Cheers Mart, I realised Pendine was approaching fast when you posted the manifold milling videos. Thanks for taking time to take us to Wooton Park and the twin carb preview, I look forward to seeing the car on the sand, looks like the weather may co-operate this weekend as well, good luck and take care,.

Thanks Mart for taking us to Wooten Park. I have a soft spot for Rootes products, my father, grandfather and myself having owned about 13 between us. I really liked that Holbay Hunter never got those here and never seen one close up under the bonnet until you poked your camera in there. Good luck at Pendine and will look forward to seeing the action on a later video..

The '33 twin carbs are looking good Mart. It doesn't look like the Pendine 2024 results are on the VHRA site yet, so I hope that you had a good weekend, and the car ran well.
In the run up to the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings there was an interesting program about the Science of D Day (specialised equipment/vehicles for the landings). The british Thornicroft LC A landing craft were powered by two Ford V8 engines. There must have been a lot of V8 Flatheads used at that time in all manner of applications.

Not sure I'd park my Range Rover p38 next to an electric car 😂. My Dad had a ford consol. I would love a Stag but unfortunately bit out of my price range. Av seen a 6R4 up here theres a boy got one in the local rallys. Always liked the look of Hillman hunter to. My cousin had a 100E as well 😂. Am not sure what he did with it. Xr2i fiesta they make good money these days i had one back in early 2000. Nice collection there Mart. Another one my freind had the MG b GT it was a lovely car. 😊

Hair and beard trim for weight saving at Pendine is proper hardcore Mart.

Hi Mart. I even (heaven forbid) wore my turnups DOWN to prevent unexpected ballast.

Following the twin carb series Mart. Will you infom us on the tuning changes you made for the twins? What jets and do you change the power valves. Thanks.

Hi Scott. I used 2 94s with (stock?) 50 jets. Power valves are stock. I haven't done any fine tuning, it gets a little rich if left idling. Thanks for watching.

@@MartsGarage thanks Mart. I'm down to a 47 jet in my carbs with a 4.5 and a 5.5 power valves. 40 over engine with not to much of a cam. Runs out pretty clean for me. As always enjoy your videos.
