worshipped both the Holy Light and the Shadows in equal measure through their faith in Rukhmar and Anzu (who following his corruption by devouring the entirety of Sethes' corpse had to retreat into the Shadow Realm in order to try and maintain his grip on his faltering sanity long enough to push through the worst of its effects, a trait that he also taught to Talon King Terokk when he became corrupted by Sethes' blood: from which he was able to create the Arakkoa Outcasts.) The Arakkoa will be needed if the Alliance plans on going safely into the Shadowlands. It is only when these criteria are met will I find myself able to switch over to play as an Alliance seriously: they need the Bird People as an Allied Race, they are that unique blend of elegance and savagery that the Night Elves don't seem to posses whenever I try to play as them.
I can see the dragonkin(Or dragonsworn class) in the future due to you know wrathion and anduin hitting it up 24/7 and the dragon isle being teased a lot.
The idea of having Undead as a pandaren-like race in the sense that they aren't faction-locked sounds freaking good, since Undead, contrary to pandaren, are actually popular.
Dragonkin is more of a class than race since you could build a class based off using different aspect Magic’s while having your dragon form be a “ultimate” type ability while having the race you choose be your mortal form
That Horde bias... Birdpeople, Murlocs or Tuskarr, you have weak arguments for making them Horde factions. You could find some arguments with Pandarens being one-faction-only too. There is a solution tho: Just make most of these races neutral and let people choose their side. It worked with pandas :)
Man you got me hyped for tuskarr haha A murloc racial ability on a short cooldown depending on class, you could summon 2-4 murloc adds to attack your current target lol
for 6:55 i prefeared the "bfa version" 1) cause it's my fav expansion 2) cause male and female are not EXACT same skin 3) cause it's more actual than the other (we have the two race together in dragonflight)

Increasing archeology by ___. sifting sands throwing sands in enemies eyes blinding them for __ also mabye: snake tongued: increases material finding radius by ____ (herbs, ores) good day
OG arrakoa hated Horde, so alliance is more likely. Blood elves were forced out of the alliance for allying with naga. The highborne are Asharas elites who were "spared" and finally turned into Naga. The ones who weren't were outcasts by night elves (highborne = high elves). Nagas and blood elves fought alongside eachother under Ilidan, so Horde for me.
Sethrak on Alliance would be pure undeserved Alliance fanservice to look like they are not Horde Biased. They will go Horde for multiple reasons and you will accept it. Horde would have to get something from Stormsong Valley to pair with the Sethrak

Blizz could replace it with a tail spin.
They could just make a tailswipe for kick
kicking isn't all that important to rogues except for one maybe two abilities, while for monks it's an important part of their toolkit, not to mention spinning and twirling mid air is hard to imagine to animate for them.
@Murphio I was thinking more they stay grounded and just spin around and whack you with their tails and I wouldn’t think they could be monks so leaving the ground and spinning about really wouldn’t be a problem.
Tail attack?
Fun fact about ethereals: only a subset are void alligned, most of them are pure arcane, and we've seen some using Light as well. The void ones are only seen in the Shadowguard/Ethereum (I think), and started off as dark templar-esque void rogues on tbc.
But isn't their very nature based on the Void itself?
@Antonio AR they where bombarded with Void and Arcane energies for the amusement of a Void Lord and they were only able to block the Void energy in time and their body’s where warped by the Arcane wave so they are actually Arcane beings normally. Actual TDL of their origin story watch Nobles video on it.

the vrykal would make great alliance additions due to their valor related and idolized backgrounds, hell they were shown in a VERY early patch video for ulduar so thats defo on the table
I dont think Mantids can ever be a playable class, theyre sided with the Old Gods.

Goblin's replaced ogres way back when, Horde were suppose to get ogres but it ended up being too complicated so goblins made it instead.
Not a bad trade-off IMO. Goblins are a classic race from the Warcraft universe, and have much wider thematic range than ogres. Ogres are excellent villains, but little more.

Really cool video. Plus so interesting to watch knowing the new Evoquer class coming later this year (2022) with the 10.0 expansion Dragonflight !
20:02 Alliance? The Elves would go nuts. Remember how Malfurion refer to them as "loathe some beasts"? I think they should be in the Horde. They are Illidan's naga and the Sin'dorei were allied with them, fought with them and saved them from being executed by Garithos.
no way horde accept naga lorewise
because of the whole vol'jin and darkspear trolls situation
The Blood Elves who were allied with them were traitors that we killed along with Kael'thas during TBC.
I think this is a big problem with many of the allied races, nobody would ally with them.
vala alisaeedi true.
We get something like that:
- Light Undeads may actually be Horde as the Calia Lore lead her to their side I suppose
- Dragonkin not came, but we will receive a dragon race (not allied though). With a even cooler flying trait to them
- Tuskar is coming back to the game, but only as NPCs as long as we now yet
- Arakoas kinda disappear again after WoD. But you can see a kinda similar character model as the uncorrupted with the Moonkin form of Zandalari Trolls that proves it is possible in-game wise
- Nothing new to add to Murlocs afaik
- Tortollan and Sethrak are kinda new and I think they don't even appear in Shadowlands again. I guess it's kinda harder for them to be added in near future (although I would like to play as a Tortollan)
- I think if Ogres was not added yet, they don't will add it later after all this years. They are too much alike Orcs (and we already have 2 Orcs) and has all the problems mentioned in the video.
- Nagas could have been added in the transition from Legion to BfA. I don't know if they will add now, for the same reason Ogres (although Nagas model have different problems than them)
- I would LOVE to see Ethereal been added to the game but I think they deserve a combo like Dracthyr and Evokers. So they could been hella unique as they deserve to be
I would like a lot to see new allied races or just regular races to not have to choose for a faction.
A note on the Sethrak, Sethrak should also be able to choose priest considering the whole “faithless” and “devoted” factions.
Tortollans, Sethrak, Murlocs, Ethereals and Naga are all neutral races, they help/attack both factions and don't favor any one of them.
Same could have been said of the goblins before Cataclysm

