    Does turbo lag noticeably increase with the front mount setup or does boost come on pretty much the same?

    With the ets fmic, which oil cooler fits?

  • @crimsonnimbus158
    @crimsonnimbus158 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What do you do with that massive hole from hood scoop? Do you plug it with a thick sheet of plastic or do you leave it open?

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure yet. Leaving it open for now. On the VA when switching to front mount you had room to mount an oil cooler in the stock ic location. In the VB, the piping is in the way. I left it open for now, I'll eventually either block it off or try to find a scoopless hood but I'm sure if one does come out it will be a while.

    • @crimsonnimbus158
      @crimsonnimbus158 ปีที่แล้ว

      @StreetInspired1 I just asked this question on reddit, and someone stated to plug it, since the air pressure from the hood scoop makes the air flow through the FMIC and radiator less effective. I wouldn't have thought of that.

    • @StreetInspired1

      @crimsonnimbus158 I actually made a video on that a while back after talking with my old tuner and didn't see those same results th-cam.com/video/eCufORlSSWw/w-d-xo.html

    Love your install vids. Not sure if you've answered this before but, did you need any sort of flex fuel sensor or kit for E85? Does it show the percentage of E in the accessport like the previous gen WRX? Also would running ethanol like that throw a CEL? I know a Jpipe would as I saw your new video. Just curious as I may end up getting a new WRX. I had a '20 PP with ethanol and DP and it was a blast but it got flooded lol.

    Fmic doesnt add power. But a retune does.

    • @StreetInspired1

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @stijanjija2225 He tried. We maxed out the boost on the stock Intercooler and at some point it wouldn't make any more power when adding more boost and was heat soaking, The Front Mount allowed us to add a pretty significant amount of power over the factory IC.

    This fake Marketing/Advertising crap has to stop people need to realize that the gains presented on this video are not real.
    Virtual Dyno its a easily manipulated tool and sometimes its not consistent(since its a conditions dependent) And can throw random numbers out of nowere and show gains like this. Go get some respectable before and after real dyno numbers on same dyno and same conditions!!

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  ปีที่แล้ว

      So many people do E tuning. It's the most convenient for almost everyone. Virtual Dyno Jets are within 5% accuracy of a real dyno jet. If you want full transparency here it is: every pull was done on the exact same flat road and the pull was started at the same line in the road every time. The only manipulation done was when we chose to do the pull. It's been in the 90s here, so we weren't seeing the gains and numbers we wanted and chose to do the pulls at night time after it cooled down. So we're talking instead of running the pull during the day getting 95° manifold temp, we ran it at night getting about 80°. This is a lot more accurate in my opinion because It's never this hot. Here in PA for half the year it's in the 40s and the other half of the year it's usually averaging 75-80.

    • @Payutuning
      @Payutuning ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @StreetInspired1 That's what Clark told you loll. Take the car to a Dynojet for 2 pulls and report back with results!! the outside temp its just one factor. You can manipulate the VD in so many ways that it's ridiculous to claim numbers on the internet. So you are saying car will only make power if its cold outside if not you cant even do a pull lolll.

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @josemartinez4572 Name one car that doesn't make more power more efficiently in colder weather... a Tesla. If he was manipulating anything, why would he waste his time having me re run the car and re log it to get better numbers when he could've just manipulated it. This game is all about trust. So you believe what you want. Real Dynos can also be manipulated. If I took my car to a real dyno and ran it and showed 10 whp less I'm not gonna be mad about it.
