In this Genshin Impact Guide, I'm going to give you a complete overview of these Characters discussing their Talents, Teams, Weapons and their Free 2 Play Friendliness (F2P).
Especially the brand new Character, Emilie is interesting. So we will naturally also take a closer look at Emilie's Kit, her Skill, Burst, Weapons and how strong Emilie really is.

Navia's normal attacks aren't as important as the skill, but do in fact deal a sizeable portion of her damage, it's just not 1 big number like her skill so people disregard it
right! navias skill also grants her autoattack a 40% damage buff
Navia is fun no matter which weapon you have. I'm doing decent with Mailed Flower.

Nilou is so underrated, nilou was the first character I 36 started the abyss with. Nilous dendro teams goes crazy. I recommend pulling for her a 100%🙏🏻

I personally think Nilou is great as a vape unit too but it's true Yelan/Xingqiu have single target covered and Childe is the better on field hydro driver, and Kokomi and Mona have AoE hydro covered, so they're not entirely wrong

For Nilou, you really dont want to use the infusion version of her skill ever. Nilou will take ownership of the blooms if you do so, and since she (should) be built for HP, her bloom damage will be lackluster.
Though there is tech you can do, by tapping her E and doing two basic attacks before finishing her skill with an E, you save some time since the basic attack animations are faster.
Her infusion can be fun in open world if she has a certain build.

Nahida (who’s in basically every nilou team) can buff em so if your nahida is stacked (which is pretty easy with weapon’s giving 200+ em) then you can get enough em so it doesn’t really matter what you use
Even characters like dendro traveller buff em, theres rarely situations where nilou has not enough em
@@Froggycolouring True! My optimiser shows an average of about 26k blooms for on field Nilou, however for EM Ayato, I get an average of 40k. So yes, she will still do solid damage, but you'd rather have someone else built for EM triggering them. She's only lackluster in comparison.
I do think levelling up the normal attacks for Navia is still worth it. It helps get extra crystallise reactions and does pretty good damage damage if she’s played as an on fielder especially when using normal attacks to fill the gap between her two skill uses. Also for Nilou, instead of ER weapons, EM weapons are better as EM effects her Bountiful Bloom damage as well - so Iron Sting is actually a decent f2p option for her
Her normal attacks do a decent portion of her damage, idk why he thinks it doesn't

about Nilou..i can gladly use her in her team thats not a problem for me and had the opportunity to see her gameplay and I really fell in love with it , since then I wanted to wish for her but I still don't know if I should choose Nilou or Yelan.
Yelan seems great and will fit on my acc very well since im planning to pull for characters that i could use to her team , but I'm not very good at playing with Bow users and I don't know if i would like it (Unfortunately, I have no way to see if I like her style, my only option will be on her banner and then I won't go back to Nilou's )

Yelan isn't play Bow play style like Ganyu, just Xingqiu side buff. Not realistic feel to satisfy

Sadly I already have navia, not a big nilou play style fan and I only pulled on her weapon coz my furina is been sitting with a 4* for 8 months and I don't have nahida :(

Ikr she's so braindead, like just get her to 90 leave the talents and crit, hp hp hp on her, er on dendro applications aside from nahida, all em on kokomi or barbara and u got an f2p team doing 30k to 35k bloom :D

