Looks good man! I reckon colour match the shark fin antenna to the lip spoiler on the back. That could potentially look good! Otherwise just leave it with the stock colour :)

The car looks really good! But I have to admit I’m not a fan of fake carbon fiber no matter what it is. I think the antenna would look better in the same wrap as the roof or a satin black like your vortex generator. But whatever you like is all that matters.

I got hail damage on my roof and was thinking of just patching it and doing something like this. I got the same car lol, it looks really good. I would match the fin too though
i dun understand why you would as viewers what they should do to their car. i mean its your car you are the one driving it . should be an expression of self not your viewers...
You should use the blade and some heat after to help stick to the roof. Start in the middle angle the wipes all the way to the end. It pushes the air bubbles out and the heat melts and sticks the wrap down

The windows need to be darker for sure. Look at Xpel Prime XR Ceramic tint.

...gold/bronze might be a bit much. why not try to find a CF weave that has gold/bronze filaments woven through it (similar to some CF with blues and reds). Also, nothing wrong with putting a CF wrap on a DGM car. should be enough of a difference for people to tell...
I think the CF vinyl roof wrap looks great. Nice work around the sun roof. I say go with the vortext gen and silver fin. Nice contrast. You are not a rapper (no bling) you are a car guy.
Man, the way you first placed the vinyl onto the roof was hard to watch. Always remove the wrap from the film on top of the body panel you plan to wrap to avoid crunching up wrap. Magnets also help a lot of you're by yourself.
This was my first time ever wrapping something so I was learning as I went! I think the end result came out really good though
How did you put the mold back on using the clips? I have a 2019 Impreza and one molding has come loose. For the life of me l can’t figure out how to clip it back down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
The molding basically has to slide onto each of those studs together, it's kinda difficult to get all 3 at the same time
Looks good. If it was my WRX, I would keep the antenna silver color, and no vortex generator. Nice looking ride you have.

I’m finally getting my ice silver WRX in 2 weeks. Silver WRX’s are extremely uncommon in Australia. It will arrive next week but I’m getting a professional to put PPF on the side skirts/bumpers and some carbon fibre highlights. Then a professional ceramic coating & window tinting. After seeing this I’m keen to do the roof too.
Was there a seal or anything under the shark fin? I’d hate to pull it apart and then have it leak
Yes a small rubber seal. I haven't had any issues with leaking, it's not an adhesive, just an oring

Nice work! Stek makes CF PPF which gives you the look and amazing protection, self healing properties with a 10yr warranty. Awesome detailed video. I even like the fact you mentioned that you didn't order enough material. Dang, that had to be one of those WTF this S**T can't be happening moments.
Looks good I would put extra layer of PPF on top to make it more glossy and it can protect the carbon fiber from the top

I did mine on my own and been on for 3 years now. It’s got a few cracks now so getting some new stuff and tuck under the glass rubber better lol. Was going to lay real carbon down. But doing my splitter first. Coz had a few bits turning white over the sun even with UV clear coat

I would have gone with the Ebay 5D black carbon fiber which looks the realest just like your real carbon fiber spoiler to match your carbon fiber spoiler and you should also do your hood and it wouldn't look badd ass. Put the vortex generator back on and blacken the shark fin. It came out really nice👍

Have you ended up being installing the vortex generator on top of the the vinyl? I have ordered the Metro Wrap Real D 2.0 Carbon Fiber Vinyl Film - 3M / High Gloss as per your recommendation. I got the real carbon fiber vortex generator as well. I was wondering if I install the vortex generator on top of the vinyl, will that hold on the vinyl when the air will flow? Or I have to install the vortex generator by slicing down the wrap. I dont know what to do. because slicing the wrap for installing the vortex generator is definitely gonna be challenging and dont know how to do that actually. Could not find any reference video in youtube as well

I don't think so. It might scratch it a little bit over time but I doubt that it would fully tear it or something like that.

Great so far! Two summers and a winter later, and i haven't seen any fading or peeling at all.
