After months and months watching all your reviews I finally decided to back this one. I took the 22L version as I mainly want to use it at work and I am quite a minimal packer. I hope it will be just the right size for a sleek look. (Wish you would have wear both size to compare the look). In had in mind the Wandrd Duo (but bad zippers), the Aer Flight (but don't like back padding, bulky handles and internal lining) and all the jet-pack-like bags from peak design (love functionnalities but too sophisticate for me). Sincerly, thank you for doing what you do that well. I would never think watching reviews could be that fun, you have a great fan from France buddy !

Is the upper space in the front quick access pocket above the zipper useable? Seems like it should be designated volume for the expansion of the built-in tech pouch but kind of looks like its accessed from the front pocket which might make it wasted space?

This is more of a personal interest, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on how the 3 stack up as an EDC/Minimal Travel bag! Thanks for the great videos!!
@@davidjoseph4459 Totally hear you! My biggest concerns is that the 21L might be a little small while the 30L might be a little too big for EDC (dang Goldilocks Philosophy lol) and that it still feels a little too "dad bag". However, I've only ever heard great things about TB's bags!

So my understanding is that the Synik 21L is supposed to be the equivalent of the Synapse 19L and the Synik 30L is supposed to be the equivalent of the Synapse 30L. I know I'm rambling but I just think it's a little interesting. I still really appreciate your input!

What do you think of this vs the forge? I bought a forge 2 months ago and I'm kinda bummed this wasnt out yet, might've gone with the shadow to be honest.
this vs forge is an interesting question. Forge is a very specific tool: conversion travel + daily carry bag. This is a solid everyday carry bag for lots of us. Overall, less zippers and straps on this one, which is important to me in everyday use.
Me too, especially since i scooped the BE TKS Sling, which just arrived a couple of weeks ago (the one that he shows briefly). Need an external pocket capable of handling a small/medium-sized water bottle or an umbrella. Having my water bottle inside the pack is a non-starter, as is the non-removable tech pocket (redundant to the TKS).
Does the bag have “feet” on the bottom to help it stand up? Did I miss that part of the review? Ya know...it’s 6 am, it’s dark, I’m trying to make coffee and feed my 7 year old before school...may have missed it.

Just got the tech organizer cut off. It was kind of bulky, not enough volume, not stretchy. So much better now)
The back panel - the wall in contact with your back - has a sort of hidden pocket that is the perfect place to carry your "Business Papers"

Man such a clean minimal bag, then they go and stitch in that tech pocket? That killed it for me.
For me it was the floppiness and sagging that occurs when using the bag handle.
