  • Comparing the two oyster perpetual 41 124300 in blue colour and silver / gold dial. Not quite the stellate dial or tiffany turquoise but I firmly believe they hold their own.

That silver dial Rolex is probably the most beautiful watch that I have ever seen.

its good idea to have the 2 colours but if i could get one it would be the sunray, i saw it in the shop and it is really beautiful. I didnt see the blue dial though.

Although its dream to own a Rolex but i love the tiffany because i somehow connect with it being a Thalassophile, however i am getting more inclined on the sun ray silver because of its elegance and its underrated appeal. I also feel that simple looking time piece is easier to pair with any occasion be it beach shorts, a suit or casual wear. Thanks for the review and congratulations to own such Luxury watches. Love From India 🇮🇳 ♥️

I own a Rolex OP 41 in green it’s such a great watch. Nothing entry level about it besides the price which is still a pretty penny. Very well made and I prefer it over a datejust or sports Rolex because it’s so versatile and clean

    • @davidallen795

I agree the ‘entry level’ tag is so boring, the watch is a standalone brilliant watch which people may choose to buy because they love it!

I began wearing Rolex (sport) watches over 40 years ago; Submariner, Explorer-II, etc...
Then in 2015 I finally decided to upgrade because the old bracelets are junk compared to new.
I bought a few watches including Explorers I & II, Blue/Red-GMT, Ceramic white Daytona, and some Datejusts.
I gave most of the watches away to my kids including vintage and the new Daytona and Pepsi.
I only own and wear a pair of Datejusts and Explorer-I.
The point I'm trying to make is that you own a FANTASIC pair of watches and there is no "Upgrade" in any Oyster-cased Rolex.
The only watch I don't own and occasionally think about is a Day-Date-40
This is a wonderful video and my only advice is to forget about watches and enjoy those two for the rest of your life.
Well done, congratulations, and thanks for sharing!

I really like that its "no date" and its slimer than the Aqua Terra from Omega, which is also a nice watch. Also OP is less flashy. OP41 is the nicest watch in my opinion 😄

Thanks for your review mate, I like both dials and still hesitate which dial silver or blue is better for me. I like the simplicity of this OP41, versatile, sporty but not too much, can be dressy as well, thin...I feel a bit tired of my Sea dweller even it is a very nice watch and i love it, but sometime I just want to wear a watch more simple and discret. I think I gonna go to this Blue dial..if I can get it from my AD.

    • @theaveragegentleman1264

They are both similar but so different. I picked up the silver dial because I wanted something different from the typical sports series black dial too. But I cannot resist the OP blue as soon as I seen it. All the best!

Love the bright (?) blue one. It’s a great watch. It’s effectively a sports watch, 100m WR, built like an outhouse, perfect Oyster bracelet. You can go swimming fairly deep in it, wear it with jeans and tee shirt and yet you can wear it with a tuxedo or suit! The colour is amazing, going from almost black up to electric blue, superb. It’s a one watch collection, pure class. I’m jealous.

Did this video say entry level? Haha entry level for those whom the AD deemed worthy to sell) you one at that entry level price.
Good luck with getting the ad to sell you one if they put you on a waiting list. They have the watch in stock but you don't have any history or for whatever reason they don't want to sell you one. Don't feel bad. You are with the majority of people out there we are in the same boat. I would say just buy used but with this current hype, even the used market is going nuts and cost more than msrp. Just crazy.

OVERSIZE STYL! It's quite peculiar, do you know somethings about proportions? A 36mm watch undoubtedly appears sizable on your wrist. I can't envision you looking your best with a 41mm while in a suit. I comprehend that you consider every watch as a sports watch, even though the name implies casual wear. If you aim to make a statement, propose your vision of a Rolex watch that you would pair with a tailcoat or under a bow tie, and we're sure to have some fun. It seems you haven't worn a tie in quite some time.
