I agree, I haven’t delved into the lore of the artifacts and I’m wondering just how strong they might be if they’re considered the most powerful weapons in existence
Number 1: The big fire doggo from molten core. He is just a damn old flame hound, like how even is he a boss in the raid? He basicaly has the same presence in lore like a random midle of the dungeon boss from wotlk
Murmur is noted in the readable text as a planet busting elemental lord of sound always wished he had more to him in-game, not a raid boss but had potential to be
SubtleBloodshot he definitely has potential for being a raid boss the dungeon boss was a mere echo of murmur, and it is stated in lore that murmur’s sigh destroyed an entire world
I'm pretty sure the elemental Lord's can't die, they just go back to their domain and recharge when they get defeated. Idk if this is true, but it makes sense since rag was in 2 raids.
I absolutely loved how the video was split up on the time-lapse bar, showing who was up on the top 10 ten list. I haven't really seen this used anywhere else, and it really adds value to the video, in my opinion.
Fallen Avatar was defeated by (essentially) a mortal. We don't really see how powerful Azshara became after becoming a Naga, but I'm pretty sure she's more powerful than Archimonde, Kil'jaden, and probably on par with the Titan Keepers.
@@Kylora2112 Fallen avatar was defeated by THE Guardian, and it was planned that Sargeras would lose to her because he was waiting for the chance to either take over her or if she ever had a child. Which she did, which was Medivh, and used Medivh to do numerous heinous acts in order to take down Azeroth from within. But Sargeras avatar was really just a husk compared to when Aegwynn defeated it. Also I wouldn't call Aegwynn "essentially" a mortal, she prolonged her life and youth for several hundred years using her magic alone. But Helya is probably more accurate for the number 10 spot since there really is no telling from where she got her powers, which to me, seem Old God inspired. Also honestly Kil'Jaeden is more powerful than Archimonde, mostly because he was alive for longer and also because he actually never died. Archimonde first passed away at the battle of Hyjal. Kil'Jaeden never died in the sunwell raid, we simply just kicked him back into the portal which he had created.
@@Knallpulverklemp That looks like a good wall of text im lazy to read but you seem to have confused the avatar of sargeras with fallen avatar of sargeras, he got weakened
I’m surprised to not see Algalon in the list. While is it difficult to know how powerful he can be, he’s probably stronger than the bottom listed bosses.
N'zoth may have been weaker than his siblings. But lets remember that through sheer wit alone he was able to best C'thun and Yog Saron both in battle when the Old Gods warred with eachother after they established the Black Empire.
i really like that nzoth isn’t the strongest old god in terms of power alone, but his smarts and wits are so strong that he can still best his siblings. i love characters that aren’t the most physically strong but are very very clever.
Yaaaay. When i started on this channel, I watched these videos while I was playing wow. Now i try to play while i'm watching this videos. Good work man.
I agree with most except Queen Azshara 100% deserves the spot over Archimonde. You said it yourself, her powers rivaled theirs BEFORE she got a big power boost by N'Zoth.
They're from his series detailing the backstories of various WoW villains. If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth a watch. The artist did an amazing job, kinda getting this perfect mix of serious artwork, while also slipping in the occasional cute or humorous moment (so it isn't just a non-stop boring history lesson).
The art style seems pretty heavily inspired by overly sarcastic productions. Though they focus on history and writing tropes/stories. Theyre worth a look if you like that type of style of info dumping
I think the strongest being ever faced by the heroes of Azeroth was Murmur, the destroyer of worlds. Although only his echo was summoned and defeated, it destroyed an entire area now known as the bone waste in Outland just by summoning it.
Honestly the "real" form of Murmur would probably be on the level of an Old God if not stronger. The little Lore we have around this being is frightening. The fact that we only fight a fraction of its Power adds to that.
@@Y0G0FU I'm thinking it could be far more powerful considering that it consumes worlds and is the strongest elemental in existence. The void lords would need to send an army such as multiple old gods and their minions to destroy a world, while Murmur can do it on his own. I'm thinking that Murmur could be on the level of a Void Lord or a Titan.
@@oxilef8471 but what's interesting is that in fact, a strong enough ground attack could still affect sky creatures, if you collapse a lot of the ground, the Shockwave resulting could affect flying beings, it would then mean that ground attack of huge scale could hit flying creatures. Like a huge earthquake.
Archimonde and Kil'jaeden are planet reckers also (WOD Boss journal When Archimonde reaches 25% health remaining, he summons a massive meteor to destroy Draenor.)
You got something wrong when discussing Lei-Shen. After Aman'thul died he passed his powers to Ra-Den which Ra-Den stored away and those were the powers that Lei Shen stole so full power Lei-Shen had the power of a literal Titan, not a Titan keeper which no doubt places him higher. Though the Lei Shen we face isn't nearly that strong
@@jayej3834 Nope, It was revealed in Chronicle one he died invading Uldum and the Tol'Vir Activated the Forge of Origination on him turning Uldum to a desert.