Navia's best teamcomps are set up as follows:
1.: Navia
2.: a 2nd geo unit for geo resonance. I'd recommend Zhongli or Albedo for their off-field geo application. Technically Chiori would work too, but it'd feel bad that she can't spawn both of her little thingies, as Navia has no geo constructs, and there will be no 3rd geo character.
3rd-4th: 2 character from an element she can react to (cryo, hydro, pyro, electro) that can preferably either apply their element off-field, or give Navia some other type of advantage. It'd also be nice, of those units were of the same element, so they won't remove an applied element from opponents before Navia or the off-field geo applicator can hit it to crystalize. meaning the characters I'd recommend for slot 3 and 4
pyro: Xiangling, Bennett
hydro: Furina, Yelan, Xingqiu (or a very high ER Ayato to spam his burst, but that's not better than the rest here, and is probably harder to make it work)
electro: Fischl, Yae Miko, Shinobu. (I'd personally recommend C6 Fischl the most out of these, while Shinobu can fulfill the healer role, but with Zhongli, it's not likely that you'll need a healer at all, similarly with Albedo's geo application, you'll likely have crystalize shiels during the whole fight)
cryo: Charlotte? Layla? high ER Ganyu similarly to Ayato above? the cryo options for off-field element application are sadly not the best available. Ganyu is great, but her burst is of secondary concern in comparision to her charged attack. If she'd be on the team, it'd be better to have her act as main DPS, and build the team around her instead. She'd really enjoy Zhongli's shield for interruptoin resistance as well, or Furina's off-field hydro application, or Xiangling's pyro, maybe Bennett's buff, etc.
anemo: technically she can't react with it, but apparently there was a team with Xianyun and Navia plunge going around that slaps. Don't ask what else that team had, I have no idea.
The Melusine event claymore is INSANE on her. It fits her both in looks and stats. I'd say it probably outperforms R1 5 star weapons other than her signature on her.
Nilou: she's kind of restricted to Nilou Bloom if you want her to be effective. Similar to Chevreuse being restricted to overload. I'd say she's probably the best if you have a really good off-field hydro or off-field dendro applicator, and an on-field unit for the other. Heck, she can even BE the hydro one. For hydro, I'd recommend Furina, Yelan, or Xingqiu, for dendro, Nahida or Baizhu. If you have a unit of one such element, with a really good element application rate, I'd recommend an on-field unit of the other one. For example, a great team setup I could imagine looks like this: Alhaitham, Yelan/Furina, Nilou, Baizhu/Nahida. In this specific team, Nilou is literally just a buff for the bloom reaction.
Emilie: Questionable, not enoughinfo about her numbers yet. Burning can work for melt, so it's not a completely dead reaction, but currently we have no other reason for anyone to build for it. Currently as I see, Emilie + Xiangling + Cryo main dps with not too frequent, but big hits, like Ganyu would work, but gotta see to know for sure.
Yelan: Imagine Xingqiu on steroids. After taking some speed. She's great for off-field hydro application for any character that relies on basic attacks. I'd recommend her for Arlecchino, Hu Tao, or really ANY normal attack reliant main dps that can react with hydro. Also, unlike what the video sais, I'd recommend the Stringless for her, especially on R5, for that passive. As she deals most o her damage with her burst, and reaction teams usually like having higher EM.
For how high I'd rate these characters:
Navia: She's great!
Nilou: She's niche, but in that specific playstyle, she's great!
Emilie: questionable, we'd need more info aobut her through testing to know for sure. Will probably synergize with Natlan characters, but even that is uncertain.
Yelan: SHE'S GREAT!

your recommendation for Nilou makes no sense she is giga OP , she can clear abyss with subpar relics and talents at level 2 , yea she can only be played in 1 Archetype but if ur talking about teams as if they matter apart from the V1 Op 4 star supports And Certain 5 stars like Kazuha and Yelan, most chars in this game really only have 1 good archetype for end game (i.e. abyss and theater) and for all other content it doesn't matter, also she has the easiest to access F2P team of , Dendro MC , Barbara and Collei meaning , u get a Nuviletee dmg level team on the cheap (now to get there you do need Collei Cons , but the other cons dont matter really) , basically if you like the char and the Dendro core playstyle she should be 100% being pulled , Yelan is ofc OP and if u have a driver for the Archetype you want to play with her on your account she is also a sure pull but otherwise she actually should not be pulled , your other two takes on Emile and Navia make sense though
It’s nice to see that me, as a newer player, since January, is thinking the same - Yelan. I hopefully have years of play in me to eventually get the other characters.
Pull yelan if you're not sure, she fits into a bunch of teams and buffs your on fielder also f2p friendly slap on fav bow and you're good

I have to assume that Kirara will be one of the four star characters on the Navia/Nilou banners. It only makes sense to include her since she is getting a new skin and she is dendro which fits with Nilou.
As for the other two, Kaveh is way overdue and it’s around time for a Candace rerun as well as Charlotte and/or Chevreuse. I doubt they’ll run Chevreuse without an Electro character though.

I got Navia during Her Baner, and I can say that She,s Great with Beidou. As I also have Yae and Furina, in My Opinion it's Perfect Team for Her.

I want Nilou so badly, alot of people say she isn't good and to not pul for her but I really want her and after her I might start saving up for Nahida rerun (archon rerun cycle) and then I may or may not get emilie even if she works best with burning, Ill try using hyperbloom or if not Ill try a burning team with emilie,

Pull for the characters you like. If you want Nilou, pull for her. Ignore the meta. She is strong and easy to build. Some people don't like her because she is niche but for me that was a positive. I like easy to build, powerful teams and Nilou bloom is that.
If you want Nilou get her, people who say she isn't good just don't understand her playstyle, but she makes strong teams and they're very F2P friendly.

The thing with Emilie is that her damages goes down a lot without a burning team, wich makes her very niche and not a must pull in my opinion , if you are not in a hurry , its better to wait for her rerun or Nahida Rerun, or the New Dendro Claymore character from Natlan.

