Comparing the two oyster perpetual 41 124300 in blue colour and silver / gold dial. Not quite the stellate dial or tiffany turquoise but I firmly believe they hold their own.

Although its dream to own a Rolex but i love the tiffany because i somehow connect with it being a Thalassophile, however i am getting more inclined on the sun ray silver because of its elegance and its underrated appeal. I also feel that simple looking time piece is easier to pair with any occasion be it beach shorts, a suit or casual wear. Thanks for the review and congratulations to own such Luxury watches. Bro i have the Silver version. OP41 but the measurement of diameter is only around 39.5mm? Is it same with yours? Please enlighten me why Rolex does this. Cheers

The 18K plated gold dial hands on the silver look so good. What it gives up in contrast it makes up elegance.

Silver dial with gold accents is better than the datejust silver . I wish they used gold accents on the blue dial as well. It would have made the blue a bit more special

I'm looking for a nice rubber for my new explorer 2. The oyster bracelet is a touch heavy and I've always found the oyster a little bland and dull in aesthetics to be honest in comparison to my Oris Aquis for example. Do I go this one or the rubber B?

about 5-6 links. it is quite long
Just picked up the blue! From SG too. Prices have softened and I was able to pick it up for about 5% more than retail only. Love that you buy what you want and don't care about resale, etc. A true enthusiast!

I am not totally sure if it works on all model, but should do for the standard ones
OVERSIZE STYL! It's quite peculiar, do you know somethings about proportions? A 36mm watch undoubtedly appears sizable on your wrist. I can't envision you looking your best with a 41mm while in a suit. I comprehend that you consider every watch as a sports watch, even though the name implies casual wear. If you aim to make a statement, propose your vision of a Rolex watch that you would pair with a tailcoat or under a bow tie, and we're sure to have some fun. It seems you haven't worn a tie in quite some time.

I really like that its "no date" and its slimer than the Aqua Terra from Omega, which is also a nice watch. Also OP is less flashy. OP41 is the nicest watch in my opinion 😄
Do you know if the jubilee will work on all black ceramic GMT master 2?
I am pretty sure it doesnt work natively, but I heard changing the spring bars might work

both are great! depends if you tend to wear lighter or darker colour shirt I think
Love the bright (?) blue one. It’s a great watch. It’s effectively a sports watch, 100m WR, built like an outhouse, perfect Oyster bracelet. You can go swimming fairly deep in it, wear it with jeans and tee shirt and yet you can wear it with a tuxedo or suit! The colour is amazing, going from almost black up to electric blue, superb. It’s a one watch collection, pure class. I’m jealous.
It is very versatile and gives a lot of watch for the money ! Definitely one of my favourite
I removed my bracelet easy. now I can't put it back on and I sorta fucked up and damaged the spring bars :(
take it slow and get the right tools

Sometimes the spring bars will get stuck and you have to flick the ends to release.

not always but it is well known 'issue'
its good idea to have the 2 colours but if i could get one it would be the sunray, i saw it in the shop and it is really beautiful. I didnt see the blue dial though.
Yes the sun ray is amazing in person. But you should try to see the blue also it is very striking

Thanks for the instructive video. Do you know if I can use a 127610BLNR Jubilee spring bar with the oyster bracelet? I ask because I bent an oyster spring bar when swapped the bracelet out for a rubber strap. The only high-quality replacement bar that I can find online is for a jubilee.
Yes you should be able to as I have tried it. Not all spring bars are smooth as I had trouble with one too

I own a Rolex OP 41 in green it’s such a great watch. Nothing entry level about it besides the price which is still a pretty penny. Very well made and I prefer it over a datejust or sports Rolex because it’s so versatile and clean
I agree the ‘entry level’ tag is so boring, the watch is a standalone brilliant watch which people may choose to buy because they love it!
