@HeXtian idk if you know this but in my experience working with yarn it's best to use acrylic based yarns not cotton or wool. I reuse and card my yarn to make stuffing for my projects I've learned that when carding (using a pet brush) or even spreading the yarn it will easily fall apart and break if it's cotton, I'm not too sure about wool as I've worked with it once a long time ago and can't recall the results. But of course this is only my experience, I'm sure you may find something that works better for you. 😊❤ as always your work is amazing and I love love love what you do!
She's beautiful! Great work! °NO SPOILERS° I loved the new Little Mermaid, but what really made it special was a kid in my theatre. Towards the end, I heard a little kid quietly crying behind me, and I just assumed they were scared. Then the kid said something I didn't expect at all. This little voice said through tears, "She saved the world. Ariel saved everyone!" The kid's parent replied, "Yes, she did. She was very brave." I glanced back and saw the parent wiping away the kid's tears with a theatre napkin. The child went back to watching the movie, totally enraptured. I nearly started crying. I finished the movie, incredibly emotional myself now. I watched the 2 of them leave our theatre, a huge smile plastered across the kid's face. Halle Bailey's Ariel became this child's hero that day. Never tell me representation doesn't matter.
That's actually really concerning the child can't tell the difference between reality and fiction. They will probably have a hard time as a functioning adult.

Yay, longer tail! The tail was really my only gripe with the previous version you did, so I'm glad it was revised. I love the glitter scales, it reminds me of The Rainbow Fish cartoon that I was obsessed with as a kid 🤣

I love how the more you make mermaid dolls the tails evolve more. Your mishelle mermaid had a painted tail with glitter flecks & now they are covered in scale seaquins & glitter. You should do a Melissa McCarthy Ursula repaint with some inspiration from your rococo Ursula

(warning contains spoiler) hey Hex, i am still watching and will comment again, but i just wanted to comment on how awesome that you added the rock mount! There's this beautiful scene where Ariel in the live action seems very attached to this rock out in the water and when the scene of Vanessa pops up and she's in despair she swims to this rock and literally clings to it for comfort and later she is on this same rock at the end before Triton gives back her legs. the rock was literally like another character for me. so it's so nice that it got appreciated it's also like a fusion of both that sentimental rock and the rock in the under the sea sequence combined. it's a great and creative method to reuse props and a super fun way of changing scenery from under the sea to above it. will comment again soon on the new halle doll after watching!

OMG! Hextiannn this is so good. It's giving live action but totally upgraded version. Halle Bailey did so great in the movie as well. Now I'm thinking of what it would look like for you to do the other sisters, like your version of them. It'll be so good just thinking abt it.
She was great and I really liked that they did a bigger segment for when she was human but the movie lacked attention to the artistic side of things, makeup, and colour overall could've been brighter and more vivid, they could have paid more attention to details (Ariel's hair colour, more dress options to her human version, Ursulas makeup, etc)