Haven't even watched the full vid yet but just gotta say.. Never let go of your artist drawing these pictures.. They go so well with your channel and look amazing 😍
seriously i never new that the titankeepers beat yogg with his own tactics, playing mindgames with on of the biggest if not the biggest illusionist in Warcraft.
I still argue that Azshara was the most powerful mortal to ever have lived, even before the Sundering and even before the Legion's first invasion of Azeroth. She lived her life right next to the Well of Eternity (a direct font of Azeroth's Titanic power) and drank power from it all her life (then ageless, thanks to the Aspect-blessed world tree granting all Night Elves immortality from death by old age). Then she got bored and opened universe-spanning communication with the Burning Legion in a bid for _even more_ power, as well as opening a cross-universe portal by herself to bring the Legion to Azeroth. After she got more power from the Legion, she also got _even more power again_ from N'zoth when the Sundering happened, and then an additional 10,000 years since then to modern day WoW to accumulate even more power and magical expertise. She was also able to shatter the Tidestone of Golganneth, a Titan-created world-shaping artifact, solo. Her Warbringer short even shows just how much power she had before N'zoth, when she creates and maintains (even if only for a short time) a city-wide barrier holding back the entire ocean mid-Sundering alone, in an effort to protect her people.
I'm abit confused about Azshara. In War of the ancients book, it was only stated that the night elves revered her and that she was indeed powerful, and Mannoroth was concerned about not angering her, but there was no mention of her rivalring Archimonde Also, I found no Lore reason why she should be SO much more powerful than the other high born, she was just a normal, but kinda powerful mage, no way guardian level. But she did basically nothing herself. No idea how much that is still canon, though.
@@Bliss467 After the second Well of Eternity (Nordrassil in Hyjal) was destroyed by Archimonde the night elves lost their immortality, and even when they made a new world tree, Teldrassil was not blessed by Nozdormu, so they never got it back. It's not however clear of Nordrassil is fully healed yet......it's also not quite clear how the night elves initially got their imortality, either via the FIrst Well or via some direct blessing from dragon aspects or Titans.
Great video! Would you consider making a rank video for the leaders of Azeroth? Like Jaina, Sylvanas, Malfurion, Thrall, etc. Where would you rank Jaina in terms of power, based on this raid boss list?
It’s funny seeing most people saying that Arthas should’ve been on the list and their only argument is “he’s the only one who defeated the players”, even though the video clearly says Top 10 Strongest Raid Bosses BASED ON LORE.
The Jailer is a titan at full strength, so when we face him we're expected to be more powerful then we were in legion IF we face him which will suck given how we didn't get to fight Sargeras. And before anyone suggests there's no way we could have, they could have made something like the titan avatars empowered us and made us all demi gods during the fight against Sargeras, but whatever.
I think Illidan could be on this list. In your strongest faction leader video you said that they had to be a faction leader and their measure of power was taken from when they were the strongest regardless of if they were the faction leader while they were most powerful. If that's the same in this video, Illidan wasn't as powerful when he was the final boss in black temple but now after he's killed a na'aru and is Sargeras' jailer (a fallen titan that was capable of killing the other titans and cleaved a planet in half). He siphons the power of demons getting stronger after every one he kills. Getting into speculation territory, I think now as Sargeras' jailer he can siphon Sargeras' power basically infinitely as he regains strength from the twisting nether. Illidan could be high on this list if not the top. Of course if he only counts as his appearance in black temple he wouldn't be on the list. Either way I enjoyed the video. Side note it would be cool if Illidan with Sargeras' power added to his pulls the sword from silithus to heal the wound.
Azshara definitely belongs on this list somewhere in the middle I would think. It's stated in lore that when Mannoroth grabbed her he felt a "whisper" of her true power (I think that's how it's stated but it's been a while) and felt fear, fear he had only known of one other being, Sargeras. Since Mannoroth is said to be on a level with Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, being one of Sargeras' 3 EQUALLY POWERFUL lieutenants, and that was BEFORE she was infused with old god juice, i would say that at the very least she belongs above Kil'jaeden.
@@Nzothf12 Quiet, you! I have had enough of your scurrilous whispers. No one listens to your lies anymore. Don't make me get out the heart of Azeroth and tell Mother to aim her beam at you again!
as far as I understood discussions in game (I think it was mother who says it after you kill N'zoth) that all Old god signatures have been cleansed. meaning C'thun and Yogg are dead. Of course, thise might mean "outside of their prisons" but I don't know.
Were Kil'Jaeden and Archimonde retconned to be weaker? If not, they have no business being below any of the elemental lords. It's very unclear how strong the avatars of yogg and c'thun are, so whether or not they are more powerful than those is anyone's guess, but since N'zoth wasn't fought as an avatar, he is definitely above both of them
I would argue that the Old Gods themselves are not actually very powerful at all, albeit still incredibly dangerous. Their "power" comes from the ability to corrupt and control other extremely powerful beings, up to and including nascent titans, which in itself does not increase their own strength. They are just puppet-masters, not all that powerful individually. They need to play the long game in order to turn enemies against themselves, using *their* power as a weapon of their own. In a 1 on 1 encounter, without the delay caused by their minions allowing time to influence and corrupt their attacker, any individual Old God would probably be fairly easy to defeat. I would place Deathwing at #4 on this list (ahead of the Old Gods, obviously), for all the reason you gave, including because the source of his was given to him by Khaz'goroth, giving him vast power over the planet itself, some additional level of power given by the Old Gods (mentioned in Dawn of the Aspects), as well as (SPECULATION) an amount of power coming from his extended exposure to Azerite. Being the Earth-Warder, he would have been in proximity to Azerite, as Gallywix explained that even before Sargeras plunged his sword into Azeroth there were still pockets of Azerite in the deep earth, Deathwing's domain. But #3 on my list was one you did not mention (Possibly because he's technically a dungeon boss, not a raid boss) is Murozond. Still having the full powers given to him by Aman'Thul, the Highfather of the Pantheon of Titans, and without regard to maintaining the sanctity of time. I would argue that control over time is the most powerful ability the Titans gave the aspects, being able to travel through the timewaves to alter past actions, I should have been near impossible to defeat him, unless you too had control over time (or a big sad bronze boy's help), because he could simply travel back to your birth and kill you there. What makes him so powerful is his disregard for maintaining the timelines, allowing him to alter anything that doesn't suit his desires, and without the direct aid of Nozdormu, or a titan, Murozond would be able to defeat any other being on Azeroth. Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey cheating powers.
I would say that the Old Gods themselves are actullay very powerful in brute strength as well. The reason why old gods are mainly puppet masters is due to the fact that they were pretty much always locked up and couldn't use their brute force. Once an old god is no longer locked up, they can use incredibly strong raw power, strong enough to destroy an entire world I'd say. Their goal is never to just destroy a world though, the void's goal has always been coruption. The old gods aren't just going to blow everything up, they're going to corrupt it or die trying. Also I'd say that manipulation power is valuable enough to land you a spot on a strongest raid bosses list anyways. Raw physical power isn't everything. It's not like all of the old god's manipulation takes years either, some of it is just powerful instant manipulation. They can just walk up to you and mind control you or make you go insane as they do for raid mechanics. The old gods don't want to blow up azeroth (Death wing almost did tho so idk if they were gonna stop him at some point or what was going on there, maybe they already knew the heros would win?), especially due to azeroth holding a titan (one of the strongest apparently) that they could corrupt. If the old gods did want to blow up azeroth, it would've happened when they were all on azeroth and already controlling it for the most part. When you're playing chess, the objective isn't to flip the table and destroy the chess board even though you can easily do so, it's to win the game of chess lol. They've never been playing a game of brute strength even though they clearly have brute strength. The old gods will literally die just to win their game of chess. They'll leave the heros thinking that they've defeated all the corruption when in reality their death was just a distraction for a checkmate.
@@Sunny-zf1cm What makes you think they have the power to destroy the planet though? They've never demonstrated anything like that. The Old God fights in game have all consisted of minions, manipulations, and barriers, ment to extend the fight as long as possible in order to corrupt you. But once you get past those and it's just you alone with them, they tend to just fall over. If they were on their own from the start, it wouldn't be much of a contest between us and them. Remember that the keepers (Most of whom we've defeated ourselves), were able to overcome the fully empowered Old Gods AND their fully stocked up armies, all while being careful not to actually kill them. The Old Gods are the parasite minions of the Void Lords, spewed out probably by the billions in order to infect as many planets as possible; They're not the big bads. Think about it this way: The Old Gods on their own are best represented by the final stages of each of their raid fights. Their power unshackled can be overcome by a few keepers. Now imagine the fight between that, and Deathwing, who we had to shoot twice with the twice empowered Demon Soul, throw him into the maelstrom, sacrifice all the other Aspect's powers, and were still barely able to defeat him. There's no question in my mind that in a 1v1 Deathwing wrecks every Old God FAR before they could ever manipulate him.
Not fully true, emerald nightmare is actually combination effort of all 3 old gods. But first idea is by Yogsarron when he accidentally get contact with the world tree Vadrassil.
NPCS: Hero come with great haste! We are beset upon by the most fearsome foe to ever exist! It would take armies of the most powerful beings to even combat the this monstrous foe! Hero: Oh n0es what we do?! NPCS: IDK just um... grab like 24 random dudes in town and go kill it and like all of its friends in their easily accessible tower filled with minion fodder. Should only take like an hour or two... I'll totally give this ancient artifact of unbridled loling as a reward!