Honestly I want them to add the Ankoan or the Jinyu as an allied race. They could finally give another shaman race to alliance due to their connection to the water and their spirituality. Their aesthetic is really really cool and the Ankoan are a warrior culture that literally allied with us in Nazjatar. They could give the Horde the Gilgoblins or Hozen to make it equal.
I am really late in watching this video, but it's fantastic! Love how you went through why and how they could become races, as well as weighing faction options, classes, racials, etc. And let me just say...wow with the dragon race predictions.
The draenor based races are my favorites, including ethereals.
I've wanted High Elves for the Alliance since 2005. Also, Jinyu would be awesome for the Alliance as well. I want my gnome mage to be a fishman.
ye they can't kick but believe me when i say if a naga with that big of a tail "KICKS" u with it, they'll most likely break 50% of your bones xD
Naga males should get a tail constriction racial - 3 second stun with good damage and a slow afterwards.
Would Tortollan have an affinity for pizza? Would their faction leader be a rat? :) Couldn't Naga use the tails as a sweeping attack?
The best they'd get would be a reference in their /silly. And please no, that's overboard and dated.

You know when you hover over some Player, it displays their race and class and level?
For example
Mouse over person, ''[Player Name] The [Title], [Race] [Class] [Level] = ''Jimmy the Patient, Human Priest level 120''
If you use the Vrykul toy from Stormheim, and mouse over your character, it actually changes your race to Vrykul while that toy is active, this doesn't really happen with other Race-Toys, except for 'The Coin of Many faces' which already uses the core races. In all honesty, I think that the likely thing that would happen would be that we would get the Uncorrupted Arakkoa from the Alternate Draenor, and that they would join with the Alliance due to how the horde already has the Mag'har from the same timeline and would be considered gamebreaking to have The Horde filled completely with ALL of the Non-Draenei Races from Warlords of Draenor (lorewise, the reason for the Arakkoa seeking to join the Alliance is because the Arakkoa despite having worked with members of the Horde in pushing back the threat of the Iron Horde, they would still hold animosity towards the Shattered Hand and Bleeding Hollow Clans, who had actively hunted and attacked their people long before they formed the Iron Horde; then later becoming the Mag'har and joining with The Horde in the main timeline.)
We could have a story reason why we get the Uncorrupted Arakkoa; that during the recruitment scenario where we get them we manage to undo the Curse of Sethe through Titan Magic similar to what was used to remove the Old God influence from Wrathion and Ebonhorns' Eggs and that the leader of the Arakkoa (one Scrollkeeper Reshad) managed to become the first uncorrupted Arakkoa in a long time.
The Lore behind this is that the Arakkoa long before they split due to the Corruption of Sethes' Curse they had worshipped the Light through their connection to Rukhmar: the closest analogue that Draenor has to an Azerothian Wild God/Loa/Celestial, so it would make plenty of sense that the Arakkoa would have their own beliefs in the Holy Light (Similar to how the Sunwalkers worship An'she as another form of Druidic Magic for the Tauren)
And now we get into what I think would be the coolest aspect for Arakkoa Allied Race: they would have _"The Dance of The Talon King":_ a highly-unique Passive Weapon Racial that allows *ALL* Arakkoa regardless of Class the ability to Dual-Wield Swords, Daggers, and Warglaives just like Talon King Terokk could.
Love your comment!
Blizz should see your comment
Sethrakk - bonus damage to Vulpera. You won me there.
I just want my snek bois
You see a Horde bias even when he puts sethrak with Alliance, Ethereals with alliance and the black dragonflight with alliance.
Man you got me hyped for tuskarr haha
A murloc racial ability on a short cooldown depending on class, you could summon 2-4 murloc adds to attack your current target lol
i would LOVE to play a snake, that’s a dream
Darkspear should get a big snake as their Feral forms. Replace bleeds with venom, wham, unique expression to an existing race.
for 6:55 i prefeared the "bfa version" 1) cause it's my fav expansion 2) cause male and female are not EXACT same skin 3) cause it's more actual than the other (we have the two race together in dragonflight)
So we will have dragons
Ethereal: bandage bind, stun for 3 sec only 30 or 40sec because it decreases primary stat by 3% after use going into that a passive: unstable energy increasing ___stat by_% for sethrak (I want them most) add: devoted ones increase either haste by _% or make them do 1% lightning damage or mabye add: who does the desert know? (kassadin i mean what?) Increasing archeology by ___. sifting sands throwing sands in enemies eyes blinding them for __ also mabye: snake tongued: increases material finding radius by ____ (herbs, ores) good day
Please a dragon race that has selectable humanoid form, just please. ill deffo resub for that-
OG arrakoa hated Horde, so alliance is more likely.
@@DisastrousIntentionally Garithos used it as an excuse to execute them. It was final straw before joining Illidan
i kinda accepted the fact horde would get the foxes, but had hope alliance got the snakes, not a re-skin gnome cyborg.
Same.
Same, especially the Lightforged Draenei reskin as well. It's a waste of an allied race imo
Sethrak on Alliance would be pure undeserved Alliance fanservice to look like they are not Horde Biased. They will go Horde for multiple reasons and you will accept it. Horde would have to get something from Stormsong Valley to pair with the Sethrak
a world of warcraft race : exist
hirumaredx : so they could potentialy be druids
Half way through the video and I swear all I have herd is "I would likely seeing them joining the horde"
bruh what about the jinyu/fish men from Nazjatar (i didnt understand the difference between them)
