That is a Harbor Freight heat gun that I was using. I found out that heating up the rubber on the intake makes it easier to remove and install the carbs on these old bikes. Thanks for watching and noticing that.
I'm in the middle of a complete rebuild of an 86 Vt700c. Very difficult the find stock bikes being worked on on youtube
I know. A lot of people turn these bikes into cafe racers and bobbers. I like the way they look stock.

Do you heat plastic and rubber with a hair dryer?
