    This song is another perfect example of why Fat Mike is one of the best lyricists in the game.

    Could it be I finally found somebody who's equally obsessed with this band as I am? Greets from a 38-year old german punk "in the top 1% of their listeners". Subbed!

      Thanks for the sub! 39-year old American here! Nice to meet ya!

    I'm a young dude (and I say that because I think NOFX demographic is older) that mainly listens to trap and all those soundcloud rappers.
    I like to think today's trap artists are similar to punk in some aspects which is why I like the genre, and this band are really pulling on the strings about what I perceive punk to be.
    This is as punk as I've heard a band before in today's times. The lyrics are nothing short of phenomenon and they make me really want to expand my taste into this genre more.
    Thanks for the reaction.

    My dad saw Nofx and bought the first album and saw them in Dayton Ohio and smoked with 2 of them after the show. Years later I’m going through my dad’s vinyl and say hey can I take this to my room and listen to it. Fan since I was probably 14. Thanks dad!!!🎶 My all time favorite band. My kids love them too! Glad I found your channel.❤

    I feel like you're right here. They are a bigger punk band, but they almost get no recognition of that fact. NOFX, Pennywise, Vandals- all huge and yet....oddly unrecognized.

      Nofx are ENORMOUSLY fairly recognized. They’re millionaires for Christ sakes. There’s barely a difference between them and Green Day.
      Maybe screeching weasel is a Cckunt hair under appreciated. But Nofx gets all the credit they deserve .

      @@StickDastardly ok, let’s pretend that I misunderstood you. Smelly is absolutely credited for his superb drumming by everyone. Hefe has always been the “talent” in that band so he has always been credited. And every yootoob vid of “greatest punk bassline/bassists” ALWAYS credits fat Michael. They are criminally overappreciated no matter how you angle this.

    It's amazing what NOFX can do when they give it 65%. The I got to pee song is genius because everyone has had that moment of oh god I have to take a piss right now. Then once you approach the bowl then priorities change and ya gotta poop. What I really like about the song is that every person on the planet has had that moment and it's just so relatable.

    • @StickDastardly
      @StickDastardly  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Underrated song, imo. It's so heavy! Lol. And the goofiness just sets it off and no one conveys sheer panic in their vocal styles as Mel does