A fun version of this list would be the most powerful raid bosses in lore at the time we fight them rather than their most powerful. For example comparing imprisoned yogg saron to awakened nzoth
Indeed. In theory, we could also put the Avatar of Sargeras high on the list, as he was insanely powerful when he fought Aegwynn, even though he was but a shadow of his former power, when we fought him. A fully powered and freed N’Zoth should definitely be above an imprisoned C’thun and Yogg-Saron.
same here... cause he has some kind of "Nuke Everything and Reboot from beginning of all existence"-Button. And you can say whatever you want... but a resett for EVEYTHING that can't even be denied by the powers of even a Voidlord or something is more powerfull than anything ^^ Cause resett for everything means for me... EVERYTHING is NOTHING And beginns right from the Beginning of all existence and maybe will never be again cause existence maybe goes another way this time...
Lots of lore was retconned over the years. I think years ago it was said that the Old Gods were powerful enough to even make Sargeras quiver in fear, but later they made it so that mere Titan Keepers can defeat and imprison them.
Blizzard retcon the old gods again... after the death of n’zoth. The old god avatars are no longer avatars and we for sure killed them, and they made it sound like they went back to the void so we could see them again one day.
By confirming they were merely manufactured tumors, and that there were millions of them across the universe, they needed to get rid of them by killing them off for good. They are just not as threatening now as they were before that retcon Hopefully the Void Lords are as good
But Yogg'Saron is still causing shit to occur? Like in the prepatch for BFA with Magni in Ulduar, we see that it's making a resurgence and causing trouble.
An honorable mention or something should have been made for the Lich King, since he's one of only 2 bosses that actually kill the heroes as part of his fight, or at least he used to before we out scaled it.
I will also like to mention that he goes Ez on us and Azeroth, if Uther is to be believed Arthas humanity is what kept The lich king and the scourge from consuming Azeroth all life. If it wasnt for him to die Azeroth will be dead 😂 Man i really wish there is an alternate timeline where all life bows to the lich king
@@darkwhispersstories47 Likly world wouldve fallen under his control if he won against the raid/champions. But are beings on azeroth that are stronger ( by alot) then the lich king. Like azshara,Leishen, the old gods And others could still win and kill arthas like titan keepers or elemental lords,or aspects +deathwing might not be guranteed wins but its certainly possible they could win. Also the tolvir got reorgination device in uldum which is acviated fully would wipe out the socurge completly
I think you overestimate the elemental lord's and ghuun. Archimonde imo should be higher than those 3 and I think Kiljaden should also be ahead of them. Besides that I generally agree We don't know how many countless planets Archy and Jaden have dominated and that's probably more impressive than being some lesser creations of imprisoned beings
I'd argue that in terms of WoW bosses, Archimonde shouldn't be #10 but actually should be Algalon the Observer. While we don't know much of the beings called the Constellar, we know that Algalon single-handedly had the power of the cosmos, able to create black holes as well as stars and rend time and space as we know it. We also know that if we did not stop Algalon, he had the power to, on his own, send Reply Code: Omega which signaled to the Titans that the world required a complete restart. - Also, instead of Archimonde, there is a flurry of other titan keepers that you fight in Ulduar, to the point that if you wanted to fully and accurately create this list, half the list would be Ulduar due to the presence of Thorim, Freya, Mimiron and Hodir. All of which I'd argue are much more powerful than Archimonde due to their feats against the Old Gods.
Those weren't enimes tho. You stop algolon from blowing up the world which he was only going to do because of yog and he's an optional boss. The other keepers are just slightly corrupt. You save them. And they help you.
Titan keepers are golems empowered by Titans, Archimond is an Erdar empowered by a Corrupted, more powerful titan. I'd say they should be on par or slightly below him.
I don't know if this really places him on the list or not, but I find it pretty impressive that it took a planet-destroying molecule-ripping superweapon focusing all its power onto Lei Shen to actually kill him.
Honestly, the power level differences between Archimonde, Kil'jaeden, Azshara, Medivh / Aegwynn, and Deathwing (possibly also Lei Shen) I think are very small and I'd have a hard time picking a winner. I would say that Azshara is 100% without a doubt as powerful as Archimonde or Kil'jaeden seeing as Manny himself stated that she was on par with them back when she was still a Night Elf before being empowered by N'zoth. Medivh / Aegwynn are guardians that I would say are on equal power levels, and Aegwynn solo'd the Avatar of Sargeras while Medivh struck fear into the heart of Deathwing. Lei Shen is up there because he stole the power of Aman'thul and Ra-den and was such a massive threat that the Forge of Origination was used to kill him. The weirdest character to determine in terms of power level is Deathwing, as I feel like he received a massive boost in his power once Cata came out with the Cata lore. In the older books, there is a part where Deathwing gets into a fight with Gruul (not a character that is particularly powerful, maybe on par with Manny or Magtheridon) and Khadgar and quite frankly lost the battle pretty hard, whereas in Cataclysm he was a bigger threat than perhaps even his master N'zoth and could literally nuke the entire planet with one spell.
Man, there is a reason we never actually fought sargeras... He would trump all of the other bosses by a long shot. The fact that destro warlocks were able to control his scepter is crazy. Honestly, we should have only had to sacrifice that single weapon to neutralize the sword, considering both weapons were made for sargeras.
We only encountered 1 avatar and that was with yogg. After phase 1 it’s both him and his avatar. The old gods were destroyed by having us kill their vital organs except in the case of nzoth(stomach and brain cthun and yogg) Yogg was also pretty much free. Noticed the broken chains in the room exactly the same as nzoth and the fact he controlled his jailers? Cthun was also pretty much free back during the war but the war ended sealing him inside the walls
I think Deathwing was more powerful than the Old Gods in terms of raw strength. If you were to pit the corrupted Deathwing against any of the weakened Old Gods (since that's how we face them in game), Deathwing would certainly be the one to come out on top. The core strength of the Old Gods lie in their ability to attack the mind, whittling down your sanity and such. I think people tend to forget just how firm Neltharion's will once was. You have to remember that Deathwing only became their minion after millennia of being exposed to their corruption.
yeah i agree, i do still believe if they were to "fight" deathwing would lose, because the old gods would just manipulate them (ik they were controlling him) but even if they werent they would definitely be able to control him
Deathwing only was that powerful because he was getting power directly from N'zoth. Almost everything Deathwing did during Cataclysm was him using N'zoth's power.
Deathwing wouldn't compare even to N'zoth ( the physically weakest ) in terms of raw strength, the old gods span literal kingdoms, their tentacles would be far larger than Neltharion himself. He's just a super-charged dragon you can't compare him with eldritch cosmic horrors hundreds of times his size.. sure he can probably win against the avatars players get to fight but if one of them suddenly surfaced he'd just get slapped out of the sky.. it's like comparing an old god with a titan.. the strongest of them just got ripped off the planet and flung into the cosmos like it was just a weed..
Won't be canon though since he was just made up on the spot during Legion with no real backstory until mid BFA. It's obvious the main storywriters at Activizzard just pulled the idea out of their asses like Disney did with Snoke in the Star Wars sequels
might be more fitting to rank them based on type of enemy. the couple corrupted Narru's we've fought would definitely rival titankeepers and elemental lords
@@hirumaredx Oh, i'd say pretty easy to place them at the bottom of bad ideas. Devs at one point said they got the idea from playing Final Fantasy. They thought they needed some kind of, something for Blood Elfs to be palidans. Only because they were so fixated on the idea of a Final Fantasy-ish kind of creature to give players of X class powers. Only to regret the idea later. But basically: Naruu are "Space Nazi's"-Bellular Warcraft so probably on par with old gods for sure and probably titans. Look at it the brainwashed and then --enslaved factions of entire races to further their goals-- "strongly encouraged" and "helped" factions of races to defeat mutual enemies. I also submit that old gods, well, bluntly, weak and not as strong as you think lore wise: they're more like whiny kids that try to ride your behind and have a tantrum hoping to get what they want mixe with beigh utter psychopaths. @@Evan-mt7bc Good list, but I feel the need to defend havoc demon hunters and frost mages a bit. The havoc artifact was created by Kil'jaeden so that gives them a little more prestige than just being weapons used by a powerful demon hunter. And Ebonchill was used by Alodi, the first Guardian of Tirisfal, so in theory it could be compared to Aluneth or Atiesh.
Since you had N'Zoth at 5 and Yogg at 3rd, I'd have mentioned that N'Zoth took over the emerald nightmare from Yogg, and had the most major role in its state, even if yogg 'opened the portal' to it, so to speak.
It's kind of a bummer how crazy power scaling has become, lol. One of the things I loved about early warcraft lore was how so many of the super power characters were actually ordinary races. Ner'zhul was an orc, Arthas, Jaina, and Khadgar are human, Illidan, Malfurion, and Azhara are night elves.
To be fair, pre retcon LK/NZ and the last few bits on Arthas was also: Half the power of Sargy, a massive amount of blood pact fueled demon magic (the 3-4 times drained remnants of which gave Illidan his demon form), focused daily charged powers of generations of mages, secrets of one of the settings most powerful spellcasters+another heap of augmented demon-pact caused magic absorbed from the cold corners of the Twisting Nether/back then effectively space radiation introduced psychic powers, all the elemental and warlock knowledge of one of the best warlocks and shamans, the physical training of a god blessed lad trained by pretty badass folk that spent most of his youth getting in top shape and skilled with weapons while having the willpower and ego that would put everyone but the WC2 Slayer and og Saurfang to shame ALL combined in a bundle of resentment, indestructible gear and mastery of a advanced version of a forbidden type of magic banned for being difficult to control. To be fair Night elves were also biologically immortal pre WC3 so that should count for something because if you have decades to learn something you better be good at it after a hundred or so years.
