I received my free bottles this past week and tried it on my personal black Mercedes. It was an easy application and it looks wonderful, the gloss is off the chart. I will definitely be using it on my client vehicles.

Just use the coating, and I gotta say it's pretty good. I'm not sure about longevity, but laying it down was oh so good 😊 wiped off easy, really 0 complains.

I have no doubt this will last a few years, but time will tell as we all get to test this in the real world. Did you notice how slick it was to remove, and how slick the paint feels? It's one of the top tier coatings for slickness. One layer, and it doesn't even require a topper like most other coatings to increase slickness. And gloss is great too. So far so good!
Yeah all my viewers who have tested it and gave me feedback also noticed that crazy slickness and gloss. And it's the easiest professional grade coating I have ever applied. And the fact it only needs a 2 hour curing time is a game changer am I right?? You can release the vehicle to the customer and not worry about it.

Hey Pan just got done installing this on a 1941 Ford Deluxe Pickup. Overall it was a great experience. The application process was extremely easy, the gloss is great and the slickness as well. Very impressive 100% I waited the 5 minutes per panel and I didn’t have any issue at all no high spots, just a good clean application. My highlight of this coating is it actually sticks to rubber seals and rejuvenates them and protects, it’s very rare to find any product that actually protects rubber seals. I’ll definitely have this in my arsenal even if it’s just for my coating jobs and only use it for rubber seals. Not quite sure if I’d totally transition from my current coating I install to this product but definitely in consideration.

cerakotes black trim restore wipes are 10000000% the best for any black trim that is not reflective and glossy. i have tried everything, but the wipes are by far the best and get the trim the darkest and hardly fade at all after a year.
@PanTheOrganizer awesome. I tried 20 products to get my front and rear diffusers and side ones on my mustang bullit to look as close to brand new as possible. These honestly beat the rest by far and actually made the trim look BETTER than factory.

I think Adam's just re-packages their headlight restoration kit. They look identical except the Adam's one always arrives with the towels completely crystalized in the package.

Awesome video brother! One of your best in my opinion. This coating definitely looks very interesting and I like the ease of use of it. With a 5 minute wait time you could coat an entire side of a car then wipe off making the coating process much faster. I will have to look into this one for sure.
I ordered from the Cerakote site in the US instead of the listed Canadian distributor as I didn't want the hassle of trying to get the discount since it's not listed on their site and have to contact them directly. My stuff was shipped on Monday and I received it today via Fedex with no customs charges woohoo. Wanted to get this ordered sooner than later to avoid the risk of it freezing in transit.

I'm not a professional detailer but I've been detailing my own and family's cars (I have 6 in my driveway) and honing my skills on them. Soon I'm going to offer a detail service (at my home) to my neighbors because I enjoy making a car look beautiful again and if that works out maybe I'll be able to expand, also so I can make a little money too. I had to go back and relisten to the $30 part as going to the site showed it was going to be $60. I of course now hear the "per bottle" part. It seemed a little misleading. As a DIYer doing my one and only small sedan, I have no need for an "extra" bottle. Honestly, I'd rather it come in 20ml bottles and market it as 2 for a car and 3 for a truck/SUV. Would give car people some buffer and still have 60ml for bigger vehicles.
I agree that saying $30 a bottle is a little misleading when you have to buy 2 bottles at $60. I was excited to try it at $30, but have no need for a 2nd bottle, so in effect it's $60 for me to try... not so excited.
Now you get to do your wife car as well... Or apply it to someone else's car charge however much they are willing to pay and you got your bottle for free/elbow grease!
I thought the same thing! However I found out my buddy is having his old 65 Mustang painted so we're going to do his car with the other bottle. For the price we really shouldn't be complaining though. I got those two bottles and the spray topper for less than $70 to my door, that's cheaper than a single 30ml bottle of most ceramic coatings. Honestly if it wasn't for the price/value I wouldn't even have purchased it
Take a look at the prices of other ceramic coating on the market and you’ll notice that even if it was $60 for just one bottle it would be an incredible deal

While it is a bit misleading to say $30 a bottle, what isn’t mentioned is a minimum order is 2 bottles at $60. But getting 2 30ml bottles at that price is still a fantastic deal if it performs reasonably well. At least I don’t have to worry about running out while doing my truck and I’ll probably have enough left over for my motorcycle.
One bottle will allow you to coat a few average size cars. You don't use much per application, and it's only a 1 layer system! So the value is tremendous here. The factory direct price on its own is worth the price of admission as they say!

