9:58 when I saw the name Hank, I instantly recognized that name since a few months ago, when I queued for everything and somehow got passtime with my friends, we played against him. His skills in passtime are so incredible good he is so memorable. Even his steam profile is full of comments of people complimenting his passtime skills.

Actually, I was surprised by exactly the same thing! Although I can confirm that was the *only* PASS Time server. It didn't make it into the cut, but I actually spent a lot of time quitting that server and trying to find another when Hank was on the other team, but kept getting put back in that one 😅 I'm not joking when I say that guy was a GOD. Unless you were equally dedicated to PASS Time - which obviously I wasn't - then it was basically 100% impossible to win against him. And through the weekend I recorded this (kept it under 24 hours total though, in case you haven't seen pinned comment), he was ALWAYS there. Literally! I think I remember a brief 30 minute window where it was a genuine close match between a bunch of people just messing around like me, but the entire rest of the time, if Hank was there then whichever team he was on would win every round on repeat. I'm just glad he ended up being on my team at the end so I could actually get that achievement before the time ran out!
Pass Time has three maps. Doomsday has *one.* Though I have seen people start at DeGroot Keep, then on some occasions, they'd vote for a different Alt Map than DeGroot.

It’s a shame doomsday isn’t played more. Back when it was new, and even up until about invasion, I would play in it nearly exclusively. It truly is a great map and game mode.
I know it wasn't popular for a while, but since VSH and Selbeyn are "Alternate Maps," Doomsday also shows up in the voting queue now. It's getting more popular lately, about a week after this video dropped.
... Though maybe it's because of Casperr that Doomsday got more popular. You know, beside the bot issues plaguing the Summer Maps lately. (Or at least, I've had trouble getting to Selbeyn and Venice without bots overrunning the place. Sigh.)
5:15 I think I might have a theory as to how you got that achievement. There's a bug with the Share Canteen Effect upgrade on Medic. If you use your Ubercharge Canteen THEN latch onto a player with the medigun, the Ubercharge effect doesn’t transfer to the new player. What I think happened was that the medic that was healing you popped his own Ubercharge Canteen. Because the Medic was technically sharing the Ubercharge Canteen with you, you technically had Ubercharge Canteen effect as well. But because of the bug, you didn’t notice. As for the 15 robots, I don’t know. Maybe the Medic earned the achievement in that moment, but already had it. Meanwhile, because you were linked to the Medic via the medigun, the game mistakenly gave you the achievement as well.
I honestly think that the headshot a parachuting Soldier achievement right now is going to be practically impossible unless you get a friend or helpful stranger to gift it to you. Not because it's particularly difficult (although it's not exactly easy either), but because no one uses the bloody parachute anymore! The best chance to get that was in the days and weeks immediately after the update and, well, that ship is long sailed
The other day I got the 'Hipshot' and 'Prime Cuts' achievements on the same match of Landfall, and it was so much fun. Kept a pad of paper and pen by my side to track which classes I had left, and after an hour I got all of them. I'll never use the Classic again, but that match was something special.
When I was still a f2p 3 years ago I got the doomsday achievements by starting a private server and very very slowly pushing my team of non moving bots onto the elevator. I used a lot of stupid mind tricks that day, and I got all the achievements needed for the hat. I later discovered SAM exists...

There where a couple of community passtime maps in dev a while back and it was funny to see people constantly getting Jackpot during playtests of them.

No, I’m not using my 50 elixirs even at the final boss, because I’m doing just fine, thanks. I’ll use them when I need them, it’s just that for most of the game I really don’t.
2:37 upper hand can be incredibly easy and lenient and practically free, as long as you know where to do it (I recommend 2fort) What you’re gonna wanna do is rocket jump and deploy your parachute, but keep space held down. Now land in the 2fort water. Congratulations, your parachute is still classed as deployed until you touch the ground, yet you’re skipping on the surface of the water. Take your time in killing people coming out of spawn :)
I like to think that he got the uber canteen because he killed 15 robots while having the uber canteen *equipped*, like maybe someone fucked up and it only counts like *how many kills have you gotten while this canteen is at this number*, but someone fucked up and it can't be 0, and also, someone fucked up and allowed it to count kills with the only restriction being that you won't get the achievement unless you have a canteen active. So TLDR, I think he got 15 kills total while he had 1 ubercharge canteen, and because he got his 15th kill while he was under a canteen's effect, it still counted as the fifteenth kill of that canteen.
I also have been returning to mvm acheivements after many years, and had the same experience with German Engineering. I was playing fan of war scout and didn't even directly kill an enemy, nor did I have a canteen equipped.
So ok, this is a little off topic but I did end up finding an odd glitch in the past. I found an instant unusual crate from the Halloween transmute back in 2019. I was just farming transmutes one night and I ended up with a crate rather than a cosmetic but the crate displayed all the unusuals available in said crate. I marked that crate and opened it a few days later and gave me a, at the time, 1 of kind unusual type on the skullbereo.
A funny yet unfortunate thing is there _are_ some achievements that are genuinely impossible to get these days if you didn't already have them [unless they were fixed at some point and I just missed that memo] Namely Pyro achievements that involve setting people on fire with the flamethrowers, as those achievements specifically tracked the old flame particles from pre-Jungle Inferno And I _think_ some Sandman achievements are also impossile because they involved stunning enemies which, y'know, the Sandman can't do anymore Obviously those won't be hitting the bottom of the achievement rarity list any time this century, but still
1:47 Funny story I got this achievement when I only had 35 hours on tf2. I was playing dustbowl and somehow I got it. Here the funny thing I got the achievement while the enemy engineer was building his sentry and I wrangles it down. I don't how I got it first try accidentally , while not even trying.
About 10 days after this video dropped, I started seeing *a lot* of people playing Doomsday to get achievements there. I think this video is why. Thanks, it was really difficult to find a game there before you made this video.