You forgot to add some things about argus he's actually way stronger then you think. His abilities are incredibly powerful . His normal abilities are described cleaving the fabric of reality thats some gogeta vs broly level ability. He survived a powerful blast from aman'thul who used the power of time to blast him into dust only to come back and kill us all (implying 4rth dimensional level of power?) And perhaps the greatest feat in all of wow to date is that he had the power to destroy all if creation and kill every1 and everything which puts at universal + level of power cause the warcraft universe in some cases is described as infinite and has many dimensions ontop of that. All that and he's being drained of his powers for thousands of years. I do believe that if he was at full power he could slap all the other titans no difficulty
@Hydra what do you mean young and foolish ? He was being tortured for thousands of years and he was driven almost isnane because of it. Despire being tortured while not even being a full titan all this time he still possesed all this power to accomplish such feats. Argus by far stomps all the titans combined with no difficulty if he was a normal titan and not this weakened and drained
Really surprised The Lich King didn't make it onto the list. Those same adventurers that took down Yoggy were basically being toyed, and even had the most pious Paladin with the most holy weapon to ever exist by their side. If I recall it took a literal 1 in a million miracle for the day to be won.
Its a really bad idea to try to compare strength of raid bosses based on what happens ingame. For this specific instance the cannon way Yoggy was defeated was with the help of all the titan keepers, and it was still just a small portion of his full power since most of yoggy was still trapped in his prision. We basicly fought yoggys big toe that was sticking out of his jail bars with the help of a couple very powerful beings. The Lich king himself isn't even all that powerful. Most of his power comes from his army, as explained by the lore developers he would lose versus Lei Shen 1v1 but if both of their entire armies were fighting including them The lich king would win.
@@nevermore7285 Calling that saturday morning cartoon version of Arthas we fight in Wrath crafty is hilariously insulting to War3 Arthas. WoW Lich King was an incompetent buffoon.
This may seem like a technicality, but I want to put Nozdormu/Murozond on the list... because he knows when his death actually is, it makes him an almost impossible character to kill if he knows he is not going to die... when he was fought in the raid, obviously his time was up, but at any other time, he'd be technically nigh invincible...
Fun fact! I think it's true that the void lords can only be out powered by the full power of azeroth the Titan who is currently a world soul and incapable of actually fighting
I always though that the difference in stats from WoD to legion was too astronomical, where a tank used to have around 800k hp at the end of WoD they would go to have up to near or over 10m by the end of Legion, or dps dealing over millions in damage. Now i see that this might have been was the visual way to represent how powerfull the artifact weapons made our characters to the point that each one was now pretty much their own raid bosses to pre legion standards. And the power squish we recieved in BfA also a way to visually show all the power we lost when we lost the Artifacts and we were now back at normal levels of power.
I Think this list Would be beter if all Old gods would be puted on one spot no nearly 6. There are many more powerful creaturess in game that ppl do not remeber so clearly as those Old gods and Titans
The matter of the list is being an ingame boss the players fight. Otherwise Sargeras would top The list easily as he's the most powerful titan and even wants to take on the void lords who're considered to be as powerful as the Titans if not above them. Old gods are just puppets compared to the Void lords
I disagree with this list. I have played since vanilla, read every book and heavily contributed to wowpedia. This is my list: 1. Argus 2. Aggramar 3. Old Gods 4. Archimonde/Kil’jaeden 5. Azshara 6. Deathwing 7. Odyn 8. Ra den 9. Helya 10. Lei-Shen The elemental lords are no where near as powerful as you think they are. They are big and imposing but certain powerful mortals can solo them. Titan high keepers like Odyn and Ra den are more powerful. Also G’huun is not a real old god. He’s just a bit of mutated flesh created from them.
So it depends on how you define strength, to some degree. I argue that, while c'thun and yogg would beat n'zoth in a fight, n'zoth is the most difficult for mortals to defeat, inherent to his ability to manipulate the mind. Which i assume the other old gods are pretty much immune to, as their power comes from the same source (void)
I am sure people may have said it as well but I am pretty sure that 1 Alakir is the WEAKEST of the elemental lords and Neptulan was considered the strongest and 2 Amanthul gave his power to Ra-den and the fact Lei Shen beat him would probably imply he is stronger than Archimonde.
I'm curious to see where the constellar like Algalon the Observer fit into this list. They are obviously less powerful than titans, but should definitely be one of the celestial power-houses.
The C'thraxxi are not necessarily weaker than the Elemental Lords, just because it took three Titan Keepers to defeat an Elemental Lord. It could be a "rock-paper-scissors" situation. Paper gets beat by scissors, and scissors gets beat by rock. That doesn't mean rock gets beat by paper.
I'm kinda late to find this video, but i think you've miss someone insanely important of the lore of azeroth, probably stronger than the old gods. If we look at the lore, Algalon is supposed to be stronger than the titan keepers, he's in charge of monitoring azeroth, he's not part of the keepers, he's another kind race, which isn't even a titan one, the constellars. We don't even know if algalon was created by the titans or is part of the ultra powerful "Constellar" race found in our universe. the lore says *Their leader Aman'Thul called upon the constellar*, which mean to me he didn't created them, but simply found this race and asked them to work for the titans. There are only one of a kind, placed on each planets the titans are monitoring, and they are task to reset the planets (that are baby titans, let's remember that) if things go wrong. i actually wouldn't even be shocked to learn that he's stronger than the old gods, seen he wasn't affected by Yogg at all after all theses year, right next to his body. We can also remember that yogg didn't send the titan keepers to attack algalon at all, which seem to put him in the list for the strongers entity on the planet. We can also look at the fact that the most corrupted keeper, Loken, which is completely crazy by the end wrath wouldn't even try to attack algalon. Loken is trying anything he can to protect his secrets, the lore showed it, he's even trying to destroy the other titan keepers and the tools of that the titan gave them, yet he hasn't tried once to attack algalon. he's obviously aware of him, algalon is the supervisor of the keeper, he's the direct supervisor of loken, yet he tries nothing, which proves to me he's weaker than him. it's obvious algalon will one day find the corruption, loken, even with all his power, can't hide it forever, and he's the one that can reset the planet, killing the old gods, the new masters of Loken AND the keepers. That's something loken and the old gods wouldn't want at all and killing algalon would be the only way to prevent azeroth from being reset if not for the determination showed by the weaker races of azeroth (damn algalon is so nice to let us live, he's got a little beating heart that love tiny beings that want to save their planets, even thoses damn gnomes). There's also another theory that could explain why they don't touch algalon at all, or at least can't, but i think it's false, since the old god corruption didn't affected algalon when he was right next to an old god. With that theory, We could think that even if he was weaker than loken, if loken tries to kill him, the battle would simply end with algalon activating the reset of azeroth immediatly while holding loken, and nothing else. in the end, algalon can't be touched by loken, even if he was stronger, since algalon will be strong enough to fight him for a long time, and the reset of the planet would be activated before algalon dies. I genuinely think algalon is stronger than the keeper, the constellars seem to be the closest things to titans, being their direct messengers and a race that was here when the titan awoken from their slumbers (and just the name is an obivous reference to our reality, constellation and planets are binded together. A constellation is a bunch of planets, we immediatly think about the objectives of the race of alagalon, the constellars watch over the planets until they reach their titan form.) just for a bit more lore, it is said *Its primary function is to monitor Azeroth for any signs of corruption and, in the event of the death of the appointed Prime Designate* (here, it's talking about loken when he wasn't corrupted)*, proceed to conduct an analysis of the planet for the presence of systemic corruption in which he would re-originate the planet, bringing about the end of all life on Azeroth.* Algalon said himself *I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without so much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy. I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?* It can possibly say two thing. Either algalon was shown by the titans what his task was and how world ends when he activate the kill-switch. OR, and it's probably what actually happened, it mean that Algalon himself destroyed multiple worlds that were corrupted by old gods before (or at least similar creature that are as strong, since they destroyed the keepers of the other planets and corrupted it beyond saving), yet, he's still here, alive and checking on azeroth, in a room completely clean, where nobody tried to enter. Algalon is the last line of defense in the absence of the titans, he's the messenger, i can't think of a stronger entity on azeroth than him. And if his raw power is maybe not insane (i still think he's insanely strong. he kills the players like ants if we think about it, if you don't show your determination fast enough, he just kill everyone and reset the planet xD, not even the keepers can do this.) , he's got complete power over azeroth itself. I'm also actually kinda sad to see that Blizzard completely forgot about him. he's alive, and a ultra powerful entity. since he doesn't want to destroy azeroth anymore, he should fight, or at least train the players to help them remove the existing corruption from azeroth... we could also think that, as the last line of defense, it's better to wait and check every now and then in case the players fail to remove the corruption, to not put himself in danger and to always be able to have the strenght to reset azeroth at any time.
I think the strongest boss we face is Murmur, his lorewise power placing him somewhere between the Titans and Void lords, even though his lore is extremely limited. We face only his echo, though.