Last year I did clay bar and paint polishing with the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Black Polish then used the Black Ceramic Spray Wax. Since the paint still looked good, I just washed again, then did the iron cleaner (didn't get much off) then clay bar (only on the hood and roof since the sides didn't need clay again) and then ISO wipe. The Cerakote Ceramic went on very easy. The Cerakote paint looks a lot better than just the ceramic spray wax (although I like the spray wax a lot too). Hi Frank. Coatings are typically good for one to two years if unopened and kept in stable conditions (not frozen). Once opened, perhaps one or two months.

The coating is amazing.. Very easy to apply and remove especially on my metallic black car. I applied it for 6 minutes at which point the coating has transferred to the surface and left a "seated finish". Wipe off was extremely easy and let no high spots! I convinced this coating is definitely a game changer. It was so good I decided to order a second kit today!

I used the Cerakote Trim Restorer on my black plastic trim and it destroyed the trim with white flaking and I had to replace one of the trim pieces it would not come off. Even after support from the company the grey/white flaking on my black trim took a year of washing with alcohol and harsh detergents to come off. Be VERY CAREFUL with anything from Cerakote.
This looks amazing. I just bought my wife a new 2024 Volvo XC90 ultimate and I think I’ll use this to coat it. Not sure if it being an onyx white color that it will add to the look, but knowing it’s protected makes me feel better.

To answer your question, this coating doesn't officially require a maintenance topper, but if you want to boost gloss and slickness every month or every other month after a regular wash, you can use their own Cerakote Rapid Sealant ceramic spray. As mentioned in the video, Cerakote is doing a much needed reset on the topic and conversation surrounding durability claims. I think other brands should rethink the way they put out claims. Nobody has the time to wait 9 years to test a coating and see if it really lasts that long. We have all heard of coatings claiming 7, and now 9+ years of durability and those claims rarely translate to real world performance as durability depends on multiple factors: prep, application, weather/conditions the vehicle is exposed to, mileage and certainly maintenance. No two people get the exact same durability. For those reasons, Cerakote is measuring performance in areas truly valued by customers including real world wash resistance. They promise a 200+ washes resistance for the coating. They even made a video where they reached 500 washes and the coating still retained its properties (video linked in the description). I still think it’s safe to say the coating should last many years.

They have actually been producing coatings for years, we just never knew hehe. Heck even I had my eyes wide open when I realized they were supplying many of the great coatings brands of the world. But now, they are reserving their latest coating formula for direct to consumer approach. Pretty awesome!
@@PanTheOrganizer I’ve never used a coating myself (amateur polisher). I use the Wolfgang 3.0 swirl remover, polisher, and paint sealant. Can I put a coating over all of that or would I not apply the paint sealant, but instead the ceramic coating?
Never apply true coatings (glass bottles) on top of existing protection. Ceramic coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat, without any interference from a previous protection. And the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing. Once polishing is done, an IPA wipe is necessary to remove polishing oils. Wow what a set up. Always at the fore front of detailing Pan love your passion. I work in construction design and have started to pay more attention to carbon. Washing your car twice a week feels reckless but I don’t know how Canada manages their water supply. In the Uk most house holds use fresh drinking water for utilities hence we end up with hose pipe bans. Would like to think as a huge company they are taking it seriously as well. There are tons of people returning this product as it seems to be very weak on the performance and not very long lasting. I was very excited and ordered it, but after reading the poor reviews, I am wondering if i should return it. Has anyone experienced this?
Where did you read this information? I am not seeing such feedback in the hundreds and hundreds of comments in both of my videos about this coating. And I would be surprised that people were able to conclude that this product doesn’t last long in the real world so early on, as it has only been available for a little over a month. This is brand new to market… What is your source of information? If you ordered it, you should test it for yourself and draw your own conclusions. I have seen other videos where they really enjoyed this, and I’m sure more will come as people receive their kits and are able to try it. Most professionals got their kit for free, and DIYers got theirs for 60$ for two bottles. So $30/bottle. I don’t see how one can even remotely be disappointed in such great value. Long term testing will determine if it holds up to its claims.