German Engineering is completely broken. I got it while playing as a scout, without ever having purchased uber canteens that round, nor did I use any crit canteens.
I find it hard to believe more people have the TH-cam views achievements than any of the passtime ones, considering they’re actually broken and cannot be achieved
I have deen hank endlessly times, that dude roams pass time and may be found anywhere, any moment, any time, that dude knows no other gamemode other than pass time.
the real hardest archivement is killing 1 million robots in MvM, i belive that you need like 450 hours of non stop mvm on a specific map as sniper to get close to that time, its bugged on the total completion order (or SAM has something to do with it)
i played a few rounds with 'Hank on passtime before i watched this video and i can confirm that he is like an instant win card. So if you see him in game may god be so merciful to put him in your team. Otherwise you are most likely going to lose.
The thing that stings about the pass time achievement is that I won so many rounds in the pass time beta (may even have played with hank, he seems familiar), was a huge lover of the mode, but if I recall correctly they only added that achievement after it left "beta" lol. Anyone have tips on good days/times to successfully catch a game? I do have the tuning achievement tho. I can't remember, I either did it in a tf2maps group or with the now deactivated steam powered user forums crowd after it came out. Also, doomsday is very underrated in my opinion and I'm still glad to this day that valve kept it alive by turning into merasmus's carnival.
i'm pretty sure that around 99% of the people who have the tune merasmus' tv achievement got it from achievement servers because it gives you the Military Grade JACK Hat, and the PASS Time Miniature Half JACK

The merasmus tv achievement is more common because you can just do it in in a private server with bots as long as you know what needs to be done.

From what I've seen with the push bots into the grinder is that that is a team based achievement, so I don't think it was bugged for you.

1:47 Funny story I got this achievement when I only had 35 hours on tf2. I was playing dustbowl and somehow I got it. Here the funny thing I got the achievement while the enemy engineer was building his sentry and I wrangles it down. I don't how I got it first try accidentally , while not even trying.

German Engineering is completely broken. I got it while playing as a scout, without ever having purchased uber canteens that round, nor did I use any crit canteens.
I find it hard to believe more people have the TH-cam views achievements than any of the passtime ones, considering they’re actually broken and cannot be achieved
I have deen hank endlessly times, that dude roams pass time and may be found anywhere, any moment, any time, that dude knows no other gamemode other than pass time.

the real hardest archivement is killing 1 million robots in MvM, i belive that you need like 450 hours of non stop mvm on a specific map as sniper to get close to that time, its bugged on the total completion order (or SAM has something to do with it)

i played a few rounds with 'Hank on passtime before i watched this video and i can confirm that he is like an instant win card. So if you see him in game may god be so merciful to put him in your team. Otherwise you are most likely going to lose.

That one mvm where you have to push robots into the grinder in Manhatten says as a team, meaning everyone gets it. I think
PASS time without first-slot weapons, and no sentries, would make it MUCH more attractive to play.
Honestly, I completely agree with the sentries. The game mode is an interesting idea, but it's just not *quite* compatible with TF2's weapons/classes.
The thing that stings about the pass time achievement is that I won so many rounds in the pass time beta (may even have played with hank, he seems familiar), was a huge lover of the mode, but if I recall correctly they only added that achievement after it left "beta" lol. Anyone have tips on good days/times to successfully catch a game?
I do have the tuning achievement tho. I can't remember, I either did it in a tf2maps group or with the now deactivated steam powered user forums crowd after it came out. Also, doomsday is very underrated in my opinion and I'm still glad to this day that valve kept it alive by turning into merasmus's carnival.

i'm pretty sure that around 99% of the people who have the tune merasmus' tv achievement got it from achievement servers because it gives you the Military Grade JACK Hat, and the PASS Time Miniature Half JACK
Wasn't the case for me. I then helped people get it 2 or 3 times after I already had it.
5:15 I think because the kritzkreig crits are a form of Uber it tricked the game into thinking you A had and used an “Uber canteen” and B with those crits got 15 kills in total