Yo the fact that you split the video into sections with some new youtube feature is so cool. Love it.
Should make a top 10 “How are these raid bosses” list.
Number 1: The big fire doggo from molten core. He is just a damn old flame hound, like how even is he a boss in the raid? He basicaly has the same presence in lore like a random midle of the dungeon boss from wotlk
Murmur is noted in the readable text as a planet busting elemental lord of sound always wished he had more to him in-game, not a raid boss but had potential to be
SubtleBloodshot he definitely has potential for being a raid boss the dungeon boss was a mere echo of murmur, and it is stated in lore that murmur’s sigh destroyed an entire world
@Brian well to find that out take a bunch of lvl 60s give them bis vanilla loot and summon them into firelands
He’s the reason the entire area around Auchindun is destroyed, his death nearly destroyed Draenor.
I'm pretty sure the elemental Lord's can't die, they just go back to their domain and recharge when they get defeated. Idk if this is true, but it makes sense since rag was in 2 raids.
@@socialpollution4182 if you kill them in there own domain they are suposed to die die aka killing rag in The Firelands ( His Domain)
I absolutely loved how the video was split up on the time-lapse bar, showing who was up on the top 10 ten list. I haven't really seen this used anywhere else, and it really adds value to the video, in my opinion.
Come on we all know Hogger, deserves a spot on here.
This is raid boss list, however as a dungeon/quest mob he'd def have the #1 spot on that list :D
I agree what number 10 is highly disputed: fallen avatar, Odyn or Helya could have also disputed this spot.

