Amazing video, Thankyou so much! perhaps you could use this for your q ad a. are you originally from london? if not, how was it adjusting to london lifestyle? if you are, do you know anyone who did move there and their opinions? also perhaps, how is it as a muslim student in the medical school? do you get to interact with different people? ( i ask this because i know people who uni just becomes one society - i.e. isoc- and tend to not really know people outside of that)
pls can you make tips for y13 :)
Will do!
Wow amazing I am in first year I am so depressed
MY FAV TH-camR 🫶 - I will always remember you giving us a flat tour when that rounders event was cancelled 🤣
AHAHAA highlight of the year🤝🏻
me too💀
thank youuu this was so helpful!! i just wanted to ask which medical school do you go to and why did you choose it?
I go Barts and the London, I chose it for a few reasons, the medical curriculum there is very organised and there is very early clinical exposure (fortnightly gp placements form year 1) - I also quite liked the idea of PBL and it is done very well in barts, (theres a good balance between lectures and seminars + pbl) + i quite prefer the fact that it is prosection as I find that more efficient. Lastly the location was also a plus point + the fact that it was 5 years and you didn’t need to intercalate
thank you so much for replying! i will definitely consider this uni. london is quite far away from me but i really want to study there. if you don’t mind me asking, which other unis did you apply to?
@@ro2589 your welcome! I applied to bristol, Southamptom, Newcastle, and Kings college for pharmacology :) Yeah London has a lot of great medical schools, but location is also a big factor so choose what you are more comfortable with
do you have a laptop for med school ? if so what one and what would you recommend ? mine is so heavy so looking to buy a lighter one
This past year I mainly used my ipad for lectures, studying etc., I keep my laptop at home as mine is bulky as well, its an asus tuf 504
@@luluhalim thank you so much! How do you watch the lectures and take notes on the same device if that makes sense ? do you do that at home or at uni ?
Sorry for the late reply! If I don’t go in person, I usually just open the slides and take my notes from there without watching the lecture and I’d put the tabs beside each other (same thing if I’m watching the lecture online I’d just put the tab beside my anki page).
Love the videos, are you libyan?
Thanks! Nope, I’m Egyptian