My only two 5-stars are Arlecchino and Furina, but I still think I'm gonna go for Yelan because she is on one of if not the best Arle team comp and in general she's just such a good character too have. Furina already is amazing for hydro sub dps but because I don't have a good off field party wide healer and Arlecchino can't even heal it's not really ideal sadly. I guess I will just keep her for doing bosses or domains where I need great damage, but it's kinda sad cause I love her so much as a character and she's soo good for exploring.
Well, all of this is IF Emilie doesn't have great numbers. I don't really like her as a character so I'm already kinda doubting about her, but if she for some reason has like insane numbers I guess I could pair her up with Arlecchino? Idk

meta wise, i think in a lot of case if you already have furina and xingqiu you dont need to pull for yelan. but at the end of the day tho pull whoever you want, regretting for not pulling who you want feel harsher than for not pulling who you "need" imo
@Juvii_dd You should pull for the character you want most, Yelan isn't a must have - especially in your case
if you have xingqiu, you don't really need yelan. the only situation where you would is if you need both of them in abyss, but I wouldn't recommend wishing for a character JUST so you can use them in abyss.
on the other hand, if you want yelan because you like her, get her, but not if you just think she's "necessary"

The only reason is bc she's more niche, you can do 3-1 other element teammates for Navia, Nilou can ONLY have hydro and dendro if you want her to be as powerful as possible. Navia is a lot more flexible. I will say, it's easy to get good teammates for her, even Barbara is a good option, but you probably can't use her in a lot of abyss floors ( long term thinking ), it'll be hard to play co-op efficiently and there's not a lot of hp swords, like, at all
Well, i have the diluc's signature weapon and i am f2p is Navia still "meh" for me ? (My only 5 star dps is Arlecchino and i need a dps character) I have Furina, C6 Xiangling, Xingqui and Bennett for her and i am planning to get Yelan and Zhongli in the next banners what should i do?? I think this video is focusing on meta, so honestly we can just pull whoever we want because they all work if you build them right and put them in good teams (although yes in terms of meta navia is the best to pull as she does the most damage with the least effort)

honestly cant decide between nilou, yelan or emilie, i have furina and xingqiu already, i mostly run quickbloom with furina on one side and raiden hyper on the other so never really used xingqiu so idk if yelan is worth, but she is a very strong character, emilie and nilou opens up blooms and burning... arggghhh i cant decide

Nilou doesn't really support alhaitham, if youre using hyperblook, sure, but you can also use bloom w nilou if you had nahidas
Yelan is very versatile and can be used in nearly every unit. Personally for me, id pull for yelan cause you can slot her in with your alhaitham. But pull who you want to
Nilou and alhaitham aren't that compatible. But Yelan is very versatile and you can use her in so many teams, including alhaitham team. She's my hydro support for him as well. I'd recommend going for yelan.

I dont think that will work well, you should try navia bennet xainling and another geo character
if ou need geo i conscider zhongli cause of his constant geo dmg good for crystallize with navia if you dont have zhongli maybe ninguang or other

I kinda need Navia due to not having any other decent Geo units. Noelle and the other pole arm one just don't cut it sometimes. So I pulled for Navia and lost the 50/50 twice... One on the original banner and once now. To Dehya...
I thought about pulling for Nilou, but I have plenty of Hydro already that I can't even all use. Looking at Emilie, I might consider her for bloom and burn together, but it's not as needed. I also thought about pulling for Yelan, but it's the same Hydro situation again.
Emilie then comes up, but thinking about Natlan, it might actually be wise to save up again and try to get a few Natlan chars as they might provide unique powers with the saurian companions, that could be helpful in the new region.
Really happy about Navia and will be pulling for her, but .... where did they hide Wriothesley? 😭

I'm so conflicted because I know that Yelan is probably the best option for the teams that I have, but I just really really hate her. Like I have never hated a character so much based purely on vibes before. Even the way she moves is just so infuriating to me ... but then I know that she'd be super useful. Urg.
Simply don’t pull for someone you don’t like. Content is easy enough to be cleared with any character. I have never even attempted to pull for Childe despite him being a beast especially in the earlier years of Genshin because I just hate his character lol, never hurt my ability to clear content or create fun teams.
What beef you've got against mommy yelan man, if anything I would say she is more likable than most characters
She's a very good unit, but you literally can't *need* her, because Xinqiu does the same and some things even better. She's only better for exploration and personal damage, but there are others that have that too.
@@alctalks1487 I would argue that that’s exactly the reason why an account would “need” her. Xingqiu is an extremely valuable unit to have, and having a similar character significantly increases your team building flexibility and options. Not to mention using them together in some teams results in crazy dps and convenience. Sure, Xingqiu has slightly more hydro application and damage mitigation/interruption resistance and a bit of healing, but Yelan’s personal damage and buffs more than make up for it.
Then again, the game is easy enough to be cleared with whoever you want. So no character is truly a “need” unless you really want them in your teams.
Between Nilou Bloom meta and Emelie burning meta, who should I get.