Been doing some cars on the side, I have a question though. My car I paid a company to ceramic coat and wash it as often as I can but the coating doesn't seem perfect. Am I able to "layer" ceramic coating if I wanted to try this on my car or do I need to buff off the existing coating and redo it?
True coatings in glass bottles need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat, free of any previous protection. So you'd have to prep the surface and machine polish the old protection off first, and then apply this new coating, to ensure proper durability and performance.
I am just now applying this new coating to my wife's Tesla Model 3. It was originally PPF wrapped amd coated with xpel procducts in 2019. The original coatimg is still beading like crazy 4.5 years later. But I can't resist to see if this enhaces the luster and adds to the beading! Wow its easy to allly so far about 50% done. Thank you for the deal and the product! Pan you are the man!
Hi Scott. That is not the best way to apply a new coating. Applying a new coating on top of an existing one won't give you the maximum performance and durability. Keep in mind coatings are designed to REJECT things, and you can't guarantee the chemical compatibility of one coating on top of another. True coatings, the ones in glass bottles, need to be applied to a virgin surface, free of any previous protection, in order to maximize their bonding to the surface, hence why we have all the prep steps as mentioned in the video. And the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing. Also, check with your PPF installer, as apparently XPEL voids the warranty if you apply any other coating from brands other than XPEL.
@@PanTheOrganizer I did clean, decon and clay the car. With PPF I can't buff the car. At 4.5 years and regular washing. I felt it was ok to assume the origin coating was mostly gone? With PPF how do you really know when the first coating is gone or how do you remove it? I just finished and the car looks fantastic! I'm ordering another kit for my reserve stash and for my daughter's car. Cheers and thank you!
You can absolutely polish PPF, you just need to be very careful. A visual indicator that there is no more protection on your paint or PPF is the water beading. If you wash and rinse the car, and you see tons of little water beads, and water quickly slides off, that's a visual indicator that there is still protection left. If the water just lies in a large pool of water, no water beads, and is slow to sheet off, then most likely you have no protection left. But reading your first comment, you were saying the original coating is still beading like crazy. So that's a HUGE sign that you still have protection on the PPF. So your prep steps unfortunately weren't enough to fully strip off the previous protection. So could you apply the new Cerakote on the existing coating? Yes in theory. But just keep in mind you won't get the full performance and durability from it that way. I can't be any more clear than this. Ceramic coatings need to bond directly to the VIRGIN surface. without any interference. And the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing.

Just use the coating, and I gotta say it's pretty good. I'm not sure about longevity, but laying it down was oh so good 😊 wiped off easy, really 0 complains.

I have no doubt this will last a few years, but time will tell as we all get to test this in the real world. Did you notice how slick it was to remove, and how slick the paint feels? It's one of the top tier coatings for slickness. One layer, and it doesn't even require a topper like most other coatings to increase slickness. And gloss is great too. So far so good!

Yeah all my viewers who have tested it and gave me feedback also noticed that crazy slickness and gloss. And it's the easiest professional grade coating I have ever applied. And the fact it only needs a 2 hour curing time is a game changer am I right?? You can release the vehicle to the customer and not worry about it.

Hey Pan just got done installing this on a 1941 Ford Deluxe Pickup. Overall it was a great experience. The application process was extremely easy, the gloss is great and the slickness as well. Very impressive 100% I waited the 5 minutes per panel and I didn’t have any issue at all no high spots, just a good clean application. My highlight of this coating is it actually sticks to rubber seals and rejuvenates them and protects, it’s very rare to find any product that actually protects rubber seals. I’ll definitely have this in my arsenal even if it’s just for my coating jobs and only use it for rubber seals. Not quite sure if I’d totally transition from my current coating I install to this product but definitely in consideration.

cerakotes black trim restore wipes are 10000000% the best for any black trim that is not reflective and glossy. i have tried everything, but the wipes are by far the best and get the trim the darkest and hardly fade at all after a year.

We have a fleet of black SUV's, Sedans and Sprinters that get washed 7 days a week. We just ordered some Cerakote and are excited to see how it holds up. We are taking delivery of our 2024 Cadillac CT5 V series in a couple of days so this will be the first test car with Cerakote applied from new. We will let you know how it turns out. Awesome video brother! One of your best in my opinion. This coating definitely looks very interesting and I like the ease of use of it. With a 5 minute wait time you could coat an entire side of a car then wipe off making the coating process much faster. I will have to look into this one for sure.