@@eyoshinthemaximum yeah but that was because he was using the forge of origin I don't think he can actually destroy a planet on his own
N'zoth may have been weaker than his siblings. But lets remember that through sheer wit alone he was able to best C'thun and Yog Saron both in battle when the Old Gods warred with eachother after they established the Black Empire.
The power off being the you gest sibling
i really like that nzoth isn’t the strongest old god in terms of power alone, but his smarts and wits are so strong that he can still best his siblings. i love characters that aren’t the most physically strong but are very very clever.
4:39 - I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that, while Ragnaros is the most destructive, Neptulon is the most powerful elemental lord.

I agree with most except Queen Azshara 100% deserves the spot over Archimonde. You said it yourself, her powers rivaled theirs BEFORE she got a big power boost by N'Zoth.
The drawings are so cute, yet accurate. i love them!
We only ever heard a Murmur, a distant echo of the Cosmic Scream that is lurking somewhere in this universe.
The strongest beings are the gm's guys, comon they come in and out as they please and do whatever they want, lol, gm island, their hideout. :P
Considering Argus is stated to be strong enough to blow up the universe, Murmur is nowhere near him.

Archimonde and Kil'jaeden are planet reckers also (WOD Boss journal When Archimonde reaches 25% health remaining, he summons a massive meteor to destroy Draenor.)
You got something wrong when discussing Lei-Shen.
Aren't night elves immortal?

