The reason you wet wrap isn’t to keep the fibers from coming off. You soak the wrap prior to wrapping to you can get a tighter wrap. Wrap it tight wet, and when it dries, it’ll tighten up even more. Wet wrapping just makes the process easier and more efficient.
Can you please do a night driving video showing us how the steering responsive headlights work and how far they turn in different conditions?
I can figure out if mine are acting normally.
How much power are you making after the downpipe and is it safe to run on stock transmission?
Definitely safe for the stock trans. The jpipe will add about another 20 whp and some sound as well

So if you are taking off the turbo back or "J Pipe" be ready to replace all the studs and bolts.
The only spot I needed helped on was skipped over 😪
Are you doing tunes to all of your new parts you install?
Yes I had a tune for these parts
This will definitely take the warranty lol

This is almost the exact exhaust setup I’m looking at but keep hearing people talked about the drone with the r400. What’s your experience with drone now that you have the jpipe ?
It great for cruising around town. Perfect tone and volume imo. At 75+ there is a drone in 6th gear.
Do you ever get a check engine light running this j pipe ?
I did not get a check engine light running this jpipe. I know a few others that are running this and have a CEL and some don’t. It’s honestly a toss up if your car will throw a code. I also have another video for an o2 defouler. That should help if you do get a cel for cat
Hi Joe, did you take off the bracket that supported the turbo, if so did you manage to re-install once new j pipe went in? Just watched the j pipe install on ‘Street Inspired’ channel, he had trouble with the bracket and cut in half to re-install..
I did not reinstall the bracket. It doesn’t fit unless you cut it like street inspired video
In your opinion is the Turbo still supported enough without the bracket?

It should be fine as long as you’re not in Cali

Will this mate up with the stock exhaust?
With any aftermarket downpipe you will need an adapter for a stock Catback

curently have an ets catback on mine do you think the ets jpipe is a good option for the vehicle if you do know anything about ets jpipe for the VB?
The ets jpipe is also a great unit! If you have an ets Catback you can’t go wrong with the ets jpipe

Yes, You will need a tune after install. Etune or dyno tune will work fine

so, w/o a heat shield over the cat, are you going to roast your water pump? since cats work best when hot, w/o a cat heat shield, will the cat cool off too fast and will the cat lose efficiency because the heat isn't contained/retained in the cat during and after use?
Good questions. So the water pump does have a heat shield. The 2 10mm bolts are the stock heat shield for the water pump. The gesi cat is designed to work without a heat shield so no efficiency is lost in the cat’s effectiveness in filtering but yes the heat does dissipate up into the engine bay without a shield on it. I have an aftermarket cat shield on the way to stop up to 70% of that heat into the engine bay. Stay tuned for that video :)

Hey joey one question, how did u fix the exhaust leak u had on the mid pipe, asking because I’m having the same issue and it’s leaking from both ends.
I have zero leaks. I just tightened them and made sure they were aligned.

@@BrayanEscobar420 when I was stock jpipe and the invidia Catback I reused the oem donut. With the added p&l jpipe with my invidia Catback I did not use the donuts. I used the supplied flat 2 bolt gasket.
What’s a great Jpipe for a magnaflow exhaust ?
You should be able to pair it up with any jpipe. I love my p&l jpipe. Ets also makes a good one too
So now that you have the ets on. I know is bigger for everything but for us regular vb p&l was good enough? Did you get CELS?

Yes, 100% stock fuel system

@@ootoodles I did. But there is no reason to upgrade at this point. Other shops have confirmed the hpfp and injected is the weak point not the lpfp
Does a catted jpipe pass smog LMAO?
Depends on the state
I pass where I live. It’s an epa gesi cat. It wouldn’t work in a state like Cali.