problem is i want nilou, emilie AND yelan. will probably pull for emilie since all of my 5* have come at 75+ pity and i really like forgotten reactions like burning (same thing happened to chevy, she works with overload) but yeah. unless a miracle happens and i dont lose the 50/50 and the 5* comes early, i will pull for emilie only

Anything for Navia (she's guaranteed) and I might pull for Yelan because of exploration
If you use Albedo with that artifact set where you can get the geo damage bonus when you have shields and run him with Chiori,(or any geo for geo resonance) he can also deal damage. I would get Navia just because i can see her amazing with a team with Venti, Venti can swirl all the enemies to one spot and Navia can one shot them, along with Albedo and Chiori/Seigweinne as a support, it's actually pretty good
Would get Navia just vecause i love her idle animation
If i don't have enough primo, ill be saving for Raiden because Seigweinne Raiden Venti and Albedo would be a really good team, with raiden as DPS and support. I really need Raiden

Another team for nilou: hu tao xingqiu nilou shield, her of field skill with xingqiu burst can apply enough hydro to vape consistantly with hu tao, or arlecchino ofc
You can already vape consistently with just Xingqiu on Arle adding more hydro is just a waste when you can put other supports on that slot and for Hu tao MAYBE you can use Nilou for hydro resonance but thats it

I'd say try if you can get your Burst back on cooldown 😉
The high ATK of the Harp unfortunately doesn't help because she scales with HP so it's just the Crit vs. ER...
If you have Fischl or any other Bow ATK scaler I'd say you're off better giving them the Harp 😉
Im back to genshin and i have raiden(with her weapon),alhaitam,venti and keqing as my 5 stars and basically all 4 stars that were realeased before sumeru. Im thinking on pulling a new dps,should i pull for navia or nilou?(Im not pulling yelan bcs i already have a pretty good xingqui)
Okay so apparently Navia is a better dps, she deals huge numbers and also Yelan teams mostly include Xingqui in it. You can go for Nilou but I'm guessing you want to try something new as you already have a bloom team or smtg with Alhaitham
Should I wait for Yelan or go Navia? Not going for Nilou 'cause I lack good characters for bloom. I also want to try and get the key of khaj-nisut for Furina since I heard its good on her but I dont have that many primos and I heard the weapon banner usually sucks.
That heavily depends on what characters you already have on your account. I would say 90% of the time yelan is the better choice simply because she is unparalleled in her hydro off field application and she is very versatile and can be used in pretty much any team that requires hydro-based reactions. Then again if you don't have any main dps characters that you really like or have built, maybe going for Navia would be better. With that all in mind you also need to consider whether you just *like* Navia more and don't really care about meta, because if so, you should just go with whoever you like more! Also furina is completely fine with many f2p weapons, key of khaj-nisut is JUST BARELY better than r5 fleuve cendre ferryman (which you can get for free) so I don't really think it's worth your primos, unless you have enough to spare for both the weapon and a character of your choice. well im not a professional in all this party thing, but i dont think it is going to work. There are 4 dps in one team, u need at least just one dps and one sub-dps, then the otter part are the supports.
F2p teams for navia i recommend are:
Navia, Ninguang, Xingqiu and Bennett.
Navia, Ninguang, Xiangling and Bennett.
Navia, Ninguang, Fischl and Bennett.
(I don't have navia, but it might help)
Any team can work as long as the characters are well-built, honestly. But it might be better to create more standard teams like the person before named

no she doesnt really fit in that team specifically since neuvi cant make use of yelan's ult. she's better suited in hu tao or arlecchino teams, or in pretty much any team where the main dps does their normal attacks a lot

I would say Yelan! but you can pull whichever character you want (:
Depends on what you need! If you are looking for meta klee and eula arent the best. (Ofcourse they can ve good but not the best which is not a bad thing)
If you want dps diff neu
If you want support go for furina
C2 layla isnt that great, layla is a good shielder and doesnt need that much to be good just stack HP on her
C4 xongqui and c1 bennet are good choices and can help you build pity but for the risk of getting a 5* you dont want
Another thing about 4stars is that they have no garentee so you should make sure you are on low pity and also there is a chance you wont get them
A good way to decide if you dont care about meta is you put all the things you like about all the charecters and see which one appiels to you most
I'd probably pull for yelan and then then you can run a hyperbloom team and neuv hyper carry

Bruh. Her NAs are irrelevant if she's a switch-in sub-DPS, if she's the main DPS, her NAs are 2nd priority, with her Skill always being 1st of course.

I tried to get Sigewinne but lost the 50/50, and when i saw that nilou and navia would rerun at the same time i was very happy but also very sad because ill probably be able to only get one...

Get Navia, the first characters in a new region are usually outdated immediately, think Lyney and Lynette
