This is very wholesome. Two young tennis stars living up to tennis being a gentleman's sport. Hoping both of them remain healthy throughout their careers..
Carlos has a very clear vision. He understands what great sportsmanship is. On and off the court. Both men will continue to inspire us all. Tennis is such a beautiful and difficult sport that it's wonderful to see just how fortunate the sport is.
I love both of them, such talented and hard-working young athletes, they are always so graceful and respectful both on and off the court, it's impossible to dislike them. As a long time tennis fan I'm just very thankful to be alive while these 2 grind the ATP, hopefully they'll give us many high quality matches in the years to come! p.s. As an Italian fan, I'm particularly proud of Jannik, we've never had such a huge star shining in this sport in our country and I honestly couldn't be happier ♥
The Italian tennis association obviously has done a tremendous job over the previous couple of years with producing so many high level female and male players. As a German I envy you as Tennis here is in shambles.
Didn't realize Carlitos had such gorgeous eyes - hazel/greenish, quite unique. Love these two, barring injury we're in for at least a decade of thrilling matches.
Such a great video and so many thanks to Sinner and Alcaraz for their game, but also their spirit and relationship (rivalry but respcet and friendship) that looks great. For sure, 2 of the great players in the coming years (even if "you never know") influenced by Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. Tennis is such an exciting sport!
As they said they make each other play better and work harder. Also future tennis is gonna get to LEVELS NEVER SEEN BEFORE because they got on tour while Djoko and Nadal are still playing and they can test themselves against the greatest ever played the game. We are living great times in tennis🔥🔥
at 5:03, I hope its not a fans wishful thinking, but that kind of interaction between the two of them really allows both side of fans rooting for both of them even when they're facing each other.
There’s one difference between their perceptions of each other. Both of them are friendly and respectful towards each other, but while Carlos talks about the future, making comparisons with the Big 3 and calling it a “great new rivalry”, Jannik is more reserved. He says that “anything can happen”, and that he HOPES things go well. This may be related to the fact that Sinner was up close and personal with injuries last year, and that he understands, in a way Carlos doesn’t yet, that nothing is certain. Injuries can ruin both their careers in a day. I’m hoping that Jannik’s doubt about the future is just caution and nothing more, because I definitely want to see more of them!!!!!!
I think Carlos recently spoke about what his coach told him about watching Rafa and Novak recover from injury and also their mentality. I believe he learned a lot from it and it shows at Indian Wells. It's true sinner has suffered a lot of injuries, but i love their rivalry and mutual respect. Absolutely fantastic to see. Their match at the USO was surreal. It was ping pong at times. I have not seen attacking tennis from two players at this level like in their USO Quarter final
The difference is Carlos believes he is destined for greatness, being such a child prodigy at a very young age of 14 and 15, and getting the mindset and encouragement from his former number ones, such as his coach Ferrero and Rafa among others. Sinner on the other hand is just more humble and private about his ambition but with all due respect, Carlos is 2 or 3 years younger and has already a more complete game and bigger accomplishments so he has no doubts in his mind. He has the game of big 3 combined in one, time will tell if he has the mentally fortitude to absorb the pressure for 15-20 years like they have. He needs Jannik and Holger Rune for that, for sure to push him beyond his limits.
@@loganthewolverine2030 I don't see Rune being able to push him except on clay or slow hard, but Sinner has all the shots to be his biggest rival in every way. Plus I love their mutual respect and healthy rivalry
@@z1az285 I believe Rune is like a young Djokovic i.e. his determination to be the best and his strengths don't scream out like Nadal, Federer or Alacaraz's prodigious young talent but I believe he's going to have some major battles with these two, more than Felix or Shapavalov or Paul. Watch the documentary of how he's got to where he is today, it's already an improbable story just like Novak's. It's also crazy how much he has improved in the last 1 or 2 years. When the learning curve is so steep anything is possible. Rune and Alcaraz also have a very good friendship, they've played each other since juniors.
The next big rivalry...such a privilege to witness it. And such a classy, respectful, humble, hard working pair! They need to work on their English though lol
@@oscarmetal sure! Everybody should speak as many languages as they can! And definitely working on their tennis should come first. But if they want to be as successful and universal as the Big 3, they will need to work on their English speaking skills. That will make them be more successful and well known around the world, influencing adulta and kids and expanding the interest on tennis as Federer first (and then Nadal and then Djokovic) did better than anybody else before them. And btw, Jannik speaks native German (tirolese souther Austrian accent), but to cater for his current main target audience he needs mostly Italian (which he also speaks as a native Italian)...and English (again, which is better than Carlito's, but still with a lot of room for improvement!)

Their level of English is still in the early stage, but you can detect Sinner flat and remote tone, in contrast with the more basic and spirited Alcaraz. Their voices reflect their style.
Such a pleasure to see this kind of rivalry. Similar to the one the big three had. Imagine if Cristiano Ronaldo was humble.. we would have had a similar one in Football.

Alcaraz came along just when tennis needed a new star. If he can stay healthy then we should expect some high-quality matches at the Majors. It looks like men's tennis will skip a generation; Shapovalov, Felix, Raonic, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Isner, Berritinni, and even Rublev and Sinner, will probably never win a Grand Slam. Alcaraz, with Fritz, Rune and Ruud, seem poised to take over the reins but that won't happen until Djokovic's game starts to decline. 🏆🏆
All those names that you mentioned Shapo, Tsisipas, Berretini o Zverev are in different stages of his career. Shapo, is on a bad streak, in fact he is losing early than before for some reason. Berretini, is having a bad season, he needs a more complete game, especially the backhand, plus a lack of confidence. Tsisipas, is a top 5 almost 3 years now.. So is the most consistent, he only need a spark, missing in his 2 Slam finals with Novak. And Zverev(unlike Thiem, almost gone) had the injury and operation last year, but he is always fighting for the big trophys. So, in my opinion, in tennis can change quickly, and hard work and consistency is needed if you want to be there like the big 3. Now, the turn is for Carlos, Jannick, Rune etc.. To get to the next level.
Carlos is much stronger mentally. Jannik seems to get tight under pressure. He made a series of double faults in Indian Wells that turned the match. At the epic US Open his serve let him down. Not sure Jannik can do that GOAT mental clutch. Hope he can. But that killer instinct seems to be missing. He has a great game Carlos has that GOAT quality He was born with it. They could meet in Miami but if Carlos prevails again I think this rivalry will get away from Jannik. Rune may end up being the better rival to Carlos. He gets tight too but seems to have a more competitive spirit.
@@stefanomartelli1137 in a way. Again Sinner had Carlos on the ropes in the first set. He blew three key easy unforced errors and Carlos rallied and won that set after being down two breaks. But Sinner did improve his strategy from Indian Wells where we Sinner fans saw him lose more than get beaten by Carlos and had physical stuff with his hand. If he wins tomorrow it will help him with his confidence. Carlos’s cramps def helped Sinner. Meddy is still not 100 percent. But Sinner should have a different strategy. He will run Meddy more.
