I do these all the time. Saves on gas, great when it’s super hot outside and love to take them when I’m going to the store to shop for myself. I figure that way I’m making a little money to go to the store (which I was doing anyway)😂 You tell the cashier AND the bagger it’s a curbside order. You need to watch the baggers like a hawk!! Make sure frozen, cold and room temp items are actually separated. Learn where the extra labels are kept in the staging area in case the printer isn’t working. I keep a black Sharpie with me so I can hand label bags if the printer is out of service. Just need customer’s name, date and 1 of X on the label. You will often have to put a new roll of labels in the printer. It’s quite easy, there are some instructions there as well. Most store employees have no idea how to work the Instacart printer, so I just do it myself. If you mess up the count on your bags, you have to reprint the entire set of labels again, so double check your bag count before printing labels.

How do you find the staging area in the stores?
Great question! The app gives you general directions. Customer service employees also can direct you if you can’t find it.
Since the customer doesn't tip, you should refund all but one item that way you still get full pay and you don't have to do a bunch of shopping
Haha… I think that would only work a time or two before IC would stop that. 😂
