Great video, excellent subject and will be doing to my 03,! Previously I had used the ceramic car polish spray that's located in the as seen on TV section at Dollar general. It held up nicely maybe a month or so, but yet still did fade back out eventually
Is this an 02 if so where can I get a replacement bed cover I just got one and I’m looking to fix the bed cover and spray like u did what spray did you use thanks in advance
this is a 2004, to get a replacement bed cover, maybe junkyard or ebay or facebook market place.. or even a google search may actually lead you to some pretty decent ones. i used the eastwood restorer for plastics, but it doesnt fend well with gas, so definitely use clear coat around the gas area
@@Kingcustomz shopping avalanches now, it's the only truck I like, however I did recently see that go rhino sells type of roller bars that can be added on the back of any truck to kinda give it that avalanches look, but still not the same
What's up brother right there on the clan by the gas tank take about a 7-inch to 8 a piece or of clear bar and run it down the cladding just for the gas drips
Your cladding looks like it came out from factory. That’s what I want on mines as it is faded. Not like some avalanches I’ve seen that is gloss painted then cracks over time. I have an 03 avalanche, bronze color Z71, straight body and paint no rust, motor runs like a champ. I live in the Bay Area. I take my avalanche to Reno/Tahoo to Vegas to LA no problem. I freaking love it and got compliments all the time. My next project will be the rear backup camera. Then the cladding spray just like yours once it gets warmer. Thanks for your content.
Oh sweet that’s awesome, yeah check out the Eastwood resto spray the only thing that sucks is it washed away if gas spills on it. Also I have a couple videos of me installing a rear camera if you haven’t seen it.
Apparently you weren't listening, he tells you several times Eastwood restore - I don't recall anything that would be associated or next to that particular name to make an accident on getting people just don't pay attention anymore
Where did you purchase the product am here in canada
purchased it from eastwood.com
I wonder can you cerakote on top of this?
thats a good question, i dont see why not
any updates does it still look great
It looks amazing
Whatd you use for masking? Painters plastic?
I use painter tape. I think it was called frog tape. And just regular plastic I found around the house
Looks damn good too btw! Ima have to try this out!

MY SUN ROOF STOP WORK DO THEY SELL THE KIT FOR THE SUN ROOF ?

I love that idea, I’ll work on that one today.
@@Kingcustomz but how does it look now? I have an Eastwood store by my house and if you say it’s still good then I’ll go there and buy it today

What's the link to the paint you used????
Go to Eastwood. Com and look for the plastic resurfacer. I couldn’t get the link to attach
@@Kingcustomz thank you, this is definitely a game changer, how has it lasted and how long has it been?
This has still lasted, the only issue is if gas spills it does leave a mark. So I would clear coat around the gas tank area
@@Kingcustomz shopping avalanches now, it's the only truck I like, however I did recently see that go rhino sells type of roller bars that can be added on the back of any truck to kinda give it that avalanches look, but still not the same
yeah its not the same
Sir, It has been a awhile since you applied the paint on the cladding. How is it holding up?

Looks great, thanks for posting!
Thank you, for watching

🤔you have to show me that lol
Could you use FlexSeal to paint the cladding? Is so what would the preparation work be?
I’m not sure I’ve never thought of that
Why you didn't say the name of the product?
he mentioned it in the last video after cleaning the surface with alcohol and taping off overspray. Eastwood Plastic Resurfacer.
I did it’s Eastwood plastic restorer
Thank you
Looks fantastic ! I will definitely be buying me some Eastwood. For my 03 Avy !
Sweet dude it’s pricey but I like it

Really looks good. Definitely would like to see the bed covers
I’ll do a video on painting the bed covers
@@Kingcustomz Hope all is well my man, reaching out from South Florida. Did you ever paint the covers & are you planning to do the bed liner?
Hey brother what’s up, I did two of the covers I need to get more paint to do the last cover
How many cans did you use to do the whole thing?
I used 5 cans total, but I need to get one more to finish the last bed cover... honestly I'd buy 7 cans just to be safe
@@Kingcustomz awesome. Thanks man! Thanks for all the content
awe no problem man, I enjoy it
Look very nice bro. Thanks for talking about the torch subject. I put this episode on my avalanche facebook page.
thanks brother, I appreciate that.. not a problem
Did you end up using clear coat? Has washing ur truck affect the paint on the cladding?
No clear, washing has not affected the paint but gasoline does
Lotsa talk ,no action
Lots of action, no talk
looks amazing, you're killin' it! did Eastwood or anyone else say to spray clearcoat afterwards? or is it not necessary?
I haven’t received an email
I’ll call tomorrow
Looks great! What is the product? Looks great!
thanks man, it's called eastwood plastic resurfacer.