I ordered from the Cerakote site in the US instead of the listed Canadian distributor as I didn't want the hassle of trying to get the discount since it's not listed on their site and have to contact them directly. My stuff was shipped on Monday and I received it today via Fedex with no customs charges woohoo. Wanted to get this ordered sooner than later to avoid the risk of it freezing in transit.

I'm not a professional detailer but I've been detailing my own and family's cars (I have 6 in my driveway) and honing my skills on them. Soon I'm going to offer a detail service (at my home) to my neighbors because I enjoy making a car look beautiful again and if that works out maybe I'll be able to expand, also so I can make a little money too. I'm 62 so it takes me a while to do a full-blown detail but that just means I'm slower and pay attention to detail (no pun intended) I've used some of the Cerakote products and I got really excited to see they have the little bottle; I can't wait to use it.

I had to go back and relisten to the $30 part as going to the site showed it was going to be $60. I of course now hear the "per bottle" part. It seemed a little misleading. As a DIYer doing my one and only small sedan, I have no need for an "extra" bottle. Honestly, I'd rather it come in 20ml bottles and market it as 2 for a car and 3 for a truck/SUV. Would give car people some buffer and still have 60ml for bigger vehicles.
I agree that saying $30 a bottle is a little misleading when you have to buy 2 bottles at $60. I was excited to try it at $30, but have no need for a 2nd bottle, so in effect it's $60 for me to try... not so excited.
Now you get to do your wife car as well... Or apply it to someone else's car charge however much they are willing to pay and you got your bottle for free/elbow grease!
I thought the same thing! However I found out my buddy is having his old 65 Mustang painted so we're going to do his car with the other bottle. For the price we really shouldn't be complaining though. I got those two bottles and the spray topper for less than $70 to my door, that's cheaper than a single 30ml bottle of most ceramic coatings. Honestly if it wasn't for the price/value I wouldn't even have purchased it
Take a look at the prices of other ceramic coating on the market and you’ll notice that even if it was $60 for just one bottle it would be an incredible deal

Last year I did clay bar and paint polishing with the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Black Polish then used the Black Ceramic Spray Wax. Since the paint still looked good, I just washed again, then did the iron cleaner (didn't get much off) then clay bar (only on the hood and roof since the sides didn't need clay again) and then ISO wipe. The Cerakote Ceramic went on very easy. The Cerakote paint looks a lot better than just the ceramic spray wax (although I like the spray wax a lot too). Hi Frank. Coatings are typically good for one to two years if unopened and kept in stable conditions (not frozen). Once opened, perhaps one or two months.

Can you please put a link to the exact page on their shop for european union customers where I can buy the pro paint coating for 30$/€? I was able to find only products for trim, glass and paint sealant in spray.
The coating is amazing.. Very easy to apply and remove especially on my metallic black car. I applied it for 6 minutes at which point the coating has transferred to the surface and left a "seated finish". Wipe off was extremely easy and let no high spots! I convinced this coating is definitely a game changer. It was so good I decided to order a second kit today!

I used the Cerakote Trim Restorer on my black plastic trim and it destroyed the trim with white flaking and I had to replace one of the trim pieces it would not come off. Even after support from the company the grey/white flaking on my black trim took a year of washing with alcohol and harsh detergents to come off. Be VERY CAREFUL with anything from Cerakote.
This looks amazing. I just bought my wife a new 2024 Volvo XC90 ultimate and I think I’ll use this to coat it. Not sure if it being an onyx white color that it will add to the look, but knowing it’s protected makes me feel better.

To answer your question, this coating doesn't officially require a maintenance topper, but if you want to boost gloss and slickness every month or every other month after a regular wash, you can use their own Cerakote Rapid Sealant ceramic spray. Link in the video description.

What are the durability claims other than the 500 washes? I ordered the coating after watching your video!
As mentioned in the video, Cerakote is doing a much needed reset on the topic and conversation surrounding durability claims. I think other brands should rethink the way they put out claims. Nobody has the time to wait 9 years to test a coating and see if it really lasts that long.
We have all heard of coatings claiming 7, and now 9+ years of durability and those claims rarely translate to real world performance as durability depends on multiple factors: prep, application, weather/conditions the vehicle is exposed to, mileage and certainly maintenance. No two people get the exact same durability.
For those reasons, Cerakote is measuring performance in areas truly valued by customers including real world wash resistance. They promise a 200+ washes resistance for the coating. They even made a video where they reached 500 washes and the coating still retained its properties (video linked in the description).
I still think it’s safe to say the coating should last many years.