When someone like Malygos, Mimiron or Arthas isnt even mentioned in the comments, you know there are a LOT of powerful raid bosses!

Great video! Would you consider making a rank video for the leaders of Azeroth? Like Jaina, Sylvanas, Malfurion, Thrall, etc.
Where would you rank Jaina in terms of power, based on this raid boss list?

The Jailer is a titan at full strength, so when we face him we're expected to be more powerful then we were in legion
IF we face him which will suck given how we didn't get to fight Sargeras. And before anyone suggests there's no way we could have, they could have made something like the titan avatars empowered us and made us all demi gods during the fight against Sargeras, but whatever.
EARLY VIDEO FOR MEMBERS GANG
Azshara cant beat kil'jaeden...

meaning C'thun and Yogg are dead.
I'm loving this artwork
I'd recommend top 10 dungeon bosses based on lore as well. There's some pretty neat dungeon bosses who could fit the bill.
Just great to hear this guy saying Malorne and not Malrone, nice video!

I'm surprised Algalon the Observer didn't make the list.
same here... cause he has some kind of "Nuke Everything and Reboot from beginning of all existence"-Button.
@@faol4n654 it didn't reset everything. It resetted azeroth and that 'button' was in ulduar.
I thought that Rag was the second strongest after Neptune, and that the old gods were more powerful then Titans 1 on 1
Lots of lore was retconned over the years.
They are just not as threatening now as they were before that retcon
Hopefully the Void Lords are as good
Juan El Risitas Joya Why aren’t they threatening? They have the potential to trigger the doomsday of the universe.
But Yogg'Saron is still causing shit to occur? Like in the prepatch for BFA with Magni in Ulduar, we see that it's making a resurgence and causing trouble.
Nzoth was in his full form , chtun and yogg saron were only fragments of their real body. I think those 2 aint even dead yet
Jan Terri Because they’re just creations of much more powerful beings
Titan Keepers aren’t nearly as threatening as Titans themselves
An honorable mention or something should have been made for the Lich King, since he's one of only 2 bosses that actually kill the heroes as part of his fight, or at least he used to before we out scaled it.
Ya nerzhul was badass as the true lich king
I will also like to mention that he goes Ez on us and Azeroth, if Uther is to be believed Arthas humanity is what kept The lich king and the scourge from consuming Azeroth all life.

I think you overestimate the elemental lord's and ghuun. Archimonde imo should be higher than those 3 and I think Kiljaden should also be ahead of them. Besides that I generally agree
We don't know how many countless planets Archy and Jaden have dominated and that's probably more impressive than being some lesser creations of imprisoned beings
I won't lie when I saw Rag above Archimonde I was skeptical.
So Mythrax got Yamchaded.
Yes, I made sure to have the artist draw him in the famous pose as well lol
@@hirumaredx For a second I though you released a new story of bfa video
Naga Aszhara looks so adorable in that artwork
Plus ontop of that there is very little lore on Angolan
Titan keepers are golems empowered by Titans, Archimond is an Erdar empowered by a Corrupted, more powerful titan. I'd say they should be on par or slightly below him.
So, on legion for the warrior class hall, hodir gets taken and corrupted by the legion, Legion > titan keepers
Deathwing was only as strong as he was in Cata because he was getting a massive amp from N'Zoth.
Yeah, the most powerful of the old gods is currently dead because he yanked it out of azeroth and just murdered it. It's dead dead
We only encountered 1 avatar and that was with yogg. After phase 1 it’s both him and his avatar. The old gods were destroyed by having us kill their vital organs except in the case of nzoth(stomach and brain cthun and yogg)
Yogg was also pretty much free. Noticed the broken chains in the room exactly the same as nzoth and the fact he controlled his jailers? Cthun was also pretty much free back during the war but the war ended sealing him inside the walls
Awesome, as always!
Every time I go into nyalotha I think of spongebob...that's not the worm...that's his tongue.
Love your videos, best and most interesting wow content, think a top 10 powerful dungeon bosses vid
He's just a super-charged dragon you can't compare him with eldritch cosmic horrors hundreds of times his size.. sure he can probably win against the avatars players get to fight but if one of them suddenly surfaced he'd just get slapped out of the sky.. it's like comparing an old god with a titan.. the strongest of them just got ripped off the planet and flung into the cosmos like it was just a weed..
bingo!
Can’t wait for The Jailer to join the top 3, since that seems reasonable.
Naruu are tough to place, because in lore they are both stated to be super powerful, while at the same time being shown getting killed very easily.

