I feel like the branch cutter needs a row of teeth on the top side as well. Several times you can see branches bypass the cutter by escaping up the top.

Things while usually starting with start fluid, and it's easier to close it back up without it running. Also, when you hook up the charger, I usually will turn on the lights for a second or bump the start to draw the current in. I'm sure you know all this with all the equipment you have. An old trick to help start a engine in the winter is, to run a hose from the exhaust on your generator to the exhaust on the engine (we used to use flex exhaust hose for 2 feet .. then old spring wire vacuum cleaner hose :) )
It's amazing how much wasted heat a generator produces! Heat the entire block up on the vehicle eventually

If we had that much snow I would probably still have a working snowmobile. With electric start and reverse. In the old days we thought that stuff added weight and stole speed. It looked like that electric reverse worked well. Keep up the good work and take good care of those pups.

Great job on the diagnostic approach to determining the problem. Fantastic idea to fix the bent valve. I'm guessing the hole in the trunk was for a CB radio antenna because they were very popular in that time period. I really enjoyed the drone footage. I love the Gus man. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet dude you guys have snow out there. Looks like a great time.
I tried renting sleds with my wife in eagle river last weekend but they didn't have any snow. Same with traverse city. We drove the loop around lake michigan in my truck instead. I saw people take off snowmobiling right next to my hotel in escanaba on lake michigan at 05:30 but it was dark I don't know how far they went and I never saw them again.

Time for your thinking cap to come up with some type of self-cleaning for the cutter. That is a real good combination, especially at a quicker pace. Good job Andrew.

In Russia, the most popular snowmibile for making snowmobile trails is Buran snowmobile. It is the copy of ski doo Valmont of 1970-s. And it is still produced by RM. It has 2 38cm tracks, so the footprint suits for all snowmobiles and even for making ski track.
