Hello - as a first year medical student how did you make notes ? Im starting this year and really need some help? should i do them on notability and import them into notion ? please help super confused
Hello, I took my notes mainly on notion directly for the start of the year and then I would import to anki, but then 1/3 of the way in I started just using anki straight away and making flashcards during the lectures. For goodnotes, I only used it while I was going through my anki for e.g., if I felt like I needed to write a short summary of something or if I kept forgetting it then I just write it in goodnotes so it wasn’t my main note source tbh
@@luluhalim thank you so much ! im starting at kcl soon - did you take notes from your lectures or are there any other resources that are good to use for 1st years? i've heard of a few like lecturio and passmed etc - what do you think is best ? And also did you make the flashcards from your lectures slides from uni too? thank you sm x
@@sue9302 aa congratulations!! I mainly made the flashcards only from my lecture slides / anatomy practicals etc., so basically from the resources the uni gave. However closer to exam time I started using question banks like passmed and quesmed etc. ps. I did watch quite a few youtube videos as well to explain certain topics so sometimes i would make anki on those
Heya for me I excluded unis that mentioned anything about band 3 being rejected etc., most unis only rejected band 4 so that should be fine. I applied to Barts, Southampton, Bristol and Newcastle and went with barts. In terms of your score, perhaps look into unis that have a low entry requirement for the UCAT or maybe think about investing into the bmat and doing it instead.
A video on how you use Ur iPad for med and generally how you revise for med school?
yesss one piece 🔛🔝
cool video! thanks for answering my question! :)
Hey Lulu ! I hope you are well ! Do you wear glasses like the eyesight ones ? If those kindly make a video on hijab tutorial please
Heya! Yes I wear them when I study hehe, and will do I’m planning to film one soon! :)

Hello Lulu, I was wondering what unis you applied to with your Band 3 in UCAT as I also got a Band 3 and a score of 2380 which isn't great.

@@luluhalim Thanks so much for your insight. I will totally focus on the BMAT.
How did you deal with the interest in student loan if you took one out, I’m also a Muslim looking to study medicine but am worried?
Heya sorry for the late reply! I’d recommend you do research on this in terms of the situation of the UK as I’m not knowledgeable enough to answer :)
I’m worried too, what did you do?
