Hello from Washington, Michigan. Go Blue!! I so enjoy watching you ladies 😊. My Aunt lives near you on Long Island and I hope to visit your shop. Last time I was in Long Island I was three years old in 1967 for my Aunt and Uncle’s wedding. My Uncle worked for Pan Am so they always visited us in Michigan. Hoping to go to Rhinebeck in 2024 and make a side trip to see my Aunt and visit your shop❤

I’ve done that with the car! Both door open AND car running! I’ve even emptied dishwasher into the fridge😂
Went from East Texas to a Dallas yarn shop one morning at 5:30am. Wanted to get the best deal! Jumped out of the car when we got there and ran in. They were already super busy. When we came out a couple of hours later our car doors were wide open! We got a kick out of that.
You Ladies are gorgeous, I don't see wrinkles and Dina I love your "frosted" hair! Lots of women try to get that look and Mother Nature is doing that naturally for you😊and Pam, has anyone ever told you that you and Julia Louis-Dreyfres favor each other? You could be sisters! The Icelandic bind off is often used if binding off garter stitch and it has the benefit of being stretchy but structured.
Hi ladies. Love you as always. Dina did you ever think about installing French drains in your basement. My son lives at the bottom of a hill to conservation land and it was an ongoing battle for his basement. He dug up and put French drains as well as a sump pump. Then painted the basement with something to seal cement. He has nothing from that time on except for a tiny bit of spitting on very fair occasions. It isn’t real cheap but overall the cost for every storm and the stress made it so worth it. French drains are worth it if there is a high water table and huge storms. Diane

It’s hard to believe any knitter would steal anything! I was surprised to hear that also from a shop owner in a lovely shop in Jackson, MS. I thought maybe she was a bit paranoid. But then, maybe not. That’s a shame. I’m sure it’s a rare happening. She had cameras.
I hope you find your shawl! Whenever I am looking for something, I always say the scripture “all things hidden shall be revealed” Luke 8:17. Never fails 😊

Yes I bend my needles if knitting socks on small needles....I have snapped bamboo ones...
Pam I keep leaving the back of my van open. Plus did not go anywhere for a few days. Everything was damp.

Pam! I left the office, drove to lunch, returned to office in a rush, left the car running. After work THE POLICE were there at my car wondering what the heck was going on. So humiliating. I pretended there was absolutely nothing strange about it, hopped in car, left the police there just shaking their heads. I could just imagine what they were thinking about me. Hilarious

Both of you come up with the best ideas of what to do with those special skeins of yarn….sometimes finding a pattern to go with that skein is difficult. Your ideas are so helpful. I had no problem with the shingles vaccine but the pharmacist told me to premeditate with a Tylenol and Benadryl. Doesn’t hurt to ask before the next one.

I just picked up sock knitting again. I used to knit socks years ago but stopped. Not sure why. But picked it up again recently and am making a pair of Halloween socks
Wait, praying to St. Jude is for hopeless cases like people with terminal illnesses. Praying to St. Anthony helps you find things and I swear it works. But I guess I shouldn’t swear ha ha. Even though I have been a protestant for nearly 20 years all those years of Catholic school are still ingrained in me. And then, if you want to sell your house, you bury a statue of Saint Joseph upside down in the front lawn. And that has worked for me as well.🤣🤣
You can get shingles more than once. If you have had the chicken pox, you should get the shingles vaccine. Shingles are very painful. Stay healthy and dry!

I remember the Grocery Girls telling a story of picking up Joji Locatelli at the airport and taking her to a yarn shop, and when they came back out they realized they had left the driver's side door wide open the whole time they were shopping. LOL
When the kids roll their eyes when we ask for help with technology they need to be reminded that once upon a time we taught them how to use a spoon!
Thanks for the reminder about vaccinations, ladies-just made my Covid vaccination appointment...have had all the others. A friend of mine just came down with a horrible case of shingles-and you can get it repeatedly! Yikes!
Shingles: my dad have har IT multipl times, they sau can come back every 10th year what they Said in Norway. But he has IT in 81 and now in 2018....

My mom has long term nerve damage and pain from shingles and suffers terribly
Oh my! I had Shingles when I was young - in 1973! And there was no medication to ease the pain!! It lasted 8 weeks and unthought I was gonna die! So I’ve had the shots and wouldn’t wish Shingles on anyone! If you have had Chicken Pox, you will always be able to get Shingles again! Ugh! Please get the shots. ❤

So I haven’t left my car door open but once while in grocery store husband and granddaughter waiting for me in parking lot. Iwalked out they watched me walk right by and I got into the wrong truck!! Opened door got in while saying “lord the store was so crowded!” and surprised the heck out of the gentleman probably waiting for his wife 😂😂😂granddaughter and husband nearly peed themselves watching this. The guy was like ummmmmm????? To my credit at least the truck was the same color as ours ( not same make or size 🙄🙄🙄) to this day I never get in without looking at my husband before even touching the door

Haven’t left the car door open but I’ve tried to get into a car that wasn’t mine. And I’ve left my car running quite a few times and actually locked myself out and had to call my husband to come and rescue me. But that was years ago. Now the car beeps at me if I don’t shut it off
