I have a 2017 insignia. The "mandatory driving msg" for the dpf is constantly on, it won't clear even though I've put half a tank of fuel in, done the normal drive I do to clear it, nothing. Any ideas?

I had same fault, did a forced dpf regen, using delph,, cleared the fault, and no more issues,

Great video, thank you! I've had the same code come up on my vauxhall astra bi turbo 2015. The code links to the same sensor you have worked on here. Has the Insignia been OK since your repair and relearn i.e. No more limp mode etc?

I have the same car, had engine changed due engine failure, put in a 2013 start stop engine, runs great around town 1st to 4th, but get on motorway & get in 6th, you can feel the engine losing power, if I press the accelerator to much it goes into limp mode, any suggestions.

I would suggest getting all DTC's(Error codes) Read 1st. With out them, you could change several parts & still end up with same fault.

Yes GDS2 will work on 2009 Insignia.

Rmmm did you calibrate the new sensor?..if you dont then the ecu in days/weeks will put the car back into limp mode as it still thinks it has the old sensor on..learnt from experience

It also pays to have an ecu update...sometimes though only main dealers(in this case Vauxhall have the right software)..although some garages might have...in my experience though most have decent software to read codes etc and turn off service soon/engine management but not to update,saves a lot of hassle with an update

To calibrate, Sensor Learn must be performed & should be done every time any sensor is replaced.
Fortunately. I do have dealership equipment /Software. Allowing me to update all modules, Including programming vehicle configurations. Via Vauxhall's online SPS programming (Service Programming System - SPS)

That code does not only refer exclusively to a faulty sensor you were just lucky. I have the same code but only at idle no limp mode and a new sensor. Question is how did you confirmed that it is tha actual sensor at fault, how did you diagnose it ?

I used GSD2 to diagnose faulty sensor

@@TheLightMyFire If you have replaced sensor and performed sensor learn. Check pipe from sensor to DPF make sure it's not clogged with soot.