They have actually been producing coatings for years, we just never knew hehe. Heck even I had my eyes wide open when I realized they were supplying many of the great coatings brands of the world. @@PanTheOrganizer I’ve never used a coating myself (amateur polisher). I use the Wolfgang 3.0 swirl remover, polisher, and paint sealant. Can I put a coating over all of that or would I not apply the paint sealant, but instead the ceramic coating?
Never apply true coatings (glass bottles) on top of existing protection. Ceramic coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat, without any interference from a previous protection. And the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing. Once polishing is done, an IPA wipe is necessary to remove polishing oils. Then you apply the ceramic coating on the squeaky clean paint.

Wow what a set up. Always at the fore front of detailing Pan love your passion. I work in construction design and have started to pay more attention to carbon. Washing your car twice a week feels reckless but I don’t know how Canada manages their water supply. In the Uk most house holds use fresh drinking water for utilities hence we end up with hose pipe bans. Would like to think as a huge company they are taking it seriously as well. There are tons of people returning this product as it seems to be very weak on the performance and not very long lasting. I was very excited and ordered it, but after reading the poor reviews, I am wondering if i should return it. Has anyone experienced this?
Where did you read this information? I am not seeing such feedback in the hundreds and hundreds of comments in both of my videos about this coating.
And I would be surprised that people were able to conclude that this product doesn’t last long in the real world so early on, as it has only been available for a little over a month. This is brand new to market…

I have seen other videos where they really enjoyed this, and I’m sure more will come as people receive their kits and are able to try it.
Most professionals got their kit for free, and DIYers got theirs for 60$ for two bottles. So $30/bottle. I don’t see how one can even remotely be disappointed in such great value. Long term testing will determine if it holds up to its claims.
That's the thing. It didn't hold up to its claims at all. As a result Cerakote refunded me my full purchase price.
I can't wait to try this coating on my friends 2020 Tacoma. I've used Cerakote Trim Restore and had great results so I'm hoping this works as well as their other products. Will let everyone know how it turns out.

Been doing some cars on the side, I have a question though. My car I paid a company to ceramic coat and wash it as often as I can but the coating doesn't seem perfect. Am I able to "layer" ceramic coating if I wanted to try this on my car or do I need to buff off the existing coating and redo it?

True coatings in glass bottles need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat, free of any previous protection. So you'd have to prep the surface and machine polish the old protection off first, and then apply this new coating, to ensure proper durability and performance.

I am just now applying this new coating to my wife's Tesla Model 3. It was originally PPF wrapped amd coated with xpel procducts in 2019. The original coatimg is still beading like crazy 4.5 years later. But I can't resist to see if this enhaces the luster and adds to the beading!

Hi Scott. That is not the best way to apply a new coating. Applying a new coating on top of an existing one won't give you the maximum performance and durability. Keep in mind coatings are designed to REJECT things, and you can't guarantee the chemical compatibility of one coating on top of another.
True coatings, the ones in glass bottles, need to be applied to a virgin surface, free of any previous protection, in order to maximize their bonding to the surface, hence why we have all the prep steps as mentioned in the video.
And the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection is by machine polishing.
Also, check with your PPF installer, as apparently XPEL voids the warranty if you apply any other coating from brands other than XPEL.
@@PanTheOrganizer I did clean, decon and clay the car. With PPF I can't buff the car. At 4.5 years and regular washing. I felt it was ok to assume the origin coating was mostly gone?
With PPF how do you really know when the first coating is gone or how do you remove it?

You can absolutely polish PPF, you just need to be very careful. A visual indicator that there is no more protection on your paint or PPF is the water beading. If you wash and rinse the car, and you see tons of little water beads, and water quickly slides off, that's a visual indicator that there is still protection left. If the water just lies in a large pool of water, no water beads, and is slow to sheet off, then most likely you have no protection left.
But reading your first comment, you were saying the original coating is still beading like crazy. So that's a HUGE sign that you still have protection on the PPF.
So your prep steps unfortunately weren't enough to fully strip off the previous protection.
So could you apply the new Cerakote on the existing coating? Yes in theory. But just keep in mind you won't get the full performance and durability from it that way.
I can't be any more clear than this.
