- Having new brakes/springs installed in my 1987 Ford F800 dump truck. Then buying a new 20 ton trailer and having the trailer place add air to the rear for the trailer brakes.

Learning how to bake as a kid taught me ounces, cups, pints, and other measures so that part of math in middle school was intuitive. Now, I'm the one who is always asked "How many ounces in . . . ". Comes in handy for this stuff as well as baking muffins. LOL.

You ever fix something that has been bugging you for a long time? I have. And I get giddy about it. I remember one. Shower rod. Replaced it with a one-piece one. The curtain always used to get hung up in the middle. I think I purchased the new rod years ago.

I think I the reason I enjoy these videos is because it differs from the others. It doesn't show much work on the business side of shows the behind the scene things that need to be done to be successful. What pricing correctly allows you to do. I also enjoy the fact that he doesn't look to buy new shiny equipment. If it works it works. If it doesn't we fix it. Stay dirty my boy.

He uses fast forward at the right times, brings in his dogs to give just the right touch that makes the viewer feel like he's their personal friend. Then to top it off his use of the drones and narration make it so interesting that what would seemingly be a boring subject comes to life in a way that anyone would enjoy.

Perhaps the reason why 1.3 million people subscribe to your vids is because it's clear that you work damn hard, nothing seems like to much of a challenge to you and whats really, really important is you get stuck in and actually repair things rather than chucking stuff away. @@jazko no where is that more true than on old trucks. New trucks have DEF and EGR and common rail injectors and old trucks have none of that. Just pure simplicity. They will run as long as you’re willing to keep them running.

LOL! Napster was around way before '06, at that point/year they were pretty much defunct, limewire was on it's way out, and utorrent and the Pirate Bay were becoming the main platforms along with a few other smaller ones.

Was I the only one scared to see him driving a multi ton vehicle while focusing on the drone instead of the road? I was glad to hear that the engine is governed down to 65 mph. Anything that heavy and with a stiff suspension system can be difficult to control at higher speeds and the brakes only work well on a paved surface. If another truck hits it on the road those brakes won't work very well when they hit the dirt at that speed. If the tires dig into the soil sideways because of a hit it could be flipped onto its side. Be safe out there because bad stuff happens in fractions of a second. BTW it was a great idea to do the jack knife test and move the air connections. The trailer light connection can be protected by enclosing it on 3 sides with some steel plate.

Heres a helpful hint I learned from a smart old man.along time ago. If you're ever drilling through thick plate. Drill a secondary hole just inside of the outer radius of your line itll channel the shavings into and "flush" them out also your bit will last longer by just focusing on cutting metal and not working against the shavings . Just a suggestion from a guy who learned alot from a smart grumpy old man. R.I.P. Bill you awnry cuss the world needs more people like you in it now.
