Try to get to see it before this weekend as it’s the semi finals of the World Cup. “That” is a scrum and from which NFL’s the line of scrimmage developed; American Football is directly derived from rugby in the 1860/70s. Oh, you thought rugby too rough but the rest of the world didn’t. The number on the shirt shows the position not the player, so different players can be wearing the same number in different clips. The Springbox are the national team of South Africa, they won the World Cup in 2019, it’s every four years. And have just reached the semi finals again. The other team to look at is probably The All Blacks, the New Zealand team but Ireland and France are very good too, oh and England aren’t too bad. What am I watching?……..the greatest sport in the world, rugby.👍

Yes, actually 2023 is the bi centenary of the formalised recognition of the beginning of rugby, it started in England. Universities in USA and Canada adopted rugby and then in, I believe 1869, you first amended the laws to develop American football. Many many changes, but some things hark back to rugby eg touchdown to score where you don’t have to in NFL but you have to place the ball on the ground in rugby, hence you still calling it “touchdown “.
Actually, we won 1995, 2007 and 2019 world cups. Holders of 3 World Cup trophies. Facing England on Saturday in the Semi's. Go Bokke, bring us back our 4th trophy. I have friends around the world who had never watched rugby till I intruduced them. They're all fans now wearing the green and gold jersey. Definitely check out the New Zealand 🇳🇿 All Blacks! Die hard rugby has a video on them. Being a kiwi (NZer) All Blacks are my favourite team but Springboks are my 2nd favourite, even with our rivalry 😅 Still the two best teams in the world IMO 💯

That is my country, South Africa, white guys are Afrikaners we speak Dutch/Afrikaans, in the world of White people they are the biggest, on average 6"2' and up, most of the guys playing forward are +- 7' tall. and about 120 - 140 Kg. A mixture of Dutch/German and some other DNA makes the men very big guys. The black guys are new to the game +- 20 years or so, but most of them will have gone to majority White Private/Public schools Systems and has picked up on the Afrikaner Culture and are as tough as they come. Schooling in SA is pretty hard, no place for non team players and from a very young age they fight for that Alpha male status, so a lot of fist fighting and muscle building. Interesting point is that South Africa produce such a lot of top Rugby players and there is no place for all of them in South Africa to play for top Rugby Teams so many of them play in European Clubs for money.
No man, I got nothing to win from a channel with a few subs, but you can claim that it is an African country that has the best rugby team in the world where Rugby is dominated by White people, but you did not do your research properly, 1. South Africa is as much African as the US is Mexican, 2. The black players you see in there are 80% not black at all, they are of mixed race, white/brown indigenous people of the land LONG before Blacks showed up from central Africa, and started murdering the Koi and the San by the millions until the Afrikaners put a stop to it. Just for more of a kick up your ignorant backside, Apartheid was a product of the British not of the Afrikaners, get your facts straight. An a last thing, go to South Africa and see how much it is African and PLEASE mention the words Apartheid to anybody Black or White and see how long it will take before you get your little behind kicked. The All Blacks aren't the most feared team, they're the most respected. When the ABs beat another team, it's a cool, smooth and clean affair. The Boks are the Most feared team, because when the Boks beat a team (or hell, even when the Boks lose to a team), it's a brutal, extremely physical and more often than not bloody affair (for both sides). The All Blacks are the most respected, and the Springboks are the most feared, but at the end of the day they're both two sides of the same coin, given that they're the only teams that can beat the other with any measure of consistency.

5:26 thats called a scrum, its used to restart play after the ball has been knocked forward.
basic rule cant leave you hands forward but can leave your foot forward