Sargeras had a puppy that he really liked but then his dog died so he turned his teeth into daggers.
Enh Shamans - Doomhammer
Thrall's really cool weapon

A sword that can kill trolls through they regeneration ability but then Warriors learned Mortal Strike and they didn't really need the sword anymore
Fury Warrior - Swords of the Vala'jar
A guy who really liked Odyn tried to kill Helya when she imprisoned him but he died and Helya kept his swords.
Prot Warriors - Scale of the Earthwarder
Deathwing lost a scale and a guy made a shield out of it
And the actual real strongest artifact weapon
Fishermen - Underlight Angler
It's made of magic murloc and we didn't have to use it to destroy the sword so it's way better than all these useless paperweights up there.

Good list, but I feel the need to defend havoc demon hunters and frost mages a bit. The havoc artifact was created by Kil'jaeden so that gives them a little more prestige than just being weapons used by a powerful demon hunter. And Ebonchill was used by Alodi, the first Guardian of Tirisfal, so in theory it could be compared to Aluneth or Atiesh.
Evan the alrachi who wielded the warblades was one of 2 mortals to burst sargeras so the warblades are probaly very powerful
Massively agree
Most of his power comes from his army, as explained by the lore developers he would lose versus Lei Shen 1v1 but if both of their entire armies were fighting including them The lich king would win.
are you aware how weak the Lich King is compared to everything else in WoW? incredibly weak, even.
The Lich King set up a trap and put all the odds in his favor, he wasn’t powerful in the scope of these things but he was crafty.
@@nevermore7285 Calling that saturday morning cartoon version of Arthas we fight in Wrath crafty is hilariously insulting to War3 Arthas.

Definitely one of the best list videos you've ever made, in my opinion. :)
Would love a power ranking video for members of the alliance, separate one for members of the horde!
1:57 Oh, so not the number 10 spot, the number 1 spot, thanks for watching
And the power squish we recieved in BfA also a way to visually show all the power we lost when we lost the Artifacts and we were now back at normal levels of power.
u should make more lore videos theyre always really great
I Think this list Would be beter if all Old gods would be puted on one spot no nearly 6.
This is my list:
1. Argus
2. Aggramar
3. Old Gods
4. Archimonde/Kil’jaeden
5. Azshara
6. Deathwing
7. Odyn
8. Ra den
9. Helya
10. Lei-Shen
The elemental lords are no where near as powerful as you think they are. They are big and imposing but certain powerful mortals can solo them. Titan high keepers like Odyn and Ra den are more powerful.
Also G’huun is not a real old god. He’s just a bit of mutated flesh created from them.
"Also G’huun is not a real old god. He’s just a bit of mutated flesh created from them."
Yea, that's what he says in the video.
@@MrKamex then why he would rank him so highly is anyone’s guess.
the reason why he ranked the elemental lords over any keeper was as he explained it took multiple to beat 1 elemental lord. Seems sound.
Loved that Mythrax Yamcha pose
Awesome video thanks for it.
I'm curious to see where the constellar like Algalon the Observer fit into this list. They are obviously less powerful than titans, but should definitely be one of the celestial power-houses.
What about that level 120+ elite pug that runs around in Stormwind Castle?
A constellation is a bunch of planets, we immediatly think about the objectives of the race of alagalon, the constellars watch over the planets until they reach their titan form.)
just for a bit more lore, it is said *Its primary function is to monitor Azeroth for any signs of corruption and, in the event of the death of the appointed Prime Designate* (here, it's talking about loken when he wasn't corrupted)*, proceed to conduct an analysis of the planet for the presence of systemic corruption in which he would re-originate the planet, bringing about the end of all life on Azeroth.*
Algalon said himself *I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without so much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy.
I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?*
It can possibly say two thing.
I'm also actually kinda sad to see that Blizzard completely forgot about him. he's alive, and a ultra powerful entity. since he doesn't want to destroy azeroth anymore, he should fight, or at least train the players to help them remove the existing corruption from azeroth...
we could also think that, as the last line of defense, it's better to wait and check every now and then in case the players fail to remove the corruption, to not put himself in danger and to always be able to have the strenght to reset azeroth at any time.
me encantan tus videos hiru, Mucho amor desde colombia te envio!
I think the strongest boss we face is Murmur, his lorewise power placing him somewhere between the Titans and Void lords, even though his lore is extremely limited. We face only his echo, though.
TBC had some wild shit in it. A lot of it probably isn't even canon anymore tbh.
Red shirt guy, is all knowing.. therfore he is the strongest
I would love a video about strongest Dungeon bosses based on lore too
Keep the Vids coming my man!
